I have been an avid client for Heather and her massage therapy for the past 8 years. She not only provides great service but a warm and welcomed environment when walking in. Her facilities provide privacy and comfort when receiving a therapy session as well as a full bathroom and lobby area. There is also a rest area for other guests and she provides wireless internet as well. Nothing but comfort when you enter this establishment. I first came in with two slipped discs in my neck and had little to absolutely no mobility. within three months of weekly treatments I was able to wrestle again and I was able to have complete range of motion in my neck. After my National tournament in 2009 I separated my shoulder and shoulder blade and within a couple of months, Heather was able to fix me so I could go back on the mat. She is amazing and pin points the problem areas and works with me to restore and fix them. It's not always pleasant but the results are incredible. I have had doctors tell me that i'm finished or I will not be able to compete anymore. As soon as I go to Heather, BAM! I am fixed, I am better, and I am ready to step on the mat again thanks to Heather and her healing hands and warm personality! Heather herself is a beautiful and caring individual when she works with you. She not only pin points what may be wrong with your body but also provides an explanation to what and how your body is and then explains what she is going to do to better help you. This is an amazing characteristic in some one that you are going to trust your body with. Currently I am a competitive athlete in wrestling and jiu-jitsu and she with out effort helps me with countless injuries, sore and aches. I completely trust her to help me when my body is in need of some TLC. Not only is Heather great at what she does but she has experience as well. She also works with pro athletes and celebrities. Heather's amazing aura and gentle touch will help you and improve your lifestyle. Like I said I have been an AVID client for the past eight years and I refer everybody to her that is in need or in some sort of muscular pain. Trust me she is worth every penny and she knows how to read the body so well. I am truly blessed that I found her. I hope you have an amazing experience with her as I do every time I go to her. read more

With my competition coming close, I wanted to get a massage to help tune up my body. Being in LA, I don't know any masseuses in the area, so my friend referred me to Heather and had nothing but great things to say about her. Heather is a very nice lady, and it is easy to see why she is good at what she does. The facility is simple, but it has everything you need to get a great massage. Before we got started, Heather offered me a glass of water and tea - which I thought was a nice touch. The massage was great! I have had quite a few people work on me before, but my shoulders have been a trouble spot for a while now. As she started to work her magic, I felt her doing techniques that I haven't felt others do before. She was able to workout a couple knots that really made a difference. She also revealed some insights about me that were enlightening. I would recommend anyone looking for a high quality massage to get some time with Heather. She is very passionate about what she does, and her love for helping people is genuine, which I feel goes a long way in massage. read more

Heather takes her time to get to know you and why you are here to see her. She asks questions to know how to better help you and after my first session I ended up purchasing 5 more sessions just to get myself back together again. I have neck and shoulder pains and told Heather right off the bat that I was ticklish and she knew exactly how to work with me. Very professional therapist and I loved my time here that I couldn't wait to go back! read more

I've been here a few times and I've always been happy with my massage. They're a little quiet, but very nice. I've never had to wait and the prices are super cheap. They'll start you off with a hot foot soak and a head massage, which is great and go on from there depending on what you requested. My shoulders were killing me yesterday and my massage was just what I need and he focused on the knots and I didn't even have to ask. A great deal for an hour massage... plus a tip because they're awesome. read more

I hurt myself really bad at BJJ, practice so bad that I was unable to sleep at night. A friend of mine referred me to Heather. On her advice I went to her studio to get my abdominals and shoulders fixed. Heather is such a sweet soul. Made me feel comfortable and took me in despite it being so late. She took her time and did her best to fix me up. I highly recommend her, she knows her stuff and you can't beat the customer service. read more

She is not an actual doctor. Be careful signing the waiver. She put direct ice on my friends leg and left really bad ice Burns, and kept telling her to not tell anyone. My friends leg did not actually get better it got worse. And now she is scared and now has to spend more money in scar creams to try to heal the mess this women made. Go to an actually certified deep tissue masseuse. They'll do the same thing without ruining your skin or body. read more

Being a Dental Assistant I am on my feet some days for 8 hours or bent over in positions you only do playing Twister. Having had bad experiences with previous massage therapist I stayed away for many years and endured a bad shoulder and sore neck. Heathers professional,l caring, and knowledgeable approach made me comfortable with the therapy to get me back feeling better. I could write a novel about how well Heather has made my muscles feel. This is where you need to experience it for yourself. She is a true Master Massage Therapist along with the rest of her staff that are as caring and professional as she is. read more

I was browsing Yelp to find a massage therapist for my boyfriend who has an existing injury from a car accident. Specifically he had a tear in his hip which caused scar tissue to form. This creates a lot of discomfort in his lower back/hip area. Heather had some amazing reviews so I decided to surprise him with an appointment. She was prompt and I easily made an appointment for that week. Wow he had nothing but amazing things to say when he got home! Not only did she give him the best deep tissue massage ever, but she was professional and informative the entire time. She explained what and why she was doing things and really focused on the problem area. That was 2 months ago. And he hasn't had any problems with his hip since then! Now there's definitely something to be said about that. Oh, and if you're cool she may even let you pick out the music haha! read more

Heather is the BEST massage therapist I have ever gone to. She really knows how to get all of the kinks out of your muscles. I started going to her when I was pregnant with twins. She helped make my pregnancy more bearable and I was able to continue holding the babies comfortably in my womb up until full-term. Carrying twins is completely different than carrying a singleton (which I have experience with as well). Heather worked miracles in alleviating all of my sore muscles and made the pain stay away for an extended period of time. I have continued to see Heather even after my babies were born and she has worked more miracles on my muscles. She has helped me with sciatic pain, neck pain, and back pain from carrying infants, and headaches. read more

Heather is an amazing massage therapist!! I highly recommend her! She is very experienced and can do any style of massage you want.

Price is great and you always get full time allotted to you. Bit more importantly Heather is one of the best masseuses I have met. Certainly the best in LA. More than the great atmosphere, she takes a minute to understand where and why you are sore so she can target the appropriate muscle groups during her massage. Each massage has incorporated a different focus toward pain areas and left me feeling invigorated, well rested and a little sore but in a good way! read more

Heather is a very professional and knowledgeable massage therapist. Her office environment is very relaxing too. I had never had a massage before, and she really put me at ease, and helped my neck/shoulder problem a lot. She also does this acupressure thing that is sooooo relaxing. I highly recommend her services. read more

Heather is amazing! She intuitively finds all of my sore spots and works to free me of the pain. I leave feeling renewed and relaxed.

Heather was professional and personable, and very knowledgeable. I went in expecting a standard massage, but after describing to her my laundry list of ailments, she questioned and spoke with more understanding than the past 3 medical specialists I've been to. She aptly described the muscular system as a series of pulleys, and so after an hour of her loosening some pulleys and tightening others, I walked out of there with a very odd feeling: the absence of discomfort and pain in my lower-back and left leg. It wasn't until later in the week that I truly realized how much discomfort I had been in while doing such simple things as walking, driving and sitting at my desk. Heather made some giant strides in undoing 15 years worth of bodily abuse. Needless to say I am very happy and will be returning for additional sessions. read more

I had just given birth a couple weeks before seeing Heather and my whole body was sore. My neck was in extreme pain from bad posture while nursing my baby. Heather did wonders for me and even worked on my neck for an extra fifteen minutes for free because I was in such pain. The room was relaxing, her voice and demeanor were calming, and the overall experience was refreshing and rejuvenating. Just what a new mommy needed. Thanks, Heather!!! read more

Heather is the bomb! The name "muscle whisperer" doesn't do her justice. What a wonderful experience. Great customer service, very inviting personality and AMAZING massage. Let me repeat, AMAZING massage. Definitely worth it. I'll be back. read more

Muscle Whisperer Massage Therapy is truly a slice of heaven. I went in with aches and pains all over and left feeling twenty years younger! Heather's touch and training knew exactly what area to work on to relieve all those aches and pains immediately. The only problem is leaving her table - I just wanted to stay there forever! Her location is ideal for a day of pampering - she is next door to an excellent salon and am thrilled my hair stylist Sherry recommended Heather to me. After the first visit, both my daughter and I are so grateful in finding such a wonderful therapist who has not only takes an interest in providing the best massage ever but welcomes you as a friend. Bottom line - once you experience her fingers you will never go anywhere else. She is the gold standard...period. read more

Generally don't do reviews but I believe this is warranted. Heather is the ultimate professional and absolutely passionate about helping you feel your best. I drive nearly 40 mins to get a massage from her and I always leave feeling light and tension free. She is very knowledgeable about the muscles and focuses heavily on helping remove aches, pains, and tightness. You will not be disappointed by receiving one of her treatments. Your body will thank you read more

Heather is such a wonderful masseuse! She has a deep understanding of the body and uses that knowledge to really get into the places that need it. I grew up with a Rolfer as a father and Heather's work is very similar. You are an active participant on the table so she can get deeper to address the issue, rather than just skimming over the surface. It is a very satisfying experience that feels amazing and addresses structural imbalances to really get you out of pain! read more

To call Heather a massage therapist is not giving her enough credit; she truly is a muscle whisperer. She cleared up restrictions in my shoulder and gave me back range of motion that I haven't had in a while. She not only treated the injury but the ancillary muscles that as well. Heather is the best! read more

Heather is an absolutely amazing massage therapist! My husband and I both go to Heather and she has done wonders for us! She has been able to help me with my migraines and him with his deep muscle healing after 6 surgeries. Heather has healing hands! We are so lucky to have met her! Definitely recommend! read more

Do not buy packages from Heather... Services rendered was not to par, she offered refund outside payment method which was via credit card. Lack of communication, she blocked my email address and do not answer to text. Buyers beware, bait and switch on therapist and service location. She fabricated treatment calendar to submit to credit card company. Her communications with me were via Heather Sims dba as SQ. Muscle Whisperer, so if there are any dispute on fees, credit card company will not take messages without reference to Muscle Whisperer, obviously she is referred to as Heather most of the time when being addressed rather than Muscle Whisperer. It's fine buying single sessions for her, as she probably does a better job, I bought sessions and added big tips in the package as well.... Such a SCAM!!! I hope no one else falls into my shoes. Obviously this is all true as she have not bothered to make contact with the negative review. read more

I recieved on of the best massages from Heather. It was very relaxing from head to toe. She is very knowledgeable as well as very professionable. And both are reflected in her work. I will definitely be back when I'm in L.A. again. read more
