The Phillips 66 on Stadium in Columbia on the same side as Culvers in Missouri, is a real mess…read more This company hires just about anyone to work there. An obese black guy with nappy hair, didn't care that the carpet in the store was rolled up too tightly on one end, which could have injured a customer. I heard him tell the lady in front of me, that "he didn't know anything about that" pertaining to her almost tripping over it. The lack of professional appearance, and the lack of a professional concern is appalling. I've seen too many situations where companies hire ghetto employees who are extremely lazy and unmotivated, rather than professional employees who care about their job, their appearance and their customers. No one should deal with a lackadaisical attitude, especially when someone could get injured. The way he talked to that customer had my jaw on the floor. He could care less if someone got hurt. How do you work somewhere and yet you have no clue why the carpet was balled up on one end? I'm sure he would care if his company faced a lawsuit as a result of an injury, and his lazy rear got fired. This is what happens when companies hire anything breathing.

Jeremy, Hope the two most rudest of all!!…read moreHope, I believe is Assistant Manager, there is not one day that I go in that store of the mornings and here her cursing any and everyone, she talks about the employees, she talks about people, she talks about her personal life in general and often exhausts people with her constant complaints of how she's juggling Uber and having to come in and work at 66. She constantly complains about something!! I understand the burdens of a hard life juggling two jobs, what I do not understand is that you have someone within your establishment that should be working with you, yet instead I find (I'm not alone) that she is working against you! Constantly complaining and cursing! My concern is, why would your establishment employ a manager (Will) that stands by and listens to the constant rants, raves, & poor vocabulary coming from this adult woman's mouth?? This has me completely stunned! Then there's Jeremy, who is rude (without cursing, because that stays within management) Jeremy usually observes those he feels that he is superior too, and therefore talks down to them in casual ways of course! He often (not always) lays the change down closest to himerefore leaving some customers to reach across the counter to pick it up, keep in mind, im not a beggar for my own money, it rude and I've actually witnessed him do this to several other people as well! To many people use this location as a convenient place to buy things of need etc, myself being one.. but if this continues, I will most definitely start going to the BreakTime across the street, because wasting gas is so much more convenient and mind easing, than continuing to listen to the constant course of complaints with the "F" word etc and being treated as if I were below them! Again I question the management skills and training of the manager who permits this kind of behavior in front of the customers?? I hope your establishment realizes that there's many many nice kind people out there, seeking employment opportunities that would gladly step up and be kind to people! Also at this location is, Sarah, Mike, Shawn and Jaryd in which have absolute beautiful people skills, they work hard and treat customers with kindness! Just remember that each time you lose a customer, you also lose revenue and profit...And if I juggled the numbers verses what this store could bring in without all the chaos mentioned above, then sales at this specific location, would soar... Now let's think on the level that location loses customers simply due to the fact of poor customer service and management skills sales would drop tremendously.... You know this and I know this, Jeremy most definitely doesn't know this, (your manager Will, assistant manager Hope, should know this yet it's not of importance because if it were, then I would not being writing this review. Poor customer service goes like this, one customer alone can spread this experience to many many ppl, and they spread it to others and so on... I ask that the DM looks into this matter, please and thank you.
