Unfortunately, my experience couldn't pull in more than 1 star for me personally, as I was looking for organic :( First impression and good points is that they have a larger variety than a simple produce stand and they are located very close to exit off the freeway. Staff was less than welcoming, with 4 gentlemen sitting by the register at the entrance who seemed disinterested in their customers and annoyed (older man) when asked a question. I walked the whole store and couldn't find any organic produce. I asked a man stocking the produce if they carry organic and he shrugged and pointed me to ask the man at the front. (Hard pass since I knew how that would go and I didn't see any). I wasn't interested enough to look at pricing, so I am not helpful there, sorry. I left the market and saw that they have a fairly large garden space where they grow their fruit and veggies. Which would be great, but they are literally 100ft down a slight embankment from the I5 Freeway, so I imagine they are exposed to lots of emissions, etc. I added a screenshot of their location for perspective. I wouldn't recommend A1Ag for organic or even as a first choice despite their current rating, but I imagine there are a lot of folks who may love it.

The stand was run by a single lady who was friendly and answered our questions about all the produce she had out. Lots of the usual - strawberries, apricots, walnuts and more. There were some unusual (at least for me) pieces for sale such as the persimmons. This stand was also significantly bigger than a lot of the others we passed which I assume is due to DePalma being a bit more established. I didn't get anything but I did sample a few pieces of fruit and all were very good and encouraged by the lady running the stand. One of the people in my travel group also got a piece of corn that he ate raw and said it was "very sweet and delicious." It looked good and take his word for it.

There were things we liked about this fruit stand. It was notable that they carried many snack items (fresh nuts, many varieties of seasoned almonds, freeze-dried vegetables, dried fruits, etc). The bonus was, they had small jars to get samples of everything. We bought several as a result. Next, were their strawberries. Wonderful! Since it was May, I knew they were at their peak in sweetness. While everyone usually goes for the big plump ones, I found a half tray that had seconds, which I prefer. Seconds suffer in looks, but tend to be even more so sweet that the oversized ones, IMHO. These were a beautifully flavored variety and thoroughly enjoyed. We were on a honey hunt. There was a large variety of local honeys here. Loved that we could buy them in many different sized jars, including the cute honey bear squeeze bottles. They did not offer tasting, however. The two we picked were the blue sage and blackberry honeys. Both are great. Their Achilles Heel, sadly, were the baked goods. They looked good, but did not pass the taste test at all. We bought a pie and a couple turnovers. The strawberry rhubarb pie ended up tasting like cherry, and not even a good cherry pie. It had highly thickened filling, little sugar, and was lacking in any real fruit taste. This held true for the turnovers as well. Possibly some of the worst we have ever had. Sadly, everything ended up in the trash. Horrible. Stick with the produce and snacks. Nice quality and many choices.

There was asian woman and white woman at the front counter. The white woman approached and we requested. Then for some reason the asian woman responded with this attitude that it was fresh and brought out. I could tell she got irritated because she disappeared to the back and never seen. The white woman rung us up, but then you can tell she was brushed off with the same attitude of the asian woman and she rung us up so quickly to get us out. This was similar to our last visit from a year ago and I still remember that visit! Ambiance is great on the first minute before you enter with the aroma, but once you make contact at the front counter and make requests. Good luck! The 3 stars here is strictly the hopia and pandesal we bought that were amazing. The customer service was deteriorated by 2 stars. Just want to make that clear!

Tastes like a creamy condensed milk without the crazy sugar rush, not overly sweet. Went to the back and found an assortment of frozen foods. Grabbed a personal sized Smokey paneer pizza. Turned out quite good. Also got a Vadilal branded pista/pistachio ice cream. Certain places in the world have a floral-y - like taste to them and I think it's the cardamom. I notice it in some rose ice cream and this one has a more stronger floral flavor with the pistachio in it. Don't know if that's the cardamom. Quite pleasant though. Will probably come back to have another juice, checkout the marinated meats and grab a Dubai chocolate bar.
