Locked r keys in r truck tried to use r insurance provided roadside assistance but that guy was cocky, had an attitude about us being from California and he wasn't able to open the truck !!! Called Phil's and the driver arrived and took him about less than a minute and he opened the truck !!! Phil's is definitely a high quality road side assistance !!! I have used this service a number of times. There is a competitor which no more need said. This is a small family business, and Star Wars fan..! There locks are well better than the dark forces. There strength is making the locks work. They now do electronic lock types for modern models that have chips inside the key. Their prices are very reasonable. read more

Soooo between my husband and I we stupidly locked the keys in the car while they were still in the ignition. We were at the Golden Post Office, so we walked over to the Coop to use the phone and an old fashion phone book. We decided on Phil's because it was "Closest." When the man arrived probably 15-20 minutes from leaving the Coop. It took him probably 2 minutes to "Break in" to my 2002 Jeep Liberty. I was finishing up business in the post office, and my husband was watching him. He got the door opened... and that was it. Nothing about wanting to see ownership/registration papers. He wanted his $50 preferably in cash, and he'd be on his way. Well When I asked if he'd take debit; he said he didn't have the machine. When I offered a check, and asked who to make it out too...He said, "Mike Brown" because he was the owner and he was going to go cash it because he needed some pocket money. I don't know if he was truly the owner, or just pulling one over on his boss, but either way I am here to yelp about this experience; and to tell everyone that I think this "Mike Brown" is a pretty shady locksmith. read more
