In fact, in my review I stated that all I asked for was the curtesy to let me know you'd decided you were no longer interested in the job. I left a voicemail, asking if you'd decided not to do it. It would not have required you to drop anything to take less than 30 seconds to reply to the text I had sent with the photos and say you were no longer interested. That would have demonstrated a level of professionalism and common courtesy that should be a cornerstone of your business. Instead, you decide to respond to this review three years later with a passive-aggressive reply that only serves to make you look incredibly unprofessional. No part of my review was unreasonable, and the resolution that I said I hoped for was completely fair. Sending a text message would not have endangered your life or your health, but it would have gone a long way to showing that you're a decent person who cares about doing right by people, even when you aren't going to take the job.

The only thing that they did quickly was to ask for the deposit, which we unfortunately paid immediately. That said, their contract stated that the job was estimated to take 5-6 days. As it turned out, they started late and finished what they considered a complete job the next day at 9:00 PM. (1.5 days to paint a 2 story 2700 sq. ft. house?) Of course, it was too dark to properly inspect the work and they demanded payment from my daughter that night. She was nervous being alone and paid them. I am a senior and live in another state and could not be there. The next morning, she found one of her tall ladders leaning up against the house for her to put away. Wouldn't you think that professional painters would have their own ladder? In any case, I am attaching pictures of what they call a finished product. As you can see, they painted right over peeled paint without scraping before. Is this the way you would expect your home to look after spending over $6,000 from a professional company? I think not!! Actually, this should have been my first resort but hubby had referrals from two of the painters. Any how, after calling Anthony, he provided a quick response and even came out the same day to prepare the free quote. He was respectful and professional and promised the quote via email within a day. True to his word, we received a very competitive quote! The best part was, Anthony was able to begin the work the very next day! That was a huge bonus for us because we were leaving town within several days. His ability to do the work then allowed us the opportunity to travel with a clear mind that the work was done and done well.
