I've never experienced such non sense from a check cashing place. I came in with my checks. It was…read moremy first time here so I guess she needed to verify the check aka my work. She asked where I worked. I told her. She asked if it's open so she can verify the check with the owner or accountant. I gave her the number and my boss verified the check for me. Then she takes my check and walks away from the post and calls her boss then later tells me her boss can not verify the check. I don't understand why she even needed to call my work to verify if she wasn't gonna let me cash out in the first place. If calling my work place wasn't enough verification then why call in the first place? She wasted my time and my bosses time. And for her boss to not approve my check when he/she wasn't even there to look at it? Unbelievable. Don't waste your time coming here.

I asked both of them what about his check is altered? I asked why didn't you call the number on the check? There is a specific bank number and why would you tell one of your returning clients that has his ID on file that you're gonna call the police on him if they return a check ? Both Melody and Jennifer had different stories as to why it was "altered" After a conversation with Melody, Melody said that I can have the check back so I told Jennifer. Jennifer hands me the check BOTH OF YOU WOMEN can't do your job right Because I still wanna know what about it was altered... Perhaps these snobs on an ego trip were basing it on their clients looks. (Jennifer is not one to judge because her teeth tell a story) Because all it took was a phone call to get a random persons check back to me. The worst part is, I asked for the check and they just gave it to me. They didn't ask me for an ID and just gave it to me. Someone else's check was given to me!!! Why aren't you calling the cops?
