We are regular shoppers at your establishment at the Ellis St. store, but visited your Erwin store…read moretonight...We were on our way in from a trip to Fayetteville today, and got the worst service we have ever had...We stopped in for just a few things on our way home and one of the items was not priced properly, as usual...There was a young lady at the self checkout named Amber...She hopped over to the customer service line to check out someone else, but we needed a price change on our item...We informed her of this, and she stated that "she would be back when she finished with her customer"!!! We did not get the item, so this resulted in a lost sale for your store!!! There were two other cashiers besides her that could have checked this person out!!! She completely ignored US and what WE needed...EXTREMELY RUDE CHILD!!! Another cashier tried to help us as much as she could, but to no avail!!!... she called over the speaker for assistance, and the person that could help was on break...I did not get the name of the employee, but she has grey braids in her hair and should be commeneded on trying to help us... I do not require special service, nor am I a KAREN....But I am from another generation, and know what true customer service means...It means that if I am spending money at your establishment, I should be treated a lot better than I was tonight!!! This morning I made the hour drive because my daughter loved the chocolate buttercream ones so much. I ordered two dozen so we could share with friends and I ordered online. There is a place to type your order (no dropdown for their flavors) and I was careful to type it myself. I paid for these online, but when I arrived to pick them up I added two more items, so a rather expensive bakery purchase over all. When I opened the box, I found chocolate filled instead of chocolate buttercream. I told the women that this is not what I ordered and I would like to switch them. The woman who was in charge asked to see my receipt and it said chocolate on the receipt. I told her that was not what I ordered or wanted. She said "well that's what it says on the receipt." And then she said "we can give you buttercream but you will have to pay for it." So obviously they had the chocolate buttercream and could have simply switched them out. I told them this was very poor customer service and a poor way to run a business. Especially for someone with a large order driving there from out of town. No one had touched the croissants. Unfortunately this was not the only bad interaction with this store. My first interaction with this establishment was when the nurses in my office ordered the filled croissants. I had never tried them at that point. We ordered a dozen each, submitted online in 4 separate orders. When the woman from our office who lives closest went to pick them up, they had packed them 24 to a box and refused to separate the orders. They made her PAY for the extra boxes and stand there and re-package them herself. If each of us had walked in and ordered a dozen, the boxes would have been free. They have tasty sweets but you can't be this rude and run a business. They have lost many customers today.
