From the moment I called until I picked up my car, I had a great experience with Gerard's. I initially spoke with Frank and then Brian took care of me throughout the process. You can tell that they value their work even down to the waiting area inside the shop. There were freshly baked cookies and everything was very neat and clean. I feel like you don't often see that in automotive shops. They accommodated me quickly and were able to solve the problem with my trunk and I am so happy that's it's fixed. So when my wife's Tahoe started acting up I immediately called him to get some prices. I fully went to his shop and unloaded all the wife's stuff to get it ready to leave for him to get to it when he could. He was several weeks out and I was gonna have to figure out how to find the wife another form of transportation. He wanted to ride in it with me first and put it on his computer. He quickly told me after a short ride that it wasn't my transmission causing the shifting problem. After 30 min of research he was able to determine that my rear tires were more worn than the front and caused the rear to spin faster. And because the wife had it in auto, the computer couldn't figure out if it needed to be in 4 dr or 2 dr. Now anybody could have told me that it was the trans and I would have agreed. The vehicle had tell tale signs and was at about that mileage. But Brock was an honest man. I offered to pay him for his time and help. He refused. I shook his hand and thanked him and went on my way. I write this review because Brocks Transmission will have all my business from now on. And I will tell any of my buds and extended family where they need to go for their transmission problems. There are still honest people left in this world. And Brocks Transmission is one of them.

Just amazing! They went above and beyond. I came in on July 3rd with a flat tire because of…read moremultiple nail punctures on the side wall, rendering it unrepairable. They didn't have a tire in stock that fit my car so they ordered a tire for me to be delivered that same day. I was on vacation with my family and needed to be back to spend time with them. The problem was that I wouldn't be back until after they closed. So they allowed me to prepay and come after hours and get my key from a hidden spot. When I came to pick up my car I found the invoice and they had written a not on it. Apparently they had made a mistake and ordered the wrong size tire for my car. But in the shipment there was a higher quality and more expensive tire that would also fit. They had put that on my car at no extra charge. I am so grateful for these guys and highly recommend them.

Derrick Bradshaw Auto Body shop review…read more My goodness, how do I start? I moved to Hiawassee in 2024 and never needed a body shop until 2026 for my sister's car. [We won't go into what happened but it may have involved me!] She lives in Canton, GA. So, first of all, Derrick's prices are WAY below prices in Canton! My sister said if they need any further body shop work, she'll have it done by Derrick! The work he did on her car was great - you can't tell at all that there was ever damage to the car. I'll just say it cost less than $500 to fix! Whoever heard of that price for parts and labor? Derrick and his staff are great! They're just good people. The lady who answers the phone is really sweet and, if she doesn't know the answer, she'll get it for you. [I'm embarrassed I can't remember her name] I think I"ve been there three or four times to date. They're always willing to help and chatty. Today, I was there and asked Derrick if he knew someone who does sandblasting. Of course he does and gave me the name and phone number. What a help! Also, Derrick does some additional work at his choice. They told me they did the "body work" on several vintage stoves this year! They agreed to "fix" three metal drawers on my recently acquired Hoosier cabinet. He fixed dents and dings, primed and painted with car paint. Those drawers are set to last another 100 years! I am so appreciative! He really is an artist. So, obviously, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Derrick Bradshaw! I'm sure there are other great body shop guys in Hiawassee, GA but I am here to tell you, don't waste your time! Just call Derrick and get it done!

Still not done car sat there for a month. If he just called or told us he was not able to do it no problem. Went to get my car and he became extremely angry, he threw my key at my husband. He also followed us out of office and tried to attack my 77 year old husband. Not a professional way to own and run a business, needs anger management. Would not recommend this business to anyone.
