One of the most important criteria for writing a review is consistency. I have eaten at this Smoothie Spot about five times in the last month & they have yet to let me down when it came to this important factor. I have had smoothies & bowls & they have always been very flavorful. The employees are friendly, respectful, & keep the prep areas & tables clean. I've also seen them change gloves which is a big pet peeve of mine especially if they are handling money or touching a surface that could contaminate the food. Speaking of money, I feel the price point for what you get is perfect here. A bowl is going to set you back around $10 but the portion size is enough to share in my opinion. I have tried their smoothies as well & found them to be priced right for their portion offerings. The ingredients used have always been fresh, & the presentation of the food is on point! I've had smiling faces & other designs made with the fruit in my Acai bowls. I've ordered both in person, & tried call ahead over the phone without issue. I have yet to order online but I saw an Uber Eats driver swing through & they were in & out in a matter of a minute or two. Where I'm 90% happy, no place is without its faults & I pride myself on telling it like it is. During my first visit, the price of my bowl was higher than that listed on the menu. I later found out there is a $1 upcharge when making a bowl with an Acai base. This is fine, but needs to be reflected on the menu. During two other attempted visits, they ran out of some core ingredients so I passed on ordering. The location is a bit complicated during traffic as it is about 20 feet from US1. There are only a handful of parking spots & at night it's not lit very well. The last thing that bothered me a bit is there isn't really a mention of how their rewards system works. After seeing an iPad looking device I inquired as to what it was for, and that's when I learned about the points system. I'm not sure what the points get me, but I definitely missed out on a few orders worth of points. Overall, I am very happy at this point in time. I plan to be a regular Smoothie Spot customer as long as consistency stays at the current levels. It would be a plus if some of the not so great things got remedied. As a follow up to the above, the price on the menu now reflects the $1 upcharge for Acai bowl. The points system also gives random free promos that are time sensitive so keep an eye out for those. read more

When I've ran errands all day there is nothing more refreshing than a smoothie from Smoothie Spot. I originally stopped here because I drove past it when I was in dire need of something cold since it's been so scolding hot outside. When I went inside I saw there was a little food bar! Every time I go there is at least one person ordering from it so I'm assuming it's good enough to have reoccurring customers. In fact, they serve a Lot of food. I've tried the vegan and Tropical vegan empanadas and I much prefer the tropical one. It has corn and I believe beans or something inside of it but I don't know, I just know I likes it a Lot more than the standard vegan one. Don't forget to order their little sauces with them! I love love love the spicy one they offer you. I always order the Mango Tango smoothie which is mango, pineapple, and vanilla protein and wow oh wow it is so yummy! My friend's favorite is Funks which is passion fruit, mango, pineapple, and vanilla protein. Which I'm only now realizing is almost exactly the same except for the passion fruit. My parents always ask me to get them both the Vanilla Mix which is banana, milk, vanilla protein and peanut butter. My dad doesn't usually like banana in his smoothies since he says they're over powering but he actually really likes this one! If you're in the area, definitely check it out :) read more

I've been going here for the past week or so, I always see they're empty so I even brought a friend in today so they can try the spot out. I always spend $20+ usually a bowl and a smoothie and unfortunately as soon as I walked out today my smoothie fell and I went back inside with the empty cup to see if they could make me a new one since i walked out not even 20 seconds ago and the guy basically told me it was non of their problem. Their smoothies are always on point and the food is so tasty and delicious. The servings are huge! I couldn't believe it but they really do pack a bowl right. You have a choice of different proteins all well seasoned. I got the steak salad bowl and it was delicious. Wasn't a fan of their avocado toast. It was greatly lacking in flavor. I've had some elaborate ones with reduced balsamic vinegar, arugula, etc from other breakfast spots which were amazing. I've also had plain ones I've made at home with only olive oil, salt and pepper that tasted much better. For example the bread they use for it is just plain bad. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! I made my own bowl (steak, spinach rice, corn, tomatoes, avocado, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese). Hands down, the worst experience I've experienced. Their acai is extremely artificial and not done properly, they advertise that they offer egg whites, however, we're not able to complete my order due "the egg whites not sticking". I stumbled upon this place while on a Waze detour and was glad to find a healthy place with smoothies so close to home. My husband and I stopped by for lunch today. Everything was super tasty! He got a wrap with churrasco and the spicy cilantro garlic sauce and said it was delicious! He also got the passion blast smoothie (without the protein powder as per a previous reviews recommendation) which was really good. Upgrading to a combo is a good deal (smoothie + fruit for $5). I got an açaí bowl which was very tasty although I was a little put off that they didn't use fresh strawberries but instead had frozen ones that had been defrosted and were basically mush. Overall lunch was SUPER GOOD and we will be back! The front doors were open and the air was off and it was incredibly warm inside so we took our food to go. I asked if the a/c was broken and the cashiers response was that they closed at 9 (language barrier) so I'm not sure what the norm is. It was just way too warm to eat comfortably. Typically, I am a Jamba Juice lover. In fact, I've never found a spot that beat Jamba Juice, as I've never been a fan of smoothie king, or any of the other places I've tried. Unfortunately for me, Jamba Juice isn't right next door to me, with the closest one being about 14 miles away. Well, thanks to yelp, I found this hidden gem that is literally 2 miles away from me! I couldn't believe that I had been living here 2+ years now, and not once did I see it! Anyway, I decided to try it out this morning and it failed to disappoint. I ordered a smoothie bowl, which you can custom make with your choice of smoothie, and up to 4 toppings. I went with the açaí smoothie accompanied by granola, strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. Needless to say, it was the perfect start to my day! Fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and delicious smoothie! My girlfriend ordered the strawberry smoothie, which is more of a classic choice. However, their menu seems endless with the amount of customizations you can make. I will definitely be back to try something else! Decided to give Smoothie Spot a try. The person who took our order was pleasant. After ordering, He informed us he was out of plantains but would ask for more. We could see that he was using a headset to ask, then every employee turned and stared at us as if we asked that they swim across the ocean to collect the plantains! My daughter settled for a different wrap and I asked for the Caesar wrap. We soon discovered there was no more chicken. The employee asked if he should try to get more. After the plantain inquiry, I said No. My daughter's wrap was decent, but it didn't outweigh the poor customer service. I don't know that I'll return. read more
