Just took my 2yoF GSD for a pretty nasty ear infection. We came on a Saturday right at 11am and were the only people in the clinic for probably 20 mins. Dr. Kim was so wonderful and gentle with my girl's painful ear. The techs were great! We were out the door with prescriptions by 1140. Exam fee, steroids, ear drops, and medicated ear cleaner only came to about $208. Office was extremely clean and the exam rooms had seating for pet parents. The only weird thing is the glass between the exam rooms and from the front room to the checkin desk, my dog didn't super love being able to see so many strangers, but ultimately she was distractible. Signing in online and waiting in the car for a more unsociable pet is a great feature if your pet doesn't feel great and want to sit in the waiting room with other animals. Ultimately I will continue to take my dogs to our regular vet for vaccines and chronic medications, however they can be difficult to schedule "sick" visits with. I would not hesitate to return to this office. read more

Horrible clinic for pets. Fast, efficient whatever blah blah blah. They gave my dog so many treats which aggravated his stomach. Now they are trying to charge me for the medication, but their excuse is the shots he received May have caused it. My dog has never had experienced like this for any of his shots. The doctor administering was scared of my dog because he is a Doberman. If anybody knows Astro they can speak on how sweet my Doberman is. You shouldn't be a vet if you're scared of dogs. This place should be a last resort. read more

I highly recommend PetWellClinic. I couldn't believe the ease of being seen by a great vet. We literally walked in, signed in, and was seen in 10 minutes by Dr. Gutierrez and his tech Lauren. They were both amazing and were able to help both of our dogs. Not to mention, when I had a follow-up question two days later, I sent them an email and Konnor quickly replied back to me the same day with the doctor recommendations for which I was looking. PetWellClinic - Ahwatukee - Veterinarians Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

We just adopted a cat and brought him here for an initial checkup. The adoption paperwork included a note from a previous vet that he may have ringworm. The vet here said she didn't think so. After I found a spot on him, and asked them to send it for testing, it came back positive. This vet sent me to a website for how to treat him along with a shampoo and medication that "could only be filled by an online pharmacy". We asked if we could ask the vet some questions to clarify some things we read from the link she sent us. They would only allow us to talk to her if we paid the $40 visit fee. After submitting the prescription online, I was told by the pharmacy that PetClinic doesn't work with online pharmacies. I explained that they told me they would make an exception. The online pharmacy wasn't able to get ahold of them. So then, I found out that local CVS pharmacy had the medication. I took the prescription there and they couldn't fill it because it had contradicting information on it. I went back to PetClinic to fix it. I stopped by today to clarify if he was to be brought back after 2 calendar weeks from starting the medication or after taking two weeks of the medication. (The medication is written to take for 7 days then off 7 days then on 7 days). The guy at the front desk said we have to finish the medication (which was written for 5 total weeks) and then come back 2 weeks after. After pushing the issue, he finally went back and asked the vet. He then came and said "two weeks". I asked to speak to the vet and he pushed back that two weeks is two weeks. I tried to explain I wanted better clarification and he refused. After this. We will never go back there and advise everyone we know to stay away! read more

I am very pleased with my first experience today at this pet clinic. I decided to try them with our new puppy based on a lot of positive reviews that others have given. We have another dog that we've been taking to another vet in Ahwatukee the past couple of years. We've been satisfied with them, but PetWell Clinic is about half the distance from our home. My verdict today is that it is worth bringing our other dog to PetWell Clinic. My understanding is that PetWell Clinic does vaccinations, health checks, and they can address more minor pet issues. If a pet has more than a mild injury or condition, this place might not be the right place. I kept the receipt for puppy vaccinations for our other dog at the other vet in Ahwatukee. We paid more there than I did today at PetWell Clinic. Nice! The process and time that I spent at PetWell Clinic for vaccines today was very efficient. I prepared myself mentally to spend time waiting, etc. But I was in/out in just around 15 minutes. I also much appreciate the very nice staff at this place. All three ladies who met my puppy today were sweet to her and I sensed that they truly care. Thank you to the staff... how you care towards our pets really matters to us. read more

This is my first experience with petwell and I'm very glad they opened a clinic in phoenix. We brought our puppy in for a checkup + shots and had a great time with Dr. Kim, cole, and the rest of their team. I love that they emphasize not forcing anything on the animals and preventing health conditions over treatment. We will definitely be back! read more

The guy and lady at the desk are not friendly at all they don't greet people and you when you tell them your pet name he is acting like his brain is in our space. They need to get better friendly people at the desk they make you not want to be at this location and are vet friendly but the vet last time was rude one is really nice. People should treat everyone friendly or get a new job.He acts rude every time like he is nuts. read more

I found the staff and veterinarians to be friendly and caring for my pet. She had all of her vaccinations and well care there. My pet eventually got sick a year after I got her. Numerous attempts were made to treat her with medication, but nothing worked. They referred me to a full care vet hospital where she was treated and eventually had to be put down. It's taken me more than a month to be able to write a review because of my loss of my beloved fur baby. I read an article in the Ahwatukee paper about Pet Well clinic and had decided to take her to them after reading terrible reviews at other veterinary clinics closer to me. Everyone, and I mean everyone from the time I walked in the door to leaving were friendly, kind and empathetic to my cat and myself. They were happy to allow me to wait inside my vehicle until Dr. Kim was able to see her (my cat was not social with other people or dogs). They do not have imaging equipment here and I had to be referred to an emergency clinic for an x-ray and ultrasound. I hope someday down the road they will get that type of equipment and technicians. What I most appreciate about Pet Well is their transparency. You are able to sit with your pet while they are examined. Again my cat was terrified of strangers and having me there to comfort her made her visit less stressful. Most veterinary practices whisk your pet off to a back area and you don't get to see what is being done to them. In my case I would've liked some blinds to block out the other customers in the room next door Just for more privacy. The staff were so kind and signed a condolence card after finding out my fur baby had to cross over Rainbow Bridge. I will definitely be taking my next fur baby to Pet Well in the future. read more

We was very impressed with Pet well Clinic. Our dog was having issues after eating a poison bug or plant and was having some digestive issues. We were able to easily register online. They have extended hours and are open on Saturday. They opened at 11 am and we used the online portal to get for a visit as it is first come first serve and they don't take appointments. (You cant sign up until the business actual opens) Since we signed in as soon as it opened we were first on the list so we quickly drove to the office. There was someone that was already there signing in but since we sign up already we went right in the next available room to be seen. The have a tv listing the order of people/pets so you know your place on the list. The office is brand new and is clean and organized. There are window in the exam rooms so you can see the other exam rooms and lobby so you know what's happening with the staff and others so time passes quickly while you wait. The exam was through and the staff was so profession and friendly. We appreciate the through explanation on our pets issue and the treatment plan. Doctor Casey was so patient with our follow up questions. They had the medication available and it was very reasonably priced. The visit was also very reasonable, our total cost was under $100. Our visit time was just over one hour and as we left we could see they got busy quickly with 5 people waiting. Dr. Casey had typed follow up instructions and a overview of what we discussed. We later got a follow up email thanking us for the visit. We was really impressed with the visit. This is similar to Minute Clinics for people at Safeway and CVS in concept. They are pretty well equipped but don't do X-rays but check the webpage to see all the can do. We were referred by a friend and we would also recommend it very highly. This is a great alternative when you can't get into your vets schedule or something comes up with her pet unexpectedly. read more

We recently took our cat to the Petwell Clinic for treatment for vomiting and being lethargic - these folks so friendly, they really care for animals and they did a great job with our cat's treatment. They got us in very quickly and their prices are MUCH more reasonable than the other vets in the area. We called other vets and it was two weeks to be seen (otherwise it is an ER visit which can run almost $1000). We will be going back in the future. read more
