Fearing this would affect the trade-in value, I decided to do something about it. I did actually find pre-made covers online, but was concerned about the difficulty installing them. Also, they were expensive. Instead, I decided to get an estimate from an expert. So, I cruised Yelp and found Simon's Auto Upholstery in Tolleson. I sent an email and quickly got a response from the owner, Frank. After sending a couple of photos, I had my estimate. While not cheap, the cost was just slightly more than if I had purchased the seat covers myself. And I had a professional to install them. So, I scheduled with Frank and was in, in several weeks. So, I arrived at 8:30 AM and was told by Frank that my vehicle would be ready by the end of the day. He also told me that he should be able to closely match the original. Oh, I though he was going to buy factory covers and install them. Instead, he said he would make them himself. I agreed and decided that if the match with the other seat was not really close, that I would do the other seat as well. Frank called at 4:00 PM to tell me that my truck was ready. Great! Upon inspection of the new seat, I was thrilled. It was perfect! And no need to do the other seat because they matched so well. Frank honored the estimate price and just like that, it was done. Frank had been very professional, friendly and honest with me. I feel he's a very trustable guy. I am really happy that I found Simon's Auto Upholstery. And I love my new seat!
