Unfortunately that was at 3:30 a.m. so I had little I could do to get relief. I searched on Yelp and found this place that sounded like a great deal - I really felt like if I could just have someone massage my neck it would be better. I called right when they opened in the a.m. and they said they took walk ins and I could come in right away. The receptionist was very pleasant. I have been to numerous chiropractors over the years and they do have you watch a short video if you are not familiar with what it is about. I saw Dr. Nunez who gave me an adjustment. It really was great and helped; but didn't take away all of the pain and I still had trouble turning my head to the right. He used some cold therapy on it and gave me some samples of something they sell - a gel sort of thing. I really felt that this was a tremendous deal for $20. They have monthly plans that are very affordable and combination plans for several combinations of adjustments and/or massages. They advertised massage therapy for $40 an hour from a licensed massage therapist. I had to make an appointment but there was an opening at 4 pm the same day and since I had already taken the day off from work that was good for me. I went back in the afternoon and my massage therapist was named Persia. She was also wonderful. One of the best massages I have had and I really liked that she focused on my neck area knowing that I had gone in for an adjustment earlier in the day. The massage definitely helped a lot as well. By the next day I was 95% better and knew it could take a little more time considering how bad the pain was and the nature of it. Within 48 hours I was 100% better and could turn my neck to the right which was the only remaining issue after the adjustment and massage. I live out of state so the monthly plan isn't something I would sign up for but it sounds like a great deal for those who live locally and need longer term treatment. I also travel rather frequently to the area and will definitely go back again; definitely for the massage and for another adjustment if I feel I need it. I have insurance that covers chiropractic care but at these prices it makes no sense to even bother going through them since the deductible is more than what they already charge. I highly recommend both Dr. Nunez and their massage therapist Persia. The photo of the Dr. in this listing on Yelp is not Dr. Nunez but I know that they list another Dr. at this office so I expect it is likely that Dr. instead.

And boy am I glad I did! Dr. Pham and company are great people and have definitely taken care of me. The office is very clean and inviting. They are able to see me usually within 5 minutes of walking in the door. In the event that there is a bit of a wait though one can help themselves to a glass of water or a chai latte at the Keurig machine in the lobby. As far as the actual reason why I originally went to Happy Spine - I have a job that requires me to awkwardly lift 50-130lb objects for 10 hours a day. Back pain is unavoidable with my job.
