As far as Thai food goes you will need to go a long way to better this little gem. I've eaten here about 5 or 6 times now and each time have been very impressed with both the food and the service.
My latest visit was a take out rather than dining in the restaurant itself. However, the menu and the food for take out is exactly the same both in terms of quality and content.
There were 3 of us, so we opted to share some mixed starters, the Spring Rolls (Pa Pia Tod), beautifully flavoured minced chicken with crumbly pastry, simple but well executed. The spare ribs (Kra Dook Moo), delicately spiced with ginger and pepper but with a lovely sweetness. The meat was plentiful, just fell off the bone and was not too sticky. The pork skewers were succulent and spicy served with sweet chilly sauce.
For main I opted for the beef salad (Nam Tok), lovely tenderloin of beef cooked to perfection served with a salad containing chilli, coriander, spring onion and mint, which really elevated the dish.
My dining guests both had the beef curry (Geang Massaman), a rich and creamy curry which had the perfect harmony of heat, sweetness and creaminess from the coconut milk. The beef was so tender, satisfyingly melting in the mouth. It also has little baby potatoes and shallots through the sauce which worked really well.
I would highly recommend this to locals and well worth making a trip for anyone outwith Altrincham.
