Came out to look at a panel "a bad main breaker" for my home here in snowflake, rewired things to buy time for parts, left me with no ac or water heater, have received no word on time dates or anything this is the 5th day without those things would highly recommend avoiding this company at all cost read more

We feel Stratton Electric took advantage of us. We called for them to come out for the annual tune-up of our generator. The first repair person said he didn't have a manual but hoped he had set everything correctly. It was working before he touched it, then it wasn't working. Stratton sent out 2 more repair people, and it was decided the control panel was burned out. We know it was not burned out when the first person came out because it was working perfectly. Stratton then charged us $435 for another trip charge to diagnose the problem, then another $1232 to replace the control panel. Phil told us that he would come up with a fair solution. He "magnanimously" reduced the trip charge by $285. We had no choice but to have them replace the part, since my husband is a disabled veteran on oxygen. We ended up paying $500 for the tune-up and $1373 for the repair. The most ridiculous and insulting part was Dawn Stratton acting indignant that we think they did something to our generator. Picture taking your perfectly running car into the shop for a tune-up. When you come back it's not running, but they deny all responsibility and want to charge you $1373 to diagnose and repair what they did to it. I bet the Strattons wouldn't accept that. We will not be using them in the future. read more

Definitely recommend this business for residential backup generators. Fairly priced, prompt installation (given COVID and a building boom in my area) and insistence that no money be paid until the job is finished and I was completely satisfied. My family just moved into a new home and part of the agreement was that the electric service panel was updated. The sellers negotiated to utilize Phil Stratton Electric. Today the panel was changed. Power was supposed to be off from 9-2. Temps at 108. The work was done well before 2 pm by Phil Stratton. However, City of Tempe seemed to have screwed the pooch on sending an inspector out. At 4:45 contact was made with Tempe and they said they would have someone out at 6pm. 6pm inspection completed, time to call SRP to have them come out and turn power back on. This is where the 5 stars comes from. SRP said that this had to do with their construction division and they close at five. It is now a holiday weekend so I will not have electricty until Monday. Steve, who has been at my home since 830am, would not get off the phone until he got SRP to find someone to come turn on the electricity. They finally agreed to have someone come out, but would not give a time. Steve would not leave until they arrived. This is true customer service. In business, I understand that I am not anyone's only customer, however I want to feel that way. Well done to Phil Stratton Electric.
