The office threatened to call DCF during covid because the oral surgery wasn't done within the time frame they wanted, which was shitty, but we chose to come back for another visit a year later. What a mistake! Dr Alfano was such a d i c k when we politely declined the fluoride treatment, claiming "oh we aren't going to see you anymore--- I know more than Facebook" which is absolute bullying and so ignorant. If you value your children's teeth & your treatment as their parent and decision maker, this isn't the place for you. Least important is that the place hasn't been updated in the two decades we've been coming at all. The dolls are raggedy, and the decor vastly outdated. Again, not that important, but worth noting! We have heard wonderful things about Dr Bee Pediatric Dentistry in Land O Lakes so we will be making the drive to try him out. Can't be worse than Alfano!

Once the dentist came in we were told new x-rays were needed even though we had ones from our previous dentist 6 months ago. Then we were told we needed some extra treatments. We declined and the dentist became very very defensive and tried into dating us into getting them. We left and got a 2nd opinion from another local dentist who said none of it was needed.
