I've had Jennifer cut and style my hair for a very long time, and the quality of her work is…read moreabsolutely incredible. She does a fantastic job of making you feel comfortable with your hair, of doing a great job of the style, and making you feel at home. There are a lot of stylists who can make you feel uncomfortable, seem a bit judgemental or want to go with their own choices; I've always left an appointment with Jennifer feeling uplifted by the cut, the style, the conversation. Really great stylists do more than just cut hair, they help you find the choices that make you feel good and they make you feel completely safe in the outcome. The cozy environment here does exactly that, and that's why they are always booked pretty solid. It may take you a while to get an appointment, but it is definitely worth it. Once you have this kind of experience, it's hard to go back to anything else. I think every woman has had at least one bad stylist or one bad experience where someone wants to tell you how to do it, or you don't feel comfortable with things coming together; maybe you don't trust the outcome. There is a real reason why people travel for an hour or more to come to this salon. Try it once and you're going to know exactly why.

Beyond that, my hair always comes out how I expect and so do my friend's that have come to her based on my referral. Disappointed in the staff and customer service here and I wasn't even serviced…read more I called prior to my arrival asking for information regarding their waxing services and they answered everything and finished with saying that anyone in the shop is available to perform the wax for me. Great. I said I'm otw. I go inside the shop which had a very weird smell tbh, and I'm initially ignored by all of the staff. I loudly said hello to the one woman doing a clients hair because she was the first that I saw, and then three other staff members. Appear. One sweeping her station, another hiding in the back corner on her phone and a third nears the front desk. The one at the desk I had to initiate our speaking also which is incorrect in the customer service field.... I've been doing this 10 years you don't wait for the guest to speak to you. She should be speaking to every guest as the shop door opens. Anyways. I told them I wanted a brow wax. This chick she just looked me up and down, looked at the other staff members and was like mmmmm yea it's gonna be a "hard" 30 minutes before anyone's available for you..... I'm confused like Id just spoken on the phone with someone hardly 7 minutes prior and they said they were available. Other guests had come into the shop in that time, so okay fine. I opted to leave my name and cell number for them to call me in a half hour when they were ready. I left to grab a bite to eat and never received a call from anyone in the staff. It's been a week later and I'm in the parking lot again remembering how poorly they treated me, so I'm leaving my review. The night of when I was waiting for the call, I realized it had been three hours since I was inside the shop and they were probably beginning to close, these broads never called me. I was only even going to go here for my brow wax because the shop I normally go to, their waxer was unavailable that day so my original shop recommended me to go here to fantastic sams. Nothing was fantastic about any thing .... I will be actively going out of my way to tell people NOT to go here or to their other location either. Whether their energy was racism based, or out of laziness I don't know and don't care to speculate. It was executed so poorly. Rudely. Inattentively. Just do not go here. Even if someone recommends them. This was enough for me to get a very sour taste in my mouth over the company.

I got the pedicure #3 (I believe that is named the Deluxe pedicure) which included hot stones, lotion, the scrub, hot towels and some other things. The guy who did my pedicure was amazing as well. She moved onto the eyebrow waxing and it was painful. At one point she somehow pinched my eyelid with the wax and left a blood blister on my eyelid. I jumped as it hurt and I said you pinched me. She acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. When she was done, she handed me the mirror and I pointed at the blood blister and she said you had this when you came in. I said that I would not have requested my brows to be waxed if I did have a blood blister. My manicure did not include filing or shaping my nails only cutting. I thought that was very odd. Two of my fingers were not cut evenly and she said it was because my fingers are crooked. After the waxing she had me pay for all of the services before I even had the manicure. This attendant was rude and mean and would not allow me to address my concerns. She just shut me down and acted like she didn't understand me. I don't deal well with public confrontation and this was an awful experience for me.
