When I was in Thailand, I stayed in a wooden traditional home so I instantly get transported here in this dark wooden interior. The cooking is supervised directly by the Thai mammas in the back so the taste is divine and true. It avoids tasting anglicized even though the menu is obviously catering to a western palate. We came here in Feb 2024 with a group of instructors from nearby college, each sharing the amazing dishes of fried noodles, fish with basil, vegetarian curries etc. We had ordered roughly eight dishes. The taste was unforgettable. It made me really hanker to go back. I returned the following year and again felt cozy and ordered a Fish with coconut milk curry. It was a massive portion for one but was so delicious I couldn't stop eating it. My left overs were packed with **a fresh, extra portion of rice** by the Thai hostess. How sweet. It was critical when I was at a remote location for work the next day and I had a whole second meal. I will always go out of my way to return to eat at the uniquely delicious Sabai Thai!

The Pad Thai had good texture and not overly sweet. The Tom Yum soup had great deep flavour with the right amount of sourness and both our curries were just as good on the palate with complex flavours. Prices and portions were not too bad at 8.99 for soup, appy and main. Either way, I was definitely full by the end. Only thing is that there is not much parking space near the store. You might have to look for street parking elsewhere.
