We are sharing the cost with our tenants so wanted to understand who was paying for what. The owner Tim was immediately condescending and arrogant, and told me that my inquiry regarding a detailed breakdown was both "ridiculous" and "ludicrous" (his words). He went on to say that he's been "doing this for a long time", and the breakdown provided in the proposal is "how it's supposed to be done", regardless of whatever specific arrangement I had with my tenants. This was my first interaction with Tim, and had I been the company owner would have fired him on the spot. In my 30 years of working with contractors (residential and commercial), I have never been treated so rudely as I was by Tim, and to think that he is the owner of the company?!? He should never be placed in a customer-facing role, and I will be sure to NOT recommend Sign Fabricators to other business owners within my network.

(Little floral design was incorrect and still looks a little funky after their "fix"). Someone came in and said they like it better as if that's an appropriate response to delivering the wrong design. On top of that, there were no mounting holes on the sign... When asking how she was supposed to mount it, she was told they cannot do keyhole backs because of it being in Michigan and something with the wind.......?? What?!? Their solution was to drill holes through the piece and give us little covers.... NOT A SOLUTION and kind of a disappointing solution. The letters were also not "raised" they were cut out and glued to the main board... When I asked why, I was told it was because of the material used....... Why not use the other material and make the piece as discussed? Or at the very least say up front letters are just cut out and stuck on? Despite all the issues with the sign and poor customer service, the sign looks pretty good (hence the 2 star rating). Would not recommend anyone have signs made for their residence. They may operate a bit smoother for commercial customers, but our experience for this small project was awful from start to finish. Not worth the price for the product or customer service. If a business would prefer not to do some projects, it's okay to say you don't do them, but this was very disappointing. Glad to be done with them.

I realize i am not their biggest customer either but owning two businesses and one of them being real estate i know a lot of people that use yard signs, photo-prop signs among other things. So while my $225 order wasn't huge i could have been a long term Customer that sent referral after referral. I explained why i wanted the banner and how i expected it. Trying to get a feel for an 8 foot by 8 foot banner on their program is laughable. Trying to get a feel for spacing compared to real life is not even a possible. When i paid mid June i believe, the person who i was working with (who remain nameless) was too busy. So i talked to two women they ran back and forth asking questions what ever, Got done. My hand held double sided sign was done in a couple days off with out a hitch. They said production was slow banner would be ready in a week give our take. Finally got it on 7/31 which i wasn't in a hurry but paid in advance and clearly was forgotten i feel like. Anyways i have a banner that is 64 sqft and useless. The whole point was two logos on each picture at least. Some items i will be taking pics of are 6x3 inches some are 3 feet long so wife variety of shapes and sizes. When i picked it up a 14 year old boy was the one that helped me again running to the back asking questions didn't ask if i was happy, didn't open and show me, sign and leave. No follow up phone call or email just a very underwhelming unpleasant experience. I will not return, i try to always shop local and with people i know, but you still have ya provide a good service to those people wether they be friends, family, acquaintances.
