Pho Southeast is a clean, friendly, bright atmosphere that pays attention to detail. We appreciated the cute kids cups and the server giving our young daughter a chopstick clip to help assist her small hands with them. We also liked that the kid's pho had a shrimp option which I do not see here in So Cal Little Saigon.

Probably the best pho ga soup I have had. The soup was sweet and aromatic and had the right amount of flavor per spoonful. This hits the spot, the service was ok as they did not hear us out on what we needed to put on the side because the kids did not like everything in their soup. However the soup flavor wins the extra stars as I would say they just did it right. The egg rolls were great except for $8.50 I wish there were more than just 4 pieces from where I live it's usually 6. The 3 sizes of soup bowls is a nice addition also so you could choose based on how hungry you are. Overall check it out.

Fast and friendly service with plenty of pho and rice bowl options. Plus Bun Bo Hue which is always a must try, plus a rarity when visiting Vietnamese, the banh xeo! I have tried it all and will keep coming back!

I was pleasantly surprised by this Viet restaurant! They all taste similar in the Denver/Aurora area, but this place has one of the top broths. The broth had great depth of flavor and was so clear. This place also included meatballs in their Pho special, which isn't common for the area. Absolutely loved their Banh Xeo. It was light, crispy, and not oily. I would also rank this as one of my top 3 place to order. I do not enjoy most Thai teas in the area, but this might be my favorite... Strong tea flavor, not overwhelming by the dairy, and not overly sweet. Might I say... perfect. My only constructive feedback was that the avocado smoothie did not have a strong avocado taste and mainly tasted like iced milk. I'm not even sure if it was a real avocado or powder. Overall, the staff were so sweet and continually checked up on us. And the food is definitely something we'll come back for. Great portions. Great prices.

Stopped by while in the area and the reviews were good so I thought I would give it a try. The food was excellent and one of the best bowls of Pho I have had. The egg rolls were great as well and very fresh. The service was exceptional and very friendly. The inside is very clean and inviting. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

This place just opened 5 months now. Came here to catch up with some friends. The place is clean, nicely decorated, and staff all very nice and attentive. We started off with some spring rolls and recommended crispy tofu. The spring roll was a little lacking along with the sauce. Wasn't my favorite appetizer and I've had better. Although, the crispy tofu is definitely tasty. I would recommend that. The tofu is perfectly deep fried and was not oily or soggy. The savory onions and bell peppers paired well with it and the sauce. I liked it very much. We all ordered pho since it is a pho place. I ordered the rare steak and beef meatball pho. The pho came out hot. Broth was ok, but a little on the sweeter side for me. Pho noodles blanched well. The noodles and meat were enough for the price. They were not stingy with the quantity. This is a decent place I would say. I'd like to come back and try some of their other dishes and re-rate them. Wishing them the best of luck and great to see a pho place on this side of town.

Discovered this gem with a friend and we were blown away! The food was incredible - the bowls and spring rolls packed amazing flavor! Everything tasted super fresh, especially the beef in the spring rolls. Service was speedy and smooth. The ambiance was lovely too. We'll definitely be back!

Honestly, for a brand new restaurant, they are doing an excellent job. As a pho connoisseur, I do have minor gripes about the quality of the soup, but I can say it easily beats any of the pho we've had in Lakewood. Notes: Pho - Noodles: 5/5 proper square banh pho, not overcooked, perfect - Broth: 4/5, a little too much on the sweet side, and lacks some of subtle anise and herb flavor, but very tasty nonetheless - Meats: 5/5 quality sliced meat that's very tasty - Portions: 5/5 a very filling bowl, even with the small - Veggie plate: 5/5 fresh crisp bean sprouts, peppers, lime, even banana blossoms for the Bun Bo Hue Bun Bo Hue - Noodles: 5/5 - Broth: 4/5 A very tasty broth, but again a little on the sweet side and dialed down on the spiciness that I was hoping for, and only a very mild sense of the lemongrass. I want more chili oil and lemongrass up front. But the shrimp paste definitely comes through The cha gio was also very good, crispy and tasty, but among the best I've had in Denver. All in all, for a newcomer, they're really coming out strong. I don't know if it's the nature of the more delicate palate of the population of the suburbs, but I do wish they would commit a little more to the deeper authentic flavors of the broth, give it more spice, more heat. Doesn't change the fact that I will certainly be back next time I'm craving a bowl of soup and I'm in the area

If this is your first time going to a Vietnamese restaurant, especially a pho place, you will always want to order a small bowl of pho, preferably a kid's portion. If they don't offer it, tell them you just want a smaller portion because you want to try it but don't want to be too full, since you want to try one or two items on their menu. Why? This is my way of judging a Vietnamese restaurant: to see if the restaurant can make a good bowl of pho. For your information and in case you didn't know, the broth is what makes this soup special. It is what makes this soup so good, and I refer to it as "the soul". The fragrance from your pho should tell your brain and stomach that you can't wait to slurp up the broth and put the rice noodle in your mouth along with any meat you might have ordered. Once you squeeze and add the juice from the lime slices, swallowing the first spoon of this broth, you'll want to eat more. However, slow down and savory everything. Just don't rush eating it. Another thing you will need to know is that when you walk into a Vietnamese restaurant and if it's empty, it doesn't mean it's not a good restaurant, especially if the restaurant is just opened. You'll have to judge for yourself by ordering "the soul" dish first. You'll know. This is where my food journey to Pho Southeast comes into my review. Less than a month ago, when they opened their restaurant near Colorado Mills, they offered an 18% discount. This offer was good for a couple of weeks. I stopped by on a Tuesday and was greeted by a very nice server. Since I was picking up my food, we chatted while I waited for my food. As I looked around, there was one diner, and when he left, I thought this place would be gone as fast as it opened. Boy, was I surprised! That's why you never judge a restaurant based on diners alone. More about this later. As for my to-go order, what were the items I picked up from it? My co-worker ordered chicken fried rice, while I ordered the kid's pho with rare steak and meatballs. My co-worker, after eating her fried rice, told me "I will definitely be ordering this chicken fried rice again!" After finishing my pho, I was so full! Although there was not a lot of meat, the meat portion is perfect since this is a kid's meal after all. My other item was spring rolls. This dish came with two rolls and a peanut dipping sauce. I was full but had to try a little bit of these rolls, since they were made fresh. The dipping sauce was such a disappointment. Instead of it being "saucy", it was like dipping in a small container of glue or paste. Solid instead of liquid. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the roll. It contained some boiled pork and shrimp with some lettuce and vermicelli noodles wrapped in rice paper. It was really good! Side note: I did call the restaurant and let them know about the peanut sauce, and they told me to give them a try again after apologizing for their shortcoming of the sauce. I did come back that Friday to give them another try. To make up for the peanut dipping sauce, they gave me a free spring roll to try with their newly updated sauce, and this time, they delivered! The sauce was so good that I wished I had another roll to eat with it. I did try another dish: Vietnamese crepe. This dish comes with two crepes. The correct way to eat these crepes is to tear a little bit of the crepe, add the fixings, put both items on top of the lettuce, wrap it, and dip it in fish sauce. So good! Today, more diners were having lunch. I would say the restaurant was half filled. Since it was the last day of the discount, a group of friends joined me on Sunday for dinner where we enjoyed the crispy salt & pepper tofu (on the house), as well as shaking beef with complimentary buttered fried rice, beef noodle bowl with an added egg roll, and per my recommendation, my friend ordered the kid's pho and the Vietnamese crepes. Everything we ordered at Pho Southeast was delicious. One of the friends said this: "if everything is as delicious as this, this restaurant is a hit!" And yes indeed, they are that good! The ambiance was nice, well-lit, not too loud, clean, and I felt very w My review and journey stopped here for Pho Southeast, but not the diners. While we were here on Sunday, I would say the restaurant was almost completely full. Remember: when eating at a new restaurant, try your best not to judge by how many people are there in the restaurant. Instead, judge it by its food. Happy eating!

Well that's how I felt this morning, so VinaMeals was where I ended. I ordered two items, so join me and read my food journey... Just had bánh ít tràn, a Vietnamese, steamed sticky rice dumplings dish. This dish reminds me of my mom's cooking where she used to make us this dish all the time to eat for breakfast. Lots ingredients inside the these three dumplings including mung bean, wood ear mushroom, jicama carrot, onion, garlic, minced with pork and shrimp. It came with steamed bean sprouts, cucumber, and fish sauce to dip the dumplings or just pour over the dish. I felt the accommodating items didn't add any value to this dish, but boy, did these dumplings bring back good memory. Of course, when you are here, you have to get their small wonton soup. It is one of the best I have ever eaten. I believe the broth that is the star, and the wontons come very close but just a second too late. This small soup is very filling, and I always wonder if adding a bowl of plain rice into the soup will make this dish a complete meal. We will have to find out later. As I am sitting here writing this review, I am truly enjoying the atmosphere. Listening to the music over my head, I am sing a little bit too loud, louder than mouthing the words. My head is moving from side to side, and my feet are tapping. I found my happiness here even though we leapt/spring one hour ahead earlier today.
