It is definetely a "get it done" vibe - you probably won't be chatting with everyone else working out. They have TV's around the screen that displayed other people's heart rate/calories burned. I'm not sure how you get your info on there but it was a cool touch. The gym is bigger than you'd think. They have a whole section with cardio, a section with weights/machines, a cafe, a larger misc. area that had random machines and cycling bikes, a clear room with large mirrors (great for yoga) and a separate room that had CrossFit equipment. Some of the negative reviews talk about the gym being dirty or machines broken but I didn't notice any of that. Bathroom was clean. They do only have 2 squat racks but 4 benches (see photo). They also have the rare hip machine (see photo) which is a big plus. It was not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon so the 2 squat racks wasn't an issue. They have a basketball court but no one was playing and there was a ball so you may not need to bring one. They did have a seating area with a tv (see photo) which I had not seen before. But it was useful for me to search through places to eat since I am not from Michigan. Overall very good. Only downside is 25 mins away from Univ of Michigan. The LA Fitness closest to the campus is a Signature club which apparently is not my level so it would have cost $10. But happy with this one in Plymouth.

I hear them call members by name, they stop and chat with you. The instructors actually speak with you when you are new to a class or an event. You can ask questions and talk to them about anything. So far, since this is new I've taken the Arora yoga classes and the instructors are FABULOUS! There are classes for all physical capabilities with zero judgement on what you can or can't do. So far, the facilities used have been clean, in working order and good to go. There is plenty of parking for handicapped, motorcycles and other vehicles in both sides of the building. There is a small cafeteria with a nice selection of beverages, food, snacks and workout clothes. It is immaculately kept. I am not a fan of dressing and undressing in front of all, but that's the way it is. Not a fan. There is shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers. The sinks have feminine products, mouthwash, soap, lotion, shaving cream, deodorant, hair spray and hair dryers. If clients would stop taking products, there would be more than one like today. There is a eucalyptus steam room in the lockers, that was an experience, so good. There is a sauna, whirlpool, cold plunge, lap pool, indoor and outdoor pool. This place is family friendly. If you have children, look into their camps and facilities. The staff was very interactive and patient with the little lifers. You must try the hydro massage chair, there should be 5! It's wonderful, oh my goodness. All in all there is something for everyone at the one stop. I'm not sure if it's per COVID, but you need to reserve on an app called MINDAPP in order to reserve a time slot to go workout. They currently have around 12-18 stations depending on the day, with strength training every other day. There's generally only one person allowed per station, and early Saturday and Sunday classes fill up very early! Saturday is a 1 hour session, highly recommend reserving a head of time, Sunday concentrates more on abs The trainers are engaged with the clients and help them with the form and technique, and what I like about F45 is they are not a typical cross fit gym where they recommend swinging weights for maximum repetitions, but they care more about the technique so you don't get injured!

Let me explain why: Last week, my husband and I were attending a Fitness Solutions class. One of the other attendees of the class was wearing a mask that did not cover her nose. I spoke to the woman and asked her to cover her nose. She replied that her mask was too small. I told her that AFS has disposable masks at the front counter. She did not do anything. I alerted the instructor to the situation. He spoke to the woman. She pulled up her mask to cover her nose, but her mask slipped back down almost immediately. She was allowed to stay in the class without getting a disposable mask. At this point, my husband and I asked if we could go into the other classroom. When we did, we saw that this class contained a woman without a properly fitting mask and that her nose wasn't covered. We decided to leave, and freeze our accounts.
