The office threatened to call DCF during covid because the oral surgery wasn't done within the time frame they wanted, which was shitty, but we chose to come back for another visit a year later. What a mistake! Dr Alfano was such a d i c k when we politely declined the fluoride treatment, claiming "oh we aren't going to see you anymore--- I know more than Facebook" which is absolute bullying and so ignorant. If you value your children's teeth & your treatment as their parent and decision maker, this isn't the place for you. Least important is that the place hasn't been updated in the two decades we've been coming at all. The dolls are raggedy, and the decor vastly outdated. Again, not that important, but worth noting! We have heard wonderful things about Dr Bee Pediatric Dentistry in Land O Lakes so we will be making the drive to try him out. Can't be worse than Alfano!

Unethical practices, hidden schemes, and discrimination based on diagnosis! We booked an appointment…read moreat All Children's Dentistry with one specific goal: to safely remove two very loose front baby teeth for my son. Instead of addressing our primary concern, the clinic rushed to perform a dental X-ray and a professional cleaning, charging us $185 up front. They clearly knew our child's diagnosis from the paperwork beforehand, yet they deliberately chose to run these expensive procedures first, knowing they had no intention of extracting the teeth afterward. My son has autism, but he is incredibly calm and cooperative. He proved this by sitting perfectly still and following all instructions during both the X-ray and the lengthy cleaning. The dentist wasn't even in the room to witness his perfect behavior! She walked in only after the procedures were completed, glanced at his diagnosis, and immediately claimed it was "unsafe" to proceed without IV sedation (general anesthesia). To make matters worse, when we refused unnecessary general anesthesia for teeth that are already hanging by a thread, the doctor told us we could just go home and extract them ourselves! Suggesting that a parent perform a dental extraction at home because the clinic refuses to do their job is a shocking violation of medical safety and professional ethics. This clinic pocketed our $185 for auxiliary services, left my child with his painful problem, and completely wasted our time.

You would think that because I was one hour early they would fit me in as soon as my appointment time came, right?! So at 4:10 (ten minutes past my appointment time) there was no one coming to get me so I asked the front desk lady if she was going to tell Someone to call me and she said "Oh they are just cleaning the room" well, at 4:25 I said what are you guys doing to that room lol ... so she asked my once more what my name was and it is now 4:30, And the lady who was probably just gossiping in the back of the clinic came rushing to ask Me if I was ready! Well, don't come to this place because guess what, they don't care about your teeth health or well being, just your money and how much your insurance can be squeezed out!
