I contacted Thomas in November the day after I got arrested for a DUI…read more Thomas had accepted my call for help and immediately worked with me to create a plan on what to do for the coming months as I was awaiting my trial. Throughout the following months, Thomas gave me a number of recommendations to help me with my case and to re-evaluate myself and put myself on the right path towards bettering myself as a person. As the months had ticked away towards my trial, Thomas made sure to check in and give me and my family any updates he had regarding the case whether it was with the courts or with the DMV. About halfway to my court date, Thomas argued my case to the DMV and won my case with DMV, and Thomas was able to secure my license back. Fast forward to today, my final verdict with the court was that both my DUI charges were dismissed and I only received a wet reckless with only a 12 hour class and paying a $300 fine. No Jail time, no license suspension, and no other penalties. The work I had put in during those months of waiting for my trial had paid off and I cannot express how glad I am Thomas had me start those meetings early on. I truly feel Thomas had prepared me for everything I was going to face in this trial and was by my side every step of the way making sure that I was on the right trajectory to get my second chance. Before I had contacted Thomas, the reviews I read online were extremely positive and those reviews are a proper reflection of the work that he did for me!

I am a nurse and I thought that would be the end of my life and my career. It was the darkest time in my life that I lost trust in the system and humans. During this time, I found and retained attorney Thomas Fleming. He assured me everything would be ok. Throughout the legal process, Thomas guided me every step, recommending a number of activities that are good for my case, and also helped me grow as a person. Thomas then used these activities and my growth in court as one of many reasons why the court should give me a second chance despite any mistakes I may have made. Thomas then asked the judge to divert and dismiss my case. The prosecutor strongly objected to this. But, amazingly, the judge believed and agreed with Thomas, and granted his request to divert and dismiss my case. Amazing but true, the court dismissed my case at his request! Thomas then filed a motion to seal any record of my arrest, the court granted as well! Thomas has a lot of faith. I found him to be a smart, trustworthy, honest, professional, compassionate and genuinely cared for me as a person. He got to know me and my family as well. He always wanted the best for me, it showed in the result. God bless Thomas!

Compassionate & Kind "Walks Softly With A Big Stick" We…read morehighly recommend the legal services of Laina Chikhani. My husband was unexpectedly served with a temporary restraining order, and given a court date that conflicted with travel plans, as we would be out of the Country on that date. We were at a loss on how to proceed. We decided to search for an attorney. We contacted Laina and arranged a meeting. When we met with her we immediately felt comfortable. She was not only professional but very kind. She assured us that she would appear at court on the Restraining Order date. Which she promptly appeared and successfully requested that the court reschedule the hearing for a date after our return. This immediate action provided us with both relief and confidence during a very stressful situation. The allegations made against my husband were extremely serious and completely unfounded. Prior to the new hearing date, Laina advised us to prepare a detailed, chronological account of the events leading up to the restraining order, along with supporting exhibits. This guidance proved invaluable. Our submission clearly outlined the facts and demonstrated the lack of merit in the claims made against my husband. At the court hearing, the Judge asked the petitioner whether she had reviewed our response and supporting evidence. After questioning her further, and noting the seriousness of making such allegations, the Judge immediately dismissed the case and dropped all charges. We are deeply grateful for Laina's professionalism, sound legal strategy, and unwavering support throughout this process. Her knowledge, responsiveness and commitment to justice were evident every step of the way. We would not hesitate to recommend Laina to anyone in need of a skilled and dedicated legal representation. Sincerely, George & Dawn

I cannot thank Lamano Law enough for the outstanding work they did on my case. After being pulled…read moreover by CHP on the freeway and charged with a DUI, I was extremely worried about my future, especially because I hold a commercial driver's license. From the very beginning, the team at Lamano Law was professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring. They handled every aspect of my case and provided excellent representation in court. Thanks to their hard work and expertise, my DUI charge was reduced to a wet reckless, which was a huge relief. I was placed on probation for two years, and once my probation was completed, Lamano Law successfully helped me get my case expunged. Most importantly, they helped protect my commercial driving license, which allowed me to continue working and supporting myself. Their dedication, communication, and results exceeded my expectations. If you are facing DUI charges and need a law firm that truly fights for its clients, I highly recommend Lamano Law. They made a difficult situation much more manageable and achieved an outcome I am incredibly grateful for.

She was the most honest, knowledgeable, and clear attorneys that I have spoken to about my case by a large margin (including Claude and Chat GPT). She even supplied me with extra resources that I had not known of or considered. 100% recommend if you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing and what they are taking about.

Had a court date in three weeks and I needed a good lawyer for my arraignment date. I knew that this was only arraignment. And usually nothing happens except pleading guilty or not guilty. Well long story short. Andrew didn't just sit around and wait while the other lawyers would try and cut in front of him. The San Francisco court house is chaos! He made sure we were heard as soon as possibly. And I didn't have to wait for hrs. Like I would have had to do if I had a public defender. Well the case got dismissed. And Andrew is going to help do the expulsion also. Totally a class act lawyer! Thank you Andrew!

As much as I always liked and relied on Yelp, apparently in a situation where both your wellbeing…read moreand your future depends on skills, dedication, and honesty of that one professional who will help you getting your life back to normal - Yelp stars might be misleading here and there. Long story short - got the temporary restraining order back in December 2024, wonderful choice of direction some people choose to solve business disputes. I looked around and picked Andrew as my counsel. Nice and friendly interview, practicing family/civil law, plus more than a hundred 5-star reviews (for an attorney) -- what else do you need, right? Besides, having backups of texts, emails, paperwork going back for more than three years and reading through utterly ridiculous affidavit filed against me, I haven't had a single worry on my mind. Until the final hearing 15 months later. and... The most disappointing, hurtful, and insufferable element in the outcome of this case is not the adjudication but rather - Andrew's covert yet egregious abuse of my trust - "I really want you win. I'm doing my best to make it happen. I know you are the good guy here" yadayadayada. - his persistent lying and gaslighting about pretty much everything case-related. "Did you read my email? - Yes, sure! - Ok, which point do you prefer? - Oh, I don't know yet, I'll read it again later". Of course he didn't read it because Mailtrack (the email tracking addon which shows whether an you sent got read or an attachment got opened, etc) I finally installed in Gmail just to see what's going on, it showed "not read yet" - he would open an email in question five to ten minutes after a nudge yet pay no attention to the attachments as if the evidence documents attached were the least of your concern (that turned to be the case after all). - his flagrant lack of even a modicum of professional integrity - he didn't pay attention to anything happening with my case, facing a rather aggressive counsel on the opposite side who's been bombarding me with the delays, contempts, motions this and motions that - he just attended hearings and gaslighted me about "there's nothing we can do here" - he constantly failed to even let me know about the new court documents filed by the opposing party - I had to set a reminder/alarm for myself to check the case log via court's website on a daily basis just to make sure I won't miss the new filings. - he picked twelve pieces of evidence (primarily business convos related) out of more than 70 available (one-on-one communications disproving each allegation one after another), told me I don't need witnesses, disregarded testimonies of witnesses on the opposite side, yeah.... - his lack of responsibility and preparedness illustrated by "I have no idea what's going on here" conduct in the courtroom where the commissioner felt compelled to raise a few objections herself to stop opposing counsel's inappropriate line of questioning. He was peacefully staring at the ceiling meanwhile. - his lack of self-reflection in regard to his mistakes or mostly shortcomings - he prefers to blame it all on everybody else around: petitioner, opposing counsel, judge, weather, and me of course (apparently I was too nervous and yet he had full list of my medical conditions and medications but didn't bother informing the commissioner about it). - his "it's your problem" attitude which became clearly evident when you failed to mumble out a single word to explain the reasoning for my remote participation (which has angered the judge beyond belief) at first evidentiary hearing, My mother had a stroke two days prior and after spending ~ 40 sleepless hours sitting in some waiting room at the CPMC Van Ness while she's been going through three separate cranial/brain surgeries. I kept him aware of each and every development, even the minor ones, sent him doctors' correspondence to show to the judge - he didn't bother until the hearing started and judge began yelling. - his complete obliviousness to opposing counsel's conduct and her complete disregard to attorney's candor rules. He hasn't even bothered to react to her literally screaming some despicable bs at the judge like "respondent's lying! He's not at any hospital! I know it because his car didn't leave the driveway in the last five days". Well, my car hasn't left the driveway for more than seven months - the battery's been dead ever since but.... rejoice! There's Uber and I did send even the freaking trips receipts. Nah, he didn't even bother to raise the question the source of info re: where my car is (not geoloc for sure, battery's _dead_ dead) - his unprofessional, childish tantrums where he would let himself to literally yell at me or ask me questions like "are you bipolar or is it OCD?" - and so on. To sum it up - if you are determined to snatch a life-destroying defeat from the jaws of victory (for the lack of better words) and pay a ton of $$$ for it, then Andrew is your top choice.
