And these young people work at it too. No participation awards, you put in the work to get the results! But it's the mentorship quality that any good teacher should have that makes a class special... This martial arts class has it! From my observation Master Thomas created a community that should have a good legacy. UMA will push your child to be their best on the mat with focus and discipline, and those skills are transferable to their school and home.

In all honesty, when we first signed up neither the kids, nor I, knew what to expect. It has turned out to be one of the most amazing experiences of their childhood and my life! Master Norton's skill as a martial artist and his very cool way with the kids is more than we could have ever expected. I'm not a social media guy, or one to write reviews, but this review I write with pleasure as a way to thank him for what he does for my kids, for me, and for all his students. Thank you Master Norton! And a note of thanks to the other instructors as well. Job very well done! Robert Hibbert

Plus you can pay a few bucks more to use the workout room yourself. I did this and used the machines for my own workout while I waited for my son. What drew me to Sidekicks was the fact that Master Brian has been in business for 20 years and he offers classes in both the morning and evening. Your child can attend as many classes as they wish with the one monthly fee. This is the only activity my 15 yr old son truly enjoys. He loves watching his muscles grow larger and the fact that his abs are starting to show a "six pack". He has been attending for 1 1/2 yrs now and has not only grown more fit but is also thinking and eating more healthy.

The instructor, Steve, is awesome and very patient with the kids. And I love how he always relates the Jiu Jitsu lesson to the real world. Can't wait to continue our journey here.
