Is there any type of trampoline or something like that, because i didn't see one?

Santiago, thank you for your great question! You are correct, you did not see any trampolines at our gym because we don't have one. Unfortunately, our insurance costs would greatly increase if we added a trampoline to our gym. However, while a… Read more

They have everything that you need, and if you don't see it, you can ask for it (I.e. resistance loops are at the front desk). I've never had an issue with the machines being full or any equipment being used for long periods of time. I went at the end of December and it wasn't too busy. A lot of the people at the gym are in great shape, which may be an important note if that bothers you. It is definetely a "get it done" vibe - you probably won't be chatting with everyone else working out. They have TV's around the screen that displayed other people's heart rate/calories burned. I'm not sure how you get your info on there but it was a cool touch. The gym is bigger than you'd think. They have a whole section with cardio, a section with weights/machines, a cafe, a larger misc. area that had random machines and cycling bikes, a clear room with large mirrors (great for yoga) and a separate room that had CrossFit equipment. It fits the needs of everyone!

There were also multiple machines for lifting and a very open space with a large free weight section! My only gripe was that if you wanted to lock up your items in the locker room, you had to bring your own lock. Overall, the staff was friendly, facility was clean, and it had everything I needed. I'll definitely be back to try out the fitness classes and their open space/ CrossFit section!

What is your standard of cleanliness of your tanning beds and rooms? I guess I'm just confused that…read morea business that provides tanning facilities isn't kept at a higher level? I understand that you're "suppose" to clean down your bed after you use it but who is actually checking this? Is this even health code standards that employees "assume" your tanning bed is clean? I have belonged to many tanning facilities throughout the years and also belonged to planet fitness years ago and just signed up again and apparently rules and standards have changed. I always wipe my bed down top to bottom, hand rails, buttons and all the nooks and cranny's because let's be honest tanning beds are filled with germs and all of the "things". When I was assigned to bed 7 today I started cleaning the bed and noticed right away it was still not even wiped down from the person before me. Well I continued to spray the bed down and clean it anyway. While cleaning all the major spots I noticed the inside and top parts were filthy with lotion smears up and down every part of the plastic. On the ledges on the inside of the bed there was hair and dust. The control panel where you hit start stop ect. with buttons were filthy. By now the bed automatically turned on because I had been cleaning the bed still instead of getting ready to enjoy my 12 minutes of tanning. I then had to go to the front desk to have them start the bed over. When I came back I finished sanitizing and cleaning because I wasn't finished. The part of the bed where you pull it down once you get in was probably the most disgusting and disturbing part. My own wipe that I brought was filthy and it took me 3 Clorox wipes to finally get a clean wipe. To me that means these beds do not get cleaned or sanitized to a standard. Is there a standard here or is it "Tan at your own risk of catching a disease?" When I approached the front desk before my tan when I had to ask them to start the bed over I asked the employee what the conduct of cleaning a bed was here and he said we only check 1 time an hour if they "need" to be cleaned. Is this protocol? If so that's fine and I just won't be using your tanning beds and want to make it aware to other people because this is not sanitary at all. I wouldn't mind having your policy and procedures for cleaning the tanning beds. That way I'm aware of your rules.

They need to install…read morerestrooms upstairs as it is a pain to have to go downstairs to the women's locker room to use the sparse restrooms. There are a lot of elderly during the day. The spa definitely needs a makeover. The tech, Phyllis, not only is a nail tech but has a background in podiatry. She is such a sweetie! The LifeTime staff, are very kind, informative and helpful. I hear them call members by name, they stop and chat with you. The instructors actually speak with you when you are new to a class or an event. You can ask questions and talk to them about anything. So far, since this is new I've taken the Arora yoga classes and the instructors are FABULOUS! There are classes for all physical capabilities with zero judgement on what you can or can't do. So far, the facilities used have been clean, in working order and good to go. There is plenty of parking for handicapped, motorcycles and other vehicles in both sides of the building. There is a small cafeteria with a nice selection of beverages, food, snacks and workout clothes. It is immaculately kept. I am not a fan of dressing and undressing in front of all, but that's the way it is. Not a fan. There is shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers. The sinks have feminine products, mouthwash, soap, lotion, shaving cream, deodorant, hair spray and hair dryers. If clients would stop taking products, there would be more than one like today. There is a eucalyptus steam room in the lockers, that was an experience, so good. There is a sauna, whirlpool, cold plunge, lap pool, indoor and outdoor pool. This place is family friendly. If you have children, look into their camps and facilities. The staff was very interactive and patient with the little lifers. You must try the hydro massage chair, there should be 5! It's wonderful, oh my goodness. All in all there is something for everyone at the one stop. Like a beautiful diamond, my favorite, it is multifaceted with staff, things to do, a place to eat, pampering services galore etc etc. loving it

Let me explain why: Last week, my husband and I were attending a Fitness Solutions class. One of the other attendees of the class was wearing a mask that did not cover her nose. I spoke to the woman and asked her to cover her nose. She replied that her mask was too small. I told her that AFS has disposable masks at the front counter. She did not do anything. I alerted the instructor to the situation. He spoke to the woman. She pulled up her mask to cover her nose, but her mask slipped back down almost immediately. She was allowed to stay in the class without getting a disposable mask. At this point, my husband and I asked if we could go into the other classroom. When we did, we saw that this class contained a woman without a properly fitting mask and that her nose wasn't covered. We decided to leave, and freeze our accounts.
