    74. BBQ Chicken & Egg Rolls Vermicelli

This little unassuming joint In Watsonville... is outrageously fresh, tasty and wonderful! Great service. The BBQ is nicely smoky in flavor. It's going to be a craving - on the regular rotation for me.

I enjoyed my take-out pho from Pho Kitchen. The ordering process was easy although I find the 'ordering thru a tablet' to be a weird-modern-day dining experience. Anyways, it was a satisfying experience and I would recommend.

3.5 This place is our regular viet fix on this side of the hill. Next best viet food is in Salinas or San Jose.. Order at the devices on the entrance. Grab a number and find a table. Shrimp tempura were hot, crispy and juicy. The dipping sauce is a perfect pairing. Bbq chicken vermicelli bowl had good quantity of food. Came with fried roll and nuoc mam (fish sauce). Had plentiful amount of fresh vegetables and herbs. Juicy, succulent chicken. Bbq chicken rice plate was decent too. But as you can see could use little more quantity of meat. All in all decent place for viet food. Maybe slightly expensive than most SJ places but not bad.

A year later exactly since I've came in and I still love this place. You order first then seat yourself. The food is so good I didn't even have time to take a picture. Egg noodles are my new go to.

Pretty average pho, wish the portions were a little bigger for the price but definitely cures the craving. I always get chicken pho so it's hard to mess up. The bahn mis are really good too!!

What a pleasant surprise that we found good pho during our family beach vacation 10 of us met here for dinner, the place is clean, spacious and easy to find. We ordered using the kiosk which is easy, food started coming within minutes. All of the orders were well received, the fried egg rolls were crispy with very tasty shrimp and pork filling, definitely one of the best. The pho with 2-3 ribs was a great deal, combo pho, seafood noodles, vermicelli bowl kids pho and etc were all delicious and in generous portions. This is a great find, we would come again.

Ordered pork vermicelli salad, avocado spring roll, shrimp/chicken spring roll, thai ice tea. Salad and Spring rolls were fresh and crunchy. Great peanut sauce. Preferred the pork/chicken spring roll over the avocado roll. Thought the avocado roll was too rich and needed acid to break up the fat. Good portions.

Every visit here is an absolute delight! Whenever I'm in the area visiting my partner at work, this spot is a must. The service is seamless and incredibly modern you simply walk in, place your order at the self-service touch kiosk, pay effortlessly with Apple Pay or your card, grab a table number, and then sit back as your food is brought straight to you. It's efficiency and hospitality at its finest. Now, let's talk about the food--absolute perfection. The BBQ Chicken Vermicelli is packed with bold, vibrant flavors that hit all the right notes. My go to is the eye of round rare steak pho, and what really sets it apart is the option to make it spicy, something I always take advantage of. Every spoonful is a comforting, flavor-packed experience that never disappoints. This place is innovative, satisfying, and absolutely worth the drive every single time. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!

First time going to Pho Kitchen and I really liked it. I ordered their BBQ Pork Vermicelli Salad and their Brown Sugar Boba Matcha Latte. The pork was delicious and very well cooked. The salad was fresh tasted so delicious as well. The vermicelli was also really good. The food is light, I ate the whole bowl and I didn't feel heavy. It's a very healthy and light option. The boba was amazing. Not too sweet, the texture was just perfect. The place is also very nice. The service was great too. Im definitely coming back to try more of their menu.

Pho Kitchen Watsonville CA Sat 1/4/25 Delightful Pho discovery in Santa Cruz! Jalapeño garnish plate, come to papa! © I tended to some business in Aptos recently and being under the weather, craved piping hot Vietnamese Pho. There're not a whole lot of places to choose from in the Santa Cruz area, to be honest. So 4.5 stars average rating at Pho Kitchen intrigued me. Let's give it a try! Found this casual modern bright space to be delightful! Versatile options to dine-in, order takeout or take delivery. Tap to order! For walk-ins like myself, you order at one of the touch-screen kiosks with credit card payment or at the counter for cash. Then proceed to the brightly lit spacious dining room, and your order will be served in a jiffy! Just what I needed tonight! Napkins, spoons, chopsticks, everything you need, at the table! Here comes my appetizer, number 6. Egg Rolls ~ Deep fried egg rolls stuffed with pork & shrimp, carrot, taro, and mung bean vermicelli. Served with sweet chili sauce. Crunch away! Absolutely Pho-ntastic! number 47. Spicy Beef Noodle Soup "Bún Bò Huế" ~ Thick rice vermicelli with Well-Done Brisket, Tendon & Vietnamese Ham in Spicy Lemongrass Broth. Slurp away! Always served with herb garnish plate, full of delicious fresh Vietnamese bean sprouts, mint, basil, lemon, and of course sliced chile or jalapeño! It balances hot broth over noodles with crunchy bites, simply perfect! If you know me, you know I walk around with emergency jalapeño in my pocket! Laughing but true, you never know when you might need it! Vietnamese restaurant is the only place where it's all taken care of for me! My stuffed sinuses cleared pronto, whew, my upper respiratory condition cured! Looking forward to second plate of garnish! I'm a big boy, I need my sprouts & jalapeños! Swiftly brought up upon my request, no problem! Super polite staff, calm & quiet atmosphere at this hour, I was finishing my dinner at 8 o'clock, they close up shop by 8:30. I'm used to much later shutting times on the SF Peninsula or in the San Jose area, and we have tons of Vietnamese spots... but here in Watsonville / Santa Cruz, I understand they might not need to stay open too late for occasional lonely customer LOLz, so all's good, so long as I got there in time to get my fix! Driving home happy & satisfied! Thank you Pho Kitchen! Pure comfort! *The broth has got flavors That don't need hiding I love to get that pho When the broth be too strong I know that it's Viet But a soup everybody loves The cure if you're ever hungover, So baby, won't ya come over? Noodles were cooked perfectly, and the steak was tender with no complaints at all, just a really solid bowl of pho. The spring rolls were fresh and well-made, paired nicely with the peanut sauce. Simple but done right. Tried bun bo hue for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The spicy lemongrass broth had great depth without being too heavy or overly citrusy. Loved the mix of beef and pork, it made the dish feel hearty but still balanced. Only minor downside was the noodles, I personally prefer thinner ones, but that's just preference. Overall, everything was great. I was feeling a bit under the weather, and this meal definitely helped, light, comforting, and satisfying. My partner and I were seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon, which was a nice start. The ambiance is casual and relaxed -- nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and perfect for a laid-back meal. I ordered the BBQ pork and shrimp vermicelli noodles plus the spicy chicken wings as an appetizer -- both were delicious. Honestly, I would've ordered another round of wings if my noodles hadn't come out so fast. The vermicelli bowl was packed with flavor, and I really loved the sauces mixed in. My partner's pho was also really good, so that's another win. Plenty of seating for a hole-in-the-wall spot, with lots of parking which is always a plus. Prices felt fair for everything we ordered. And don't sleep on the boba menu -- the drinks were surprisingly good for the area. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Marina and in the mood for noodles!

We decided to give it a try and are now so happy we did. I got the veggie pho and my husband got the rare steak, meat ball, tendon pho. The veggie pho included tofu, mushrooms, bok choy and green onion, as well as a healthy portion of noodles. The full-bodied broth was absolutely delicious (I did add the accompanying spice from time to time). My husband was super happy with the bowl he had too. I haven't seen him get so excited since he last had pho in Seattle. The service was also wonderful. The younger cashier that took our order, brought us water and served our bowls of pho was super friendly and attentive. Additionally, my husband initially planned to order the vegetarian pho with meatballs added. The cook (possibly owner) came out to ensure that's what he wanted. He instead recommended the dish my husband ended up ordering and commented that it would cost us a little less money as well. I felt that said a lot about the establishment and its workers.
