My 9yr old daughter Lena was injured, her right ankle was dislocated. This happened in June 2019…read moreand she was put in a cast twice because her foot turned in. She was unable to walk, was in constant pain and was using a wheelchair. When her cast came off we attended Foothills and Lindsay started to work with my daughter. At first it was hard. My daughter resisted because of the nerve pain around her ankle. Lindsay was understanding but encouraging and she didn't let my kid slack. She set goals for my daughter, she asked questions and got to know her. Lindsay used all of her knowledge and explained things in a way my daughter could understand. My daughter finally got why she was being challenged, and she decided to want to be active in her recovery insted of fighting it because of the pain. Lindsay was great at finding ways to get Lena to allow her to touch her ankle, and in the pain she was in that was a big deal! Linsay has a way of listening to her, acknowledging her but still finding a way to encourage Lena to try. Lena loves Lindsay, she looks forward to her PT. In few months Lena went from wheelchair to crutches. Carlos worked with her and he got her to move by being creative, and playing balloon toss! Lena started putting weight on her foot becauseof that game...then a few more weeks of PT she allowed us to put on her brace. The first time she walked with Lindsay I cried, because it had been so long in that wheelchair and I was relieved that they were able to help her. She's getting better everyday. Now she's walking and doing lunges and jumping, balancing, pushups, dancing! She wears her brace, but soon she will be back to normal with no brace. Thanks to Lindsay, Carlos, Daniel, and the rest of the staff that is so fun and friendly. From the reception staff, to all the therapists. All are welcoming and they care. If you want results, and a place where you are made to feel welcomed and comfortable then go to Foothills Sport Medicine PT.

I wanted to like this facility. The receptionist was extremely helpful and kind. However, I…read morearrived 15 minutes before my appointment, despite completing the forms online. I paid almost $300 for an initial assessment. I waited painfully in the waiting room seeing the staff talking amongst themselves while they were doing treatments. One staff member was using the patient machines. My assigned physical therapist finally came to greet me 20 minutes after my appointment start time. He looked me over for about 5 minutes then put me onto exercises. The whole time I was doing them, he was talking personal patient information with another staff member right in front of me. He wandered around chattering with the other staff. Not paying any attention to me to see if I was doing my exercises correctly or needed guidance. Even while he was massaging my back I could see him gesturing to another staff member while I was talking to him. I paid good money to come get one on one care to improve my acute back pain, to only receive the complete opposite. I ended up canceling all my future appointments to go to a different facility. The receptionist was so kind when I called to cancel that I didn't have the heart to tell her the real reason I didn't want to return. I was going to let it be. Then I received an additional bill stating I owed more money for that absolutely terrible assessment! I couldn't believe it. It saddens me to see that this is an acceptable level of care and service at this facility by licensed practitioners. I hope the managers see this and try to improve for any future pain suffers that may come to your facility.

Absolutely the worst medical experience of my life. Dr. Adam…read moreFarber should not be allowed to interact with patients -- especially injured ones. During an IME for my shoulder injury, I clearly told him I was in pain and that raising my arm could cause dislocation. He ignored me, made a sarcastic comment ("It won't dislocate from this angle"), and forcibly moved my arm, which caused so much pain I cried in the exam room. He then mocked the fact that I take Tylenol for pain, saying, "Oh that's odd you take that... makes sense the pain doesn't get better." His tone was completely dismissive and unprofessional. As I sat in tears from the pain he caused, he coldly said, "The exam's over. You can leave now," and walked out -- no compassion, no follow-up, nothing. A staff member named Rachel Niemeyer witnessed the entire appointment, and even she looked uncomfortable. I left feeling violated, belittled, and worse than when I walked in. I sat in my car in tears and found dozens of reviews describing the same exact abuse -- Farber hurting people during exams, mocking their pain, and treating them like liars. Avoid this man at all costs. He doesn't listen, he doesn't care, and in my case, he actively caused more damage. If you're being sent to him for an IME, protect yourself and demand someone else!

After the X-rays were taken, Dr Adam came into the room, introduced himself and was on time. He did a thorough exam. He had me come to look at my X-rays and explained everything in terms that I could understand. He was friendly and very much to the point. After determining that my X-rays were clean (thankful) he said the next step is an MRI to determine the amount of damage to my meniscus. He even showed me the different addresses of the imaging centers and the ones he recommended due to the type of imaging offered. I look forward to my follow up appointment and feel confident with possibly having him scope and clean up my knee. My friend who was a patient had a very good experience with Dr Farber, as he needed surgery. Now the next step.....

No surgery was needed; just rest and immobilization. In early January, two months after the bones were broken, I graduated out of the cast and out of the walking boot and into physical therapy. My physical therapist was Heather B. and she was fantastic! During the sessions, I mostly worked with her assistant Marcus to go through my exercise routines. Heather would take over at the end of the appointment for an assessment and foot rub (the footrub made it all worth it!!). Both Heather and Marcus were kind and patient throughout the experience, making my PT sessions as painless as possible. I noticed a huge difference between my first and last PT visit. Day 1, I couldn't even walk on my broken foot. By the end of my PT sessions, I could hop, balance on one foot, do calf raises, and all kinds of normal activities. I still haven't tried to run, but I'm not much of a runner anyway... you'll only catch me running in case of an emergency. My foot still hurts everyday, but Heather said it's normal and the pain will continue to decrease over time. It's been 5 months since I broke my foot. I'm very happy with the recovery I've made so far, and I know that the physical therapy I received here contributed significantly. I hope I won't ever need PT again, but if I do, I'll return to TOCA and (hopefully!) see Heather again. 5/5 stars!

From the first visit, I can see why it has overwhelmingly positive reviews. The first time I visited Axis Spine and Sport, the setup differed from what it is today. Regardless, I have been very pleased with how I have felt better after each appointment. The staff are friendly and welcoming, whether it is the front desk staff or the chiropractors themselves, it is always fun talking to them. Everyone makes you feel right at home, and I can tell how passionate the chiropractors are about their work. They are masters of their craft, and the results show every time I stop by. I also appreciate the gym located in their building, which you can use while waiting for your appointment. If anyone is looking for a chiropractor who knows what he or she is doing, Axis Spine and Sport is the place to go. Whenever I need anything regarding chiropractic care, I will look no further than Axis Spine and Sport.
