We left Rosewell, NM and stopped in Gallup, NM for the night on our way to Sedona, AZ…read more We had dinner at 305 Fire Pizza, a popular wood-fired pizzeria known for its authentic, artisan pizzas with a charred, chewy crust made from heritage grain flour and cooked in an 850-degree oak-fired oven. The restaurant opened its doors in December of 2024. We really enjoyed the following pizzas and recommend trying: *Hot Honey Pizza with plum tomatoes, pepperoni, Kalamata olives and their sweet and spicy 305 hot honey glaze. *Pepperoni cheese pizza (be sure to drizzle their 305 hot honey glaze). We had excellent customer service by our waitress Naomi. Jenny the owner, came over to check on our table and was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We really enjoyed sitting outside next to their fish pond and listening to the live music. Check it out when in the area! Happy Yelping :)

I was looking for a little spice but didn't get it with this pizza. Perhaps, the green chilis weren't mad today. My mom got the sweet corn pizza with the chipotle sauce on the side. Delicious choice if you're looking for cheesy and spicy. Downside, I noticed I was charged extra for the green chilis on my pizza when it was already on the menu description. The pizza restaurant is located on a one way street so additional parking may be needed if streets are full. Over all great pizza and worth checking out.

I got the Chicken Makhani with regular butter naan, and my husband got the Chicken Biryani. Both were seasoned and spiced perfectly--not hot, but with a nice little kick. The Chicken Makhani had a really yummy, rich tomato flavor. My husband really liked his biryani, but after trying mine, I think he actually liked mine a little more! The naan was incredible and probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. The biryani was a really nice, generous portion and a good choice if you're hungry. My meal came with a healthy portion of rice, and the naan serving was generous, although the actual portion of Chicken Makhani and sauce was relatively small. Our server was very nice, friendly, and respectful. They do take credit cards, but tipping was a little unusual. They preferred a cash tip, and there wasn't an option to write one onto the credit card receipt. Since we didn't have cash, they had to run the card again separately for the tip. Not a big deal, just something helpful to know beforehand. Water came in bottles instead of glasses, which we weren't expecting but wasn't a problem, and it looked like sodas were served in cans. It's definitely more of a small, casual restaurant than a fancy dining experience. We had also seen a buffet mentioned online, but there was no buffet when we visited, just the regular menu, so I'm not sure what the buffet hours are. Apple Maps also showed them open until 10, but they were turning off the open sign around 9:20, so I'd recommend coming a little earlier just in case. Overall, a great place to stop in the area if you want something flavorful and different from the typical road-trip food. 4.5/5.

The food is the real star. The butter chicken is rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, while the tandoori roti comes out hot with that irresistible smoky char. Their dal makhani is slow-cooked to perfection -- silky, comforting, and deeply flavorful. Portions are generous, so come hungry. Service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the prices make the experience even better -- excellent quality without the premium tag. Whether you're a longtime fan of Punjabi cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place offers an authentic, satisfying experience that keeps you thinking about your next visit long after the meal is over.

The food was typical roadside diner fare. I had the French dip which was really good with fries that were typical. Joy had the Soup and Sandwich with Santa Fe Chicken Soup, Grilled Ham and Cheese, that also came with a side salad. Joy tells me that the soup was more like a chili than a soup. The taste was good, but it wasn't what she was expecting. The sandwich good. It's really difficult to mess up ham and cheese! The one thing I really didn't care for was the "peddlers" walking around trying to sell trinkets like bracelets, arts and crafts, etc. Would I go again? Probably not.

A Filipino place in the middle of nowhere New Mexico?! I can barely get a good Filipino spot in a city like St. Louis and Gallup, NM has this spot? Anyway, I got here like 20 min before close and they were nearly out of everything. I ended up getting what was left of their pork adobo, a bbq pork skewer, a vegetable egg roll, and an ube hopia. The pork adobo and bbq pork were both made using good chunks of pork with some bits still having the skin and some still having the good marbling of fat. Either way it was delicious and 100% no complaints. The egg roll was a little floppy, but really hit the spot. No one would ever call it gourmet, but it hit the spot like only good "comfort" food would. The hopia was really dry though, I'd pass on that. If you have time, also hit up the Filipino market right next door for some road trip snacks!
