The teachers are caring, competent, diligent and keep their students to the highest standards. They are trained educators who make sure each student is reaching their potential. I am an elementary school teacher myself, so I know how hard it is to keep little kids focused for over an hour after their school day. Both my sons look forward to going to their French class each week. I am amazed at the progress they have made in in French in such a short time. Neither my husband nor I speak French but we have been catching on slowly and we even help our kids with their weekly homework. I highly recommend EFSac for quality classes that are engaging and stimulating.

Statement to anyone considering enrolling their child at Loomis Gateway Academy…read more As a mother of a severely dyslexic child I feel a responsibility to share with our community that the director at Loomis Gateway Academy is falsely stating she is certified in Wilson Reading System. I have verified with Wilson Reading System (WRS) that the senior director is not certified in any WRS program. As parents of dyslexic children I find It incredibly disheartening that anyone would attempt to mislead our parents. The director, Tesa Briles is trying to pass off WRS course work as being certified in Wilson. As a certified Wilson instructor (Wilson Dysleixa Practitioner) and a mother of a dyslexic child I feel it is my moral obligation to advocate for the children and support the parents. Her statements are misleading and factually untrue. Parents who are planing on attending Loomis Gateway Academy now or in the future, please know that there are no certified Wilson teachers at Loomis Gateway Academy. Tesa Briles, or any teacher at Loomis Gateway Academy does not hold a certification in the Wilson Reading Program. You can contact Wilson Reading System at 18008998454 to verify that Tesa Briles is not a certified in any WRS program. When I started on this journey with my son six years ago I wouldn't have known the questions to ask. It's my hope that I can help educate parents and advocate for our children. It's hard enough finding the right help for our children without being lied to from the people we are entrusting to help our children. Please feel free to contact me through messenger or directly at Juliestarbird@gmail.com. Julie Starbird Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner

As an intuitive learner for reading I was not able to teach my son myself. I am disappointed that I did not move my son earlier as he was simply unable to learn in a traditional classroom. Just in case you are looking for a great ABA provider, this one is top notch!!…read more We have had several ABA providers over the past 9 years and with the exception of a handful of AMAZING behavioral therapists from the other facilities, Get Social! Is by far the best company we have worked with. The BCBAs, Social Leaders, program supervisors and therapists are exceptional! They have social groups, which is a plus! They actually follow through with what is being set up, discussed, needs to be done, etc. We feel heard during the parent meetings and valued. The therapists seem well versed and adjust the sessions to the kids needs each day. The BCBA is part of sessions, which we have never seen before unless highly needed or requested. The whole team seems to be educated for the needs of my kids, not a cookie cutter program.

She specializes in children with autistic spectrum disorders, but works with students with other issues as well. My son has been seeing Cindy for the past three months and his growth in that time has been tremendous. She is thorough, detailed and keeps data on everything to help you see your child's growth and to know when new goals are needed. My favorite part about working with Cindy is how she consults with me as a parent. She helps to teach me the ways to help my son so that I can implement it between sessions. Obviously, if I'm implementing things at home with my son it will stick better than if he only gets it once or twice a week. This is a major difference between her model and some other therapists. I highly recommend Cindy. She is knowledgeable, personable and dedicated to helping children grow to their potential.

My children's two teachers are great and they love going to school. The campus is also nice with a great big blacktop for the kids to play on, a field for soccer and a small playground. The school has a pretty seamless drop off pick up system considering the tons of kids that have to get picked up. I like the curbside drop off especially when the weather is bad. They have had some fun extra curricular activities like the Father Daughter dance, fall harvest festival, winter pancake breakfast and numerous field trips for the kids. We are having a great experience at this school.
