Furthermore, the explanation I received--stating that a guilty outcome was reached because my driving record was already tarnished--contradicts outcomes I have experienced with other attorneys for similar charges.

At my hearing, I didn't receive the worst penalty I could have, so ultimately, my outcome was technically favorable. Still, it wasn't ideal, and It never really seemed at any point that Choyce did anything for me that I couldn't have done myself. If you get a citation for a much lighter violation, or have a more complex situation, Choyce may be the right option for you, but my recommendation is to drive safe, drive legal.
