Their formal welcome materials promised a diverse cohort and hands-on, multi-subject learning. Unfortunately, the actual experience did not match the advertised curriculum: Incomplete Curriculum: The provided syllabus outlined 10 distinct units--including advanced, device-based modalities like Ultrasound Cavitation and Radio Frequency (RF) Skin Tightening. Instead, the entire "course" was rushed through in a single afternoon. Lack of Training: I was given a basic informational folder and asked to practice a manual technique directly on the owner. No comprehensive technical or safety training was provided for the complex machine modalities promised. Unprofessional Conduct: Immediately following this single afternoon, the owner had me service live, paying clients at the spa, telling me to "fake it till you make it," despite knowing I lacked the proper hours, licensing, and formal training required by California state boards to operate these modalities safely. Defective Equipment & Environment: During my brief time there, I encountered mechanically compromised equipment--specifically a hyperbaric chamber with a malfunctioning door mechanism that would not properly close. Worthless Documentation: To close out the afternoon, I was handed a "Certificate of Completion" listing the completion of six advanced aesthetic modalities that the owner didn't even sign. I am writing this review to warn anyone looking for legitimate, accredited body sculpting or lymphatic education. This program does not provide the hours or compliant training necessary to legally or safely practice in California. Do your research and look for accredited, state-approved schools instead. I also learned that this person is NOT licensed/ certified!!!!!!

I am sharing my experience with anyone who is considering using this person's services…read more After my surgery, I was in a vulnerable position and needed post-operative lymphatic massages. She convinced me to pay $2,220 for a package of 12 sessions and promised that I would get great results if I followed her treatment plan. After taking my money, she only provided 3 sessions. Even those sessions were not performed as we had originally discussed. After that, she constantly postponed appointments, made excuses, and kept telling me she would schedule my remaining sessions, but she never followed through. When I realized how unprofessional and unreliable she was, I decided I did not want to continue treatment with her and asked for a refund for the 9 sessions that I paid for but never received. Since then, she has ignored my messages and refused to return my money. In my experience, she tells people what they want to hear in order to get paid, but once she has your money, everything changes. I trusted her when I was recovering from surgery and needed help, and I deeply regret that decision. I have proof of my payments and our conversations. This review is based entirely on my personal experience. I do not recommend her services at all. Based on my experience, she is the most dishonest and unreliable person I have ever dealt with. Be very careful before giving her any money.

I met Christine Reed…read morewho introduced me to this absolute Gem and the owner Julie was very knowledgeable and just fantastic! I came in wanting help with my brain fog issues due to adrenal fatigue and candida in my gut oh so fun I know lol! Both Julie and Christine suggested I start with Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy and a foot detox! I was a bit nervous about the Hyperbaric chamber but Christine was with me the whole time and walked me through every step and 40 minutes later I felt AMAZING! I am definitely going to do more sessions! I was a little tired and sluggish when I came in, but after this 1 session, I felt soooooo good! My brain fog was better, I felt happy and had energy! Next was the red light therapy which I had done before for period cramps etc so I knew what to expect with this and it really helps my lower back with stiffness etc...I did that for about 20 min and felt great! After that, I had the foot detox for 1 hour and it was so relaxing it pulled heavy metals out of my body and detoxed my liver. That night I slept like a baby! I thought I was done after that but NO haha. Someone had canceled their massage appointment with Juanita so she offered to give me a mini aromatherapy massage for about 20 minutes! WOW, she is fantastic and very intuitive which is such a great gift to have. We had the best conversation and her healing hands felt great for the mind, body and soul! The massage room is just beautiful with Himalayan salt carved into the walls and on the floor for detox and grounding! You definitely have to check out this little gem in Beverly Hills with AMAZING VIP service and prices!! I WILL BE BACK!! Thank You so much!

Despite making multiple attempts to reach the office and leaving voicemails, I have not received a response or any meaningful follow-up. I understand that offices can get busy, but after repeated attempts over such a long period of time, the lack of communication is incredibly frustrating. I would have been happy to resolve this directly with the office, but simply getting in contact with someone has proven unnecessarily difficult. Unfortunately, based on the communication and customer service I have experienced, I cannot recommend this office.

Her facilities provide privacy and comfort when receiving a therapy session as well as a full bathroom and lobby area. There is also a rest area for other guests and she provides wireless internet as well. Nothing but comfort when you enter this establishment. I first came in with two slipped discs in my neck and had little to absolutely no mobility. within three months of weekly treatments I was able to wrestle again and I was able to have complete range of motion in my neck. After my National tournament in 2009 I separated my shoulder and shoulder blade and within a couple of months, Heather was able to fix me so I could go back on the mat. She is amazing and pin points the problem areas and works with me to restore and fix them. It's not always pleasant but the results are incredible. I have had doctors tell me that i'm finished or I will not be able to compete anymore. As soon as I go to Heather, BAM! I am fixed, I am better, and I am ready to step on the mat again thanks to Heather and her healing hands and warm personality! Heather herself is a beautiful and caring individual when she works with you. She not only pin points what may be wrong with your body but also provides an explanation to what and how your body is and then explains what she is going to do to better help you. This is an amazing characteristic in some one that you are going to trust your body with. Currently I am a competitive athlete in wrestling and jiu-jitsu and she with out effort helps me with countless injuries, sore and aches. I completely trust her to help me when my body is in need of some TLC. Not only is Heather great at what she does but she has experience as well. She also works with pro athletes and celebrities. Heather's amazing aura and gentle touch will help you and improve your lifestyle. Like I said I have been an AVID client for the past eight years and I refer everybody to her that is in need or in some sort of muscular pain. Trust me she is worth every penny and she knows how to read the body so well. I am truly blessed that I found her. I hope you have an amazing experience with her as I do every time I go to her.

Being in LA, I…read moredon't know any masseuses in the area, so my friend referred me to Heather and had nothing but great things to say about her. Heather is a very nice lady, and it is easy to see why she is good at what she does. The facility is simple, but it has everything you need to get a great massage. Before we got started, Heather offered me a glass of water and tea - which I thought was a nice touch. The massage was great! I have had quite a few people work on me before, but my shoulders have been a trouble spot for a while now. As she started to work her magic, I felt her doing techniques that I haven't felt others do before. She was able to workout a couple knots that really made a difference. She also revealed some insights about me that were enlightening. I would recommend anyone looking for a high quality massage to get some time with Heather. She is very passionate about what she does, and her love for helping people is genuine, which I feel goes a long way in massage.

Tomoko Spa is located on a very busy street, but you forget all that as soon as you step inside. They do a really great job of creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The experience starts with a 15 min foot soak/massage, and that already was divine. The masseuse puts the perfect amount of pressure, and that combined with the warm water, almost put me to sleep, haha. For the body massage part, the masseuse asks you what parts you want focused on and how much pressure you would like. They are also really good at checking in at various parts of the massage to make sure you are completely satisfied. I really appreciated how thorough they are with the massage and also how proactive they are in making sure you are enjoying the experience. At the end of the massage, we were given hand-whisked matcha tea to drink, and they also provided us jelly, a handwritten note, and a rose to celebrate our anniversary :) We had such a lovely experience, and I cannot recommend this place enough, whether to celebrate a special occasion, or just to treat yourself! ** If you book a couple's massage, they provide complimentary parking in the lot next to the spa, otherwise there's paid street parking or parking garages available nearby
