I normally don't complain about things but this business warrants attention. We got one key given to a 2023 car? Where is my other key fob floating around ? Also didn't have title yet to car we bought ; they wanted us to put a temporary tag over our tag. Nope! That got straightened out . Got home cranked next day warning light came on check safety restraints! It needs a $1200 air bag. Don't believe anything they say. Also low balled our trade in and have it listed for over $7,000 what they gave us. Two weeks later still no title! Never had this kind of experience before. BUYER beware! Undisclosed Accident Damage: My salesman assured me the car had a "clean history with no records of damage." This was a lie. After the sale, I discovered clear signs of a prior body repair (chipped paint, polishing compound). I then paid for a CarFax report that confirmed prior accident damage, directly contradicting their claim. 2. Immediate, Costly Safety Repairs: Within two days of ownership, the vehicle had a significant vibration above 70 MPH and pulled to the right. I immediately had to replace both rear shocks and get a full alignment because the vehicle was "significantly out of specification." I spent over $300 correcting basic safety issues that the dealership should have fixed or disclosed. I also found an aftermarket label on the rear bumper, confirming the damage. 3. Unprofessional Customer Service: The process was poor from the start (only one key, missing wheel locks). When I called to complain about the immediate repairs, a staff member named Kevin accused me of getting a "deal" where the dealership made "no profit," an outrageous and unprofessional response after I just spent hundreds of dollars fixing their car. I had a lot of problems with a 2021 Yukon XL with the 3.0 diesel engine. I did not buy it here and they have fixed it about 4 times whenever the check engine light comes on. they have worked and tried so hard to fix it and this last time they did nearly 20k in work replacing a lot of parts to get the vehicle fixed and so far no issues. I would not hesitate to buy a vehicle here or worry about warrantied parts on your car. This place has been great to me and I just think people should know. Also the staff has been really friendly. Even once a service technician called me personally which they don't do often to explain what he was doing and why. Anyway it's a stand up place with good people from my experience. read more

What started out as a great experience has since become the experience of auto dealership nightmares. Literal sleep loss Bought a used car, assured it had a 100+ some odd check. Sure it did, I purchased the car nearly 2 months ago and have only had the displeasure of driving it 4 times. All other days it has been at the dealership, in the shop. I've taken over a week off work to deal with this nonsense. Do I have the car back, nope. My first payment is due and I have paid my auto insurance for a car I don't have. More than 6 weeks in the shop. Getting updates is like pulling teeth without getting numb. Painful, unacceptable and sucking the life out of me. I have picked it up 3 times. Each time with 100s more miles on it. Dirty, not even taking the time to have it washed. What have they offered in return? NOT A DAMN THING. Oh yea, they offered me a tank of gas!! I had a Kelley Blue Book Cash offer for 3 local dealers and Phillips was one of them. They and one other dealer actually contacted me about the offer, the third didn't bother. When I went here, Brent helped me out. He was super nice and helpful. After checking out my car and speaking to the sales manager, he told me that if I wanted the full value listed in the offer, that I'd do better at the other dealer (It's a used car shop, not a big dealer). I wasn't planning on trading it in or purchasing a new vehicle. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the fact that they'd be so up front with me. Most dealers try to drag you along or talk you into something. While I didn't end up doing business with them (I went to that other place and they did give me what I wanted for the car), I now have a great impression of this dealership. Our vehicle lease was maturing and we decided to buy the car. We were advised in Florida you have to go to the dealership to get payoff amount, you can't do online. We had our bank call in advance to try and get figures. Were told we had to meet at the dealership. Upon arriving they told us we first had to meet with a salesman who tried to either get us to look at another car or talk about financing through them. Finally after a half hour delay and our saying we were leaving we got to meet with the finance guy. It only took him about 5 minutes to get us the payoff amount. Looking over the closing disclosed they charged us a $799.00 administrative fee which he said was non-negotiable. They certainly lost our future business. read more

I recently purchased a 2013 Mercedes E350 Convertible site unseen a few months ago September 2022 I believe. Huge mistake, I was told there was no body damage and it was in great condition. No, front spoiler paint was cracked and touched up, behind the rear seats the hard plastic is cracked, window control buttons vinyl coating is peeling off, steering wheel has vinyl covering coming off sterling wheel controls and cup holders has silver trim peeling off. I gave top dollar for the car because the sales associate stated in was in great condition, no he did not state the truth. read more

We felt absolutely no pressure during the negotiation on the price of our trade in and the price of the car we were buying. It was a pleasure to work with Scott and T. All of the "paper work" was completed quickly, and before we left our car was washed and filled with gas. May wife and I were grossly over charged ....We were shopping for a 2nd vehicle in the 15-17K range. I had researched, pricing of Totoya, Honda & subaru. We stopped by Phillips Buick-GMC Truck on US441 in Fruitland Park. We were greeted by MarK Bonner a salesperson. We explained what we were looking for in a price and mileage range. We were shown a 2015 Subaru that met most of our needs. We gave a tentative offer and were about to test drive the vehicle. Mark went to get the keys and returned a few minutes later with a "Great" deal on a car that had "Just come in". We were shown a Buick Enclave that had the mileage we were looking for and was very clean. Here's where he "GOT" us, we trusted him based on the pricing of the Subaru, so the price quoted I assumed was within limits. I knew nothing about Buick Pricing and after paying cash for the car we went to our bank to refinance the car. The bank told us that the highest NADA value was 2/3 of what we paid for it. When we found out our parents had paid $14k in cash, plus two trade-ins (one was a 2016) and taken out an additional $22k loan for a 2016 Buick Verano - a 3 year old car at time of purchase, we were obviously concerned and hoped the dealer would acknowledge and review the deal for some sort of compromise. They paid between $40-50k for a used car. The dealer was completely rude and blamed our parents for agreeing to such an exhorbitant fraud. It's legal to defraud seniors-therefore they don't care if they do it! Also found out thanks to another user they have a D minus rating with BBB. Too late for us-we already got robbed - 3 times more than the car was worth! And it's had extensive repair work too! read more

The worst experience ever..........been inquiring about a truck for a week, communicating with them about price etc, which they confirmed. I even went to their website and looked at the truck, advertised price and options. They kept calling for me to go out there, I'm an hour and 1/2 away so it's not the easiest thing. I took the time and drove all the way out there, they pulled the truck up and they told me the price adjustment or market adjustment which is about $10,000 above MSRP, never before telling me this nor is this the advertised price they have on their web site. This is what gives car dealers a bad name, as this is not only false advertising, it's misleading the consumers and price gouging. The public won't forget. read more

I saw a lot of negative reviews on Yelp so I have to admit that I was convinced that I was going to be leaving the dealership without making a deal. I only went because they had a vehicle that I really liked. My experience there couldn't have been more different than what I was expecting! It was a pleasurable experience from start to finish. And, I have a lot of car buying experience! It started with our salesman, Gilbert Niblack, who was polite and attentive to our questions and desires. Good so far, but we were dreading the negotiations. . But, that went great as well. I could tell that we were getting a good deal with their first offer, but the manager still indulged us and let us feel good about getting them down a few hundred more dollars. Then, off to the finance guy, Peter, who got us in and out quickly and painlessly. He even was not pushy about the extended warranty which, by the way, we took because it was twice as good as one Carvana offered for a comparable price. I tried to call the parts department on a Saturday, multiple times, and kept getting bounced back to the receptionist because nobody answered. I was told there is only one employee working on Saturdays so I decided to take the short drive down to the dealership. The gentleman in the parts department was very helpful. I then went to the service department and was also pleased with the service and info they provided. The hourly rate for service and repair seems very high to me so if it's something that can be done by a local mechanic I'd probably recommend that but if it's something only a dealership can do I'd have no problem recommending Philips Buick GMC, based on my experience. read more

Just bought a used truck from this company. I live 50 miles away so I couldn't get my mechanic to check it out. I drove it home and to my mechanic to inspect. He noticed a radiator leak. Gave it to him to fix and during the remaining inspection he said it was unsafe to drive since the ball joints were about to fall off. Called the dealer/salesman and was told since it was listed "AS/IS" sale they weren't responsible therefore --"BUYER BEWARE". To me that means anything you buy here could kill you driving home. It will cost me $1600 to make it drivable with radiator & steering repairs. If possible I would give them a NEGATIVE three star rating. Stay as far from this place as possible. read more

We had been contacted by text that they were needing more 2016 Buick La Crosses, like the one we had leased. We test drove an 2018 Envision SUV, but it did not have what we were looking for. Took a ride in 2019, could maybe live with it. When they told us the deal, we refused and asked for our car keys. The salesman (Ed) said we couldn't do that, he had wasted an hour of his time with us and expected a deal. We asked for our keys again, he jumped up muttering under his breath, got the keys and throwed them at us. We have now gone to the Lincoln dealership and purchased and SUV for about the same price. read more
