I have found it incredibly hard to find a good spray tanning facility in Phoenix. After reading all of the positive reviews about Phoenix Glow I decided to give them a try! I couldn't be happier with the results. I have a very natural looking and even tan. No streak marks and no orange undertones! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, I felt very comfortable during the whole process! I will definitely be returning and sending all of my friends to Phoenix glow.(: read more

Nikki saved us!!!!! My husband is a bodybuilder and the spray tan we paid for through the competition was horrible!!! I was frantically trying to find a place that could do a super dark competition spray at the last minute. Nikki and Phoenix Glow came through!!! Nikki was so great, professional, and a magical airbrusher! We are so very thankful that you were there and did the job you did! If we are ever in Phoenix again, it's only Phoenix Glow for us!!!! THERE ARE NO WORDS THAT COULD THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!! read more

So I am doing a new review because I have been going to see these ladies for months now and even though it was 5 stars the first time it could be 10 stars now if I could give it to them I have done the wick tans (the type you wash in a few hours) and the good ole regular leave on overnight and both are flawless. My personal opinion is I like the overnight most but if I was in a rush I would t hesitate on the quick tan. Everyone that works here is phenomenal and anytime you have a question I swear they go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. I also love the membership you get two tans a month and can gift one to someone else if you want to such a great bonus. I will add this, I'm not a skinny girl and for years I avoided a spray tan and went to crappy booths because I wasn't comfortable having someone spray me. The ladies here always make me feel so comfortable. In case a bigger gal feels the same way I do I just wanted to share this. I am all for supporting local businesses and if you are in need of a tan you can't go wrong with Phoenix Glow. Thank you to Ann and get entire team for always taking such care to make me feel great! read more

Love the tan that Ann makes for me! I have been going here for over a year now and will definitely keep coming. The tan lasts a long time and it never comes off weird. Looks very natural. Awesome color! read more

I am a very pale person who cannot naturally tan, and it was recommended that I try a spray tan. I was very hesitant at first, because of the classic stereotype of the white girl looking orange and I had tried self tanner and it flopped pretty hard, but I decided it was worth giving it a try and oh my god I am OBSESSED. I have a lot of insecurity with swimsuits and never really feeling confident in them, but I decided to try some on and I felt confident for the first time in my life. I was trying on all of my clothes, and some that I didn't feel looked quite right, and the tan literally made me feel hot in everything I put on. I would say that if you're looking to try it, go here. They do a great job at talking you through the process, making you feel safe and comfortable, and they also make a mix for you based on what you talk about in the consultation, they also are so receptive to feedback, and keep notes in your file. So if you go home and think, maybe it's a little too dark? Maybe it's not dark enough? Maybe you want a different undertone next time? They want to know those things so that they can find your perfect tan. They also want to know if you had any issues with the tan, and they give you all the information you need for before your tan, during your tan, and after your tan and will answer any questions about it that you have. This is something that isn't just for a special event in my opinion, it's something you can do all times of the year, and regularly, and it's affordable. $55/mo for two tans. I worked with Ashley, she was so sweet and the salon has great energy all around! read more

I used Phoenix Glow for my wedding tan and loved my experience. I am not someone who gets spray tan on a regular basis so the process was intimidating but the tanning artists were very helpful, professional, and answered all of my many questions. I must have forgotten to wipe my hands off though because the morning after the tan they were looking a little orange but I sent an email asking for help and they got back to me right away with helpful suggestions and feedback, and I really appreciated that. By the day of the wedding my hands were back to normal and the tan was perfect! I would highly recommend Phoenix Glow! read more

Best tans EVER!! I've been going here for 3 years now and my tans have always been perfect and last so long. The owner, Ann, and her staff are amazing at what they do and are so welcoming. I've recommended all of my friends and they've had great experiences as well. Highly recommend! read more

I just moved to AZ 2 weeks ago and was looking for a spray tan before my best friend's wedding. I watched the videos, read all of the tips, and did exactly what I was supposed to do. When I woke up, my arms were completely splotchy. I figured maybe it would improve after my first shower. I showered in cool water, did not use soap, and did not scrub, as instructed. Now I am left with arms that look like I have leopard spots and I have one day until the wedding where I am the maid of honor and will be in tons of pictures. I am a melanoma survivor and cannot tan in the traditional way, so spray tans are the only thing I can do. I've had many and have never had this happen. I reached out via Instagram and was told to purchase a sugar scrub and/or tanning lotion from the drug store. Was never offered a refund. I already spent over $40 with a tip and now I'm expected to spend more. I just spent 30 minutes in a hot shower trying to get this tan off and will do the same tomorrow. I am beyond embarrassed to show up to an outdoor wedding looking like this in the daylight. Will not be going back. The picture doesn't even do it justice...it truly looks worse and of course it's in the areas that will show in my dress. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I got my tan for my boyfriends white coat ceremony event. I was a little nervous for fear of being orange or looking unnatural due to a spray tan or two I got in the past. This was my second time here and both experiences were worth 5 stars. So nice and welcoming thanks you guys! Very helpful for customers that weren't sure exactly what they wanted

So, I am a first time spray tanner. I have used at home products, ranging from Jergens to Sun Laboratories Sunless Tanner, however, I have never gone for a spray tan before. Oh, and let me differentiate, this is NOT actually a spray tan, but an AIRBRUSH tan. There is a difference! So now, I will give some feedback on the actual experience, as well as what to expect for a first timer. I arrived at the studio (which is a suite in an office space complex) and was a little unsure of where to go. The suite itself is on the east side of the complex (closest to 24th for the directionally challenged), so park closest to that side. Once I found the place I opened the door and stepped inside. The entry area is small but efficient, with a checkout area, a couch, and some clothing for sale. Ann, the owner and spray tanner was incredibly friendly and greeted me with a smile immediately. Then she asked if I had ever tanned before, to which I replied I had not. She proceeded to give me the low down on tanning, gave me a waiver to sign, and lots of information about the different shades of tan, the different add-ons (i.e. anti-aging, skin firming, etc. and there are LOTS). After I finished filling out the form, it was time. She escorted me into a smallish room with a small tent, a fan, and a table. She told me to lotion up my hands and feet, put my hair into a hair cap, and spritz myself with a lightly fragranced prepping spray. I asked if I should leave my panties on or not, because if you don't... you can avoid ANY tan lines! Which sounded awesome to me. She said for first time tanners she recommends leaving them on so that you can see the difference between your tan and your skin, so you have something to gauge the fade by. She recommends this because you want to be able to tell how your tan is fading, and how fast, so you can make the best choice on your next tan. Then we began the spray tan. She is very professional and puts you at ease, even while naked lol. She gives very clear instructions and the process goes quite quick. Next thing I knew, it was over. She told me to stand in front of the fan for a couple of minutes before getting dressed. She told me not to put my bra on, as the tight straps can ruin the tan. So I put my dark colored, loose fitting clothing back on and went back into the waiting room. She rung me up quickly and efficiently using her iPad and my receipt was emailed to me. Simple as pie. The tan itself looks AMAZING! She really knows her stuff. She understands skin types and tan levels to give you a realistic and darn sexy tan! I am incredibly satisfied on ALL LEVELS with this experience. Ann is amazing. The studio is nice. The process is simple. And the tan is phenomenal! Now a couple of tips tips: (1) take the loose fitting dark clothing thing seriously. She tells you this for a reason; and (2) if you're a contact lens wearer, like myself, consider wearing your glasses, as the spray tan chemical aggravated my eyes a bit. If you're a newbie. DO IT! You will love it. She offers two tans for new clients for $39. I am getting married at the end of April, so I used the first tan yesterday as a test run to make sure I like the result. I will use my second for my wedding. Which reminds me of another amazing perk, she keeps excellent records of her clients and what tans they use. UPDATE: I just want to make a further comment on the quality of this business. I have had some additional interactions with Ann since the tan, and she really is an excellent business woman who values customer service above all else. I really appreciate this in a day when that seems to be the last thing on most businesses minds. Phoenix Glow is the Nordstrom of airbrush tanning; Ann will go above and beyond to ensure that everything about your experience is phenomenal! read more

I have used Phoenix Glow tan for two occasions. One was for my engagement photos and the other was for a vacation in Florida. Both turned out perfect! Ann is amazing. I went to Ann the week before my wedding in a total panic- I had a backless wedding dress, and after being careless on a hike, had a horrible racer back sun burn on my upper back! After being up all night applying aloe and lotion, I called Ann to see if she could squeeze me in on the Thursday before my Saturday night wedding. Not only did she have availability, but she totally calmed me down. I had never done a spray tan before, so she took it in stages, showing me at each stage how it looked, talking me through the after-tan care, and overall calming my bridal nerves. My tan looked incredible- it looked so natural and it blended my sunburn so well that by Saturday, with a little help from the makeup artist, it wasn't even noticeable! Thank you Ann! read more

What could be better than a warm golden glow on your skin that looks natural and is 100% safe?? I don't tan... period, and use sunscreen like it is going out of style, so to find this gem of an airbrush salon that can give me a kiss of sun without the harmful effects is one of my beauty secrets.... though I tell eveyone I can.... so I guess it isn't such a secret! I just tried Phoenix Glow for the first time and I am completely satisfied. I got an appointment the same day and was greeted by Ann. She filled me in with everything I needed to know (it had been a year since my last spray tan so that was helpful). My tan is flawless!! We did a basecoat since I leave town in 4 days and will do another coat then for darker coverage. Even if I left it as is, it would be beautiful! Not orange, and no splotches. I decided to get a last minute tan for my wedding and I found this place via google! The location was close and the prices are affordable. Ann is amazing! She really takes the time to explain the process and the do's and don'ts. She also took the time to talk through what the right color would be for me (I ended up going with the medium-dark which was amazing). There are three levels within each light/dark/medium level (i.e. light-light, light-medium and light-dark) so you can really customize the color. I got a spray tan for my engagement photos and they turned out amazing! And the tan ended up lasting for two weeks. I will definitely be back the next time I go on vacation, for my bachelorette, and my wedding! read more

This is the first time I have ever spray tanned! I also have NEVER used a self tanner on my face. I thought since I had an event to go to (Eat, Drink and Be Pretty), I'd take a chance on a spray tan since KK says it will make you look 10 pounds lighter. Who wouldn't give it a whirl and with the first time client deal Ann has, it was worth a try. Well...I love it! I have to say looking in the mirror it does give the illusion of being thinner. The color is great! No orange Mob wives color...no streaking. Very natural. It looks like I just came back from a week beach vacation. Ann gave me a lot of information and answered all my questions. I am looking forward to my second session and plan to try a different "add on" next time. Good skin color gives the impression of youth and health. I love the idea of not having to wear any makeup on the weekend...as you get older, less is definitely more! I already referred on girlfriend and plan on referring more so I can get $$ off my next services. Thank you Ann! read more

My money is on this woman! My first spray tanning experience was so smooth & she knew just what I wanted thanks Ann! I look great

I'm a guy and went to Phoenix Glow today for my first spray tan. I read Ann's great reviews here on Yelp -- which were all female reviews -- so I emailed her to ask her if she did males and how that worked. She replied very promptly, super friendly and said that yes, she does spray-tan men and that I could wear shorts or she has disposable shorts available there. Cool! I made my appointment online -- very easy and convenient to do. Finding Phoenix Glow on 24th Street was easy, as well, and parking was no problem. I went in a few minutes before my appointment time and met Ann. It was nice because there weren't a bunch of other people there, so there is a really nice sense of privacy. Ann was as personable and friendly in person as she was via email. Since it was my first time, she explained everything, how it all worked, what to expect, etc. We talked about my skin color and the type or depth of tan that I wanted and she instantly got it and understood what I wanted. I'm very fair skinned, so didn't want the George Hamilton leather-look, just a nice mellow, healthy-looking tan. I filled out the little form and then we went into the room where she does the tanning, she explained the few things I needed to do in preparation. She then left the room, I got ready, knocked on the door and she came back in to begin. At all times Ann was completely professional, and she's obviously very knowledgeable. She did the spraying, which only took a few minutes, but she covered all angles, and I then spent a few minutes drying in front of a fan, got dressed and met her at front desk. It was a great experience, I really like my tan and equally important, my wife does, too! We will both be going back to see Ann again. Ann definitely deserves a five-star rating. The next time I return, it will be like visiting an old friend. She really makes the entire process comfortable and easy. Great job, Ann! I will see you again soon. read more

Last Friday was my first time airbrush tanning, and needless to say I was very nervous. First of all, my face was still a little red due to a few poor attempts of sitting out by the pool in hopes of catching a little color, though I was definitely not striving for red. Next, my skin was INCREDIBLY dry, which I know is not necessarily something ideal right before spray tanning. Ann was absolutely phenomenal! She made sure to ask me all the right questions, and therefore was able to pick out just the right shades and drops (I added a little bronze shimmer for only $5 more) so that I would no longer look red, and had the best color ever! My boyfriend, though he claims to love me pale or any way, definitely likes the tan... and if he approves, then I know it was a job well-done!
