Red's Daug is a hot dog speciality place that has a permanent residence in the back corner area of the fair and expo center. I've had this a few times in recent memory from being here for flea markets and cheer competitions. Our most recent visit was during a Jurassic quest event. I personally ordered a chili cheese daug (I like how they don't use dog or dawg. Way to step op the creativity). My daughters got a few naked daugs (normal hot dogs). My oldest got a Chicago style daug and my wife went complete opposite and got a cheeseburger. Overall the food was solid. For the chili cheese daug they used a nacho cheese like substance which usually I'm not a fan of. But there's had a solid taste to it actually. So I didn't mind it. The kids all enjoyed there hot dogs and my wife said her burger which was dressed to the 9's was pretty tasty. Overall nice little concession that dosent have the same generic feels as other large expo center concession do. They have little tables outside of the stand and everything to give it the authentic restaurant look and feel. They are a tad bit pricey but you know that's to be expected when eating food at special events and shows.

Atrium was blasting some fabulous tunes while being parked outside of the bar and were quick and pleasant with orders. They had a few vegetarian options, from tater tots to what drew my eye- fried halloumi! What is halloumi you ask? It's a hard cheese from a variety of goat and sheep milk from the Mediterranean region of the world that is delicious. It does great grilled or fried. In this case this version was a take on mozzarella cheese sticks- BUT halloumi cheese sticks! This is a one up in any book! What a great way to make something we already know better!!
