Robert returned my calls and showed up for the inspection on time. Robert and his team of three addtional inspectors provided fast service on sight while still providing a thourough inspection and comprehensive report. Since I was out of state, Robert provided me with a verbal summary immediatly following the inspection. He then sent a full report through my email. He went the extra mile by providing me with a list not of not only any issues that a lender may require to be corrected, but also notations of things to reduce any future problems such as extending the water gutters further away from the house. As an engineer I respect these notes for things I can easily do to keep the house in tiptop shape.

We hired Nolan Swanson on the recommendation of our realtor to inspect a house we were considering…read morepurchasing. We requested they really dig deep to see what they could find wrong with the house. Not only did they not identify many issues with the house but they said it was is good shape. They were to inspect roof, electrical, HVAC, appliances, etc. They mentioned the gutters might need to be cleaned but not a single issue with the roof. The roof wasn't in good shape and on the first rain, one of the bedrooms flooded. (see pictures below) Overall, we were told the house was in decent shape. NOT TRUE AT ALL!! Some appliances weren't working, the electrical was so bad we were afraid of a house fire, HVAC not working properly, drain issue, toilets not working, the list goes on and on. So many issues are wrong with the house and we have spent thousands of dollars trying to make the house livable. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this company.

Nolan understands this as well and ensured the reports had as much detail as possible!! I had two inspections completed on two different homes and I felt like I was the one doing them. After the completion of both I knew the inside and out of the homes. The first one actually made me reconsider my offer due to hidden moisture damage. I highly recommend his work!! Great price and completed the inspection the day I called or within a 48 hour time frame. Thanks Nolan!!

He quoted a fair price. He made good recommendations for the gutters on my house. And he worked his butt off (we have very high gutters). He cleaned up the area. Look... trusting someone to work around your car or your house is to me, 90% of the battle. You get a guy with integrity, you do not have to question the motive behind a recommendation. Bryan is that guy. He even sent a thank you card. This is service, something often lacking today.

Since I work from home, I decided it was time to have a dedicated electrical outlet installed for my office AC unit. I remembered that Foster Electric had installed an additional outlet in my kitchen back in 2022, and I was very pleased with their work then, so they were my first call. They provided a reasonable quote, and the very next day they sent Mike and Hayden to complete the installation. Mike and Hayden were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient from the moment they arrived. My home office is located on the second floor, but they quickly assessed the situation, determined the best way to run the new circuit, and got right to work. The installation was completed faster than I expected, and the finished work was clean, neat, and professionally done. As an added bonus, while we were chatting before they left, I discovered that Mike and I share a love for heavy metal music--even some of the same bands! It's always nice to connect with people who not only do great work but are also genuinely friendly. I am extremely satisfied with the entire experience and would not hesitate to call Foster Electric again.
