Pump didn't have a working receipt printer - out of paper, most likely. Plenty of pumps, though. Shop inside has a lot of snacks and drinks, and the Wendys around the back way is excellent for hot food. read more

This is the only gas station on site at the DEN airport, and it's great! Outside there are lots of pumps, I never had to compete for one and went once after I got my rental car for snacks and once on the return to refuel. Great experience bit times! Inside they have tons of coffee options and food options! They have hot and cold, healthy and non healthy. They have tons of cold drink options, I love the sparkling water and kombucha. They can get really busy inside so you have to pay attention. They have 3 cashiers and 3 self checkout registers, so you shouldn't have to wait in line. Every time I checked out people were waiting in line for one register and I just went to the other cashier or the self checkout because honestly, why would you choose to wait in a line? Morning staff was wonderful. They were so friendly , helpful, and knowledgeable. When I returned at night I could tell why the late night/graveyard shift wasn't allowed to work during the busy times-definitely a difference in quality. I hope you get to experience this place in the middle of the day to see it operating at peak and pleasant performance! Lastly, bathrooms are getting remodeled-yay! So sometimes you have to use the portable potties out front. Not ideal, but will be great when the bathrooms are done! read more

There's a lot to like about this Phillips 66, including the great location near the Denver airport, the many fuel pumps, the fancy convenience sales area, the good selection of on-the-go foods and drinks and the easy access to the adjacent Wendy's and the Final Approach food court. An absolute fail and the irony of it is that it didn't have to be. But due to a moronic combination of really sub-par design and no one maintaining the pump operations, I can very much recommend that you do not plan to get gas here before returning your rental car. The location of this is just before the car rental return. And just like Denver International Airport, it is way out in the middle of nowhere. So it is kind of a "last chance for gas" trap, especially for rental car returners. But they built it on property the size of a postage stamp. Whoever approved that as a good idea should be taken out to the back forty and put out of our misery. If you decide you want to leave and fill up somewhere else you are going to pay a toll to get back on the highway and you will drive at least 10 miles to find the next refuel option. Do yourself a favor and fill up in Brighton or just about anywhere before the airport. There are probably 20 pumps which seems like it should be plenty. It is not. Probably the biggest issue is the lack of space and signage directing traffic flow. This results in cars coming in from all directions so there is absolutely no directional flow. It is every person for themself to maneuver to an open pump and this results in a lot of angry motorists, honking, impressive hand gestures, impassable traffic jams, etc. If you are familiar with Costco gasoline lines, this is very similar but without any rules so be prepared to engage in your best Mad Max impression in order to secure some gas. Perhaps it is a good idea to take out the full insurance on the rental car here so you can nerf everyone else out of your way and not worry about it. The other issue is that the underground tank fill area is located in the driving thoroughfare so as I'm filling up, you guessed it. A huge tanker comes to fill up the underground tanks and is now blocking 50% of the drivable space leading to the pumps from one end. Talk about a comedy of errors. People that were full could now not exit the pump and people waiting to get to the pump were now blocked. While waiting to leave I spoke with the tanker driver and he told me they do this sometimes several times per day and all of the drivers hate pulling this station to refuel because it is so difficult to maneuver due to all of the issues above. Both of the above issues could have easily been dealt with if proper planning and design had occurred. It obviously did not and it would seem that the persons responsible for establishing this fuel outpost went with the lowest bid design firm employing the lowest IQ designers. And worse, it is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by grassland. Someone easily could have designed this with just a little more space in mind and there would be zero problem now. The 3rd issue for me was that it was clear that no employee of this place is helping to monitor the pump operations. As I pulled into my first pump and got out to pump gas, the screen read "out of order". I wondered why the guy in front of me at the pump was so quick to leave. But no employee had taped or coned it off so after I pulled away to navigate the death crawl to another pump, I watched multiple cars pull in just like I did all to be frustrated because it appears to be an open pump to everyone coming in. The final straw was after I did finally get my fuel, the pump asks if I want a receipt. I did since this was a business trip fill up. After pushing the "yes" button, no receipt comes out as the pump screen wishes me to "Have a nice day!" It was a fitting final insult towards me from this ridiculous excuse of a gas station. read more

All the times I have come to Denver Airport- never knew this place existed! Clean clean bathrooms, lots of law enforcement to keep you safe when you are picking up arrivals very late at night, and lots of snack selections. Have to say- this is my go-to place whenever I come to Denver Airport moving forward! read more

VENUS!! My family got in an accident that totaled our car in a blizzard! We were stranded for an hour without help because there were a ton of crashes around the airport. We walked to the gas station & explained our situation to Venus. She did not hesitate to help!! She called her friend who happened to be an uber driver & had him drive to the gas station to pick us up. The gas station was very busy, yet Venus went out of her way & took her time to help us, while efficiently working the cash register to help others. I don't know what we would've done without Venus' help, as it was nearly impossible to find a driver/rental car/anyone else to bring us to where we needed to go! We can't thank you enough, Venus! You brought customer service to a whole other level. Our Uber driver was also amazing!!! read more

One of the nastiest gas stations on the planet. Sad that it's a welcome spot for Denver outside the airport. Their restrooms are horrible. Stalls and urinals out of order. Paper towel dispensers out of order. Mold on the ready to eat food shelves. Trash, grime, and dirt everywhere. I'm surprised the health department hasn't shut them down. The other review is super valid because I too was here to refill my tank before heading out. I hate how FAR the shuttle cars are from the actual airport. What a mess. This is the closest gas station in the middle of no where. I appreciated it at the time, but it still was a ways to drive! Safety issue at this location. Was verbally attacked by staff member as I gave her the wrong pump number when paying cash. I was tired from airport travel and gave them pump 6 instead of 16. I realized my mistake and pulled the car to pump 6 where it seemed an empty car was parked. I went back in to the store and spoke with female employee #2. Female employee #1 heard this and immediately started screaming at the top of her lungs "I told you 3x that we are not responsible for lost money (no she never spoke to me and seemed pissed when we started) ....my kids do this to me all the time! you can't do this to me!" It's always frightening to see someone lose it like that. She continued screaming in a way that made it next to impossible to talk to female #2/no other business could be done. I bent over to speak to the calm cashier and said look I think I can talk to you. I handed her a hundred dollar bill (as the screaming lady demanded I pay again- given the circumstances I was MORE than willing to pay to get out of there.) Female #2 did not want to take the money. Female #1 continued screaming. Other customers could not conduct their transactions. I went to move my car again as I could not park in 6/by then 6 was open. What I didn't count on was female #1 to follow me outside and call out/from some distance "hey you, followed by a very long and repeated curse words. I don't know how she had any voice after that. Upon reentering the store a 3rd time female #2 unlocked gas #6. If I would have had more than fumes in my car I would have driven away. I went to this gas station because it was the only one I could find. Mind your safety and your vehicles and skip this one. female #1 is hunting for sport.
