We had limited time as we planned to cross into Canada and had to do so within 72 hours due to Covid testing requirements at the border. Bosselman couldn't take us on Saturday but offered to see what they could do on Sunday morning first thing. We were there about 1/2 an hour early and all their staff showed up at least 15 minutes before they opened. Right at 9 they took our coach in and within 1 hour Mark diagnosed the issue, changed the gasket, checked all the plugs and bolts and had us on our way. We are so thankful that they were able to help us and that the work ethic in the Midwest is alive and strong. That certainly isn't the case in many other places! He took the car to be checked and was told it would need a new engine. When he called the dealership to talk to them, they were completely nasty. The salesman, Mick, was ubnoxious and kept saying he didn't believe the mechanic. He insisted my brother take it to someone else. After taking the car to 3 different places, one of which they specifically told him to take it to, Mick still refused to believe the car had any problems. He refused to let my brother talk to the manager and even threatened to have me arrested when I said I would come in to talk to the manager in person. What legitimate business does that?!? In the end, my brother is stuck with an expensive paperweight. The car died on the way home from the third garage and no longer runs. My brother was finally able to talk to the manager after I reported them to the BBB. He was rude and offended that we had reported them. He offered to replace the engine with one that had nearly twice the miles on it and we would have had to pay another $1,000 for that. Their owner also owns a Salvage yard, so why would we trust that engine or their skills at replacing one?? My brother offered to return the truck in return for a refund of $10k (less than he paid) and they refused. Horrible company, horrible people, avoid at all cost!! The people are nasty and abusive and do NOT stand behind the cars they sell. They claim to sell "highly reconditioned vehicles" but refuse to help when something goes wrong. I have no idea how they've managed to stay in business for so long. Save yourself a lot of time and money and avoid this place.

From the minute I arrived at Kars Inc., I felt more comfortable than I did at any other car lot I had gone to. Instead of walking up and feeling closely watched and followed by the workers, Tom approached us on the lot, asked us if we had any cars in mind we wanted to look at, and directed us straight to the Cobalt. The process of taking a test drive was a dream. Tom made a photo copy of my driver's license, and let my mom and I take the car for a test drive on our own. I always feel uncomfortable when car dealers come on the test drive, because I would feel like I couldn't make comments on things I didn't like about the cars. It was a real treat that Tom let us take our time to get to know the car on our own so we didn't feel pressured. We ended up buying the car that day! When it came to the wheeling and dealing of prices, Tom let us name the price we wanted to sell my current car for, instead of forcing one upon us. Once I was home, I noticed that my car was leaking water in the passenger's side when it rained. I called Tom about it, and even though my car wasn't under warranty, he and his fellow employees worked endlessly to figure out what was causing it, and fixed the problem without me having to spend a dime! It turns out one of the lines from the sunroof was blocked, which was somehow causing water to come in... I'm not a car expert, so I don't remember all the fancy lingo. Tom felt so bad that he didn't catch this problem before sending the car home with me, and told me that if it ever gets blocked up again, I should bring it in and he will clean it out for me. I also worked with a few of the other employees at Kars Inc. here and there, and I'm bummed I can't remember their names, because the entire experience was great. Everyone was so kind, and I knew that I was buying my car from honest people who put absolutely no pressure on me for anything. I HIGHLY recommend checking out Kars Inc. if you're in need of a car!
