In late July, my credit card was subject to fraud, so a new card was issued. I apparently failed to update my payment info prior to the 8/1/15 bill, but did it the same day that they tried to charge my old card and notified me of the declined payment. A couple of weeks later, they charged a $25 declined payment fee but didn't add it to my bill to be auto paid. They also didn't notify me of the charge until a letter sent 9/2/15. Admittedly, I am at fault of taking another month to contact them via email to request they waive the fee given my record of never having missed a payment in the 7 years of being a customer. I received a response saying not only would they not waive the fee, they also suspended my service until I paid the $25 fee (it hadn't been suspended prior to my request to waive the fee) and that we also would owe a $50 fee to restart service. My husband called the next morning and was given the same response. We decided to cancel the service since there are several other providers in our area. At that point they offered to cut the fee in half and give us 2 free months of service, but we would still be charged the $50 restart fee. I declined. Then I was told there is a $35 fee for them to pick up their trash can. At this point, I'm more than happy to pay whatever it takes to stop doing business with such a customer-unfriendly company. I subsequently signed up for Aspen, and their price is $45 less per quarter including all fees. Haven't had our first pick up so I don't know how the service compares to WM, but the price is definitely better. Wish I'd done the comparison shopping sooner.

Did get one email answered on 7/14/14 stating they were "moving to a new location and the check would be in the mail that day". it is now 7/27/14 and I have received no check and all communication has been ignored.... I would suggest you find another place to send your stuff....I am out approx $232
