I absolutely love this petsmart location. I have been coming to this location for awhile, my babies are always excited to come in and always leave smelling and looking amazing. The ladys who work there morning and afternoon always greet with kindness. Ever time i come in for toys or food with my babies when I have them tag along, they easily recognize them and come up to say hello. These old reviews on this grooming salon are very wrong on how these people treat these babies when they do it with kindness and love. Shame on you people !!!!!!! read more

This review is in regard to Grooming... I would NOT recommend. I have a poodle mix dog and she had a small knot on her chest about the size of a nickel. I gave permission to cut shorter but try to save her hair. They completely shaved her all over which was NOT necessary. The hair on her head is choppy and uneven and they cut her legs. She had been groomed multiple times before at other places and has never had anything like this. Not to mention way overpriced. Save yourself and go somewhere else for grooming! read more

Bummed - but we crossed our fingers, hoped for the best & made a bunch of calls, one of which was to Paige who very patiently discussed her background, the services they offered (without any hardsell) & also asked what our expectations were with grooming. No one else did that. The items are typically well stocked; albeit, I more often than not order online for in-store pick-up. Tip: This option often allows for additional cost savings. The staff are always courteous and helpful. The store is clean and the layout allows for easy maneuvering throughout the store. Peggy Adams Shelter joins forces with PetSmart to encourage cat adoption; therefore, one can often sneak in some Kitty love too. Really terrible customer service at the grooming department! Here are 2 questions that would take maybe 20 seconds to ask on the phone and would not have made me feel such animosity towards this company: 1) Do you have an account and 2) if you don't have an account, do you have the vaccination records with you. Had they asked when I called I may have been able to accommodate. But no. They are waaay too busy for that. (There were 3 groomers consulting one dog) Guess what? I called PetCo and guess what the first thing they asked ? Do you have her vaccination records? Apparently it's too much for PetSmart people to ask that question while you're on the phone. When they told me it would ' be a while' for them to track the records I questioned why in the world would you not ask those questions when I called? Well apparently they were too busy. Then, they start berating me for not wanting to wait and acting like a condescending bunch there. Won't go back ! And they're still sending me text messages. read more

Honestly really disappointed with the service at this location. I walked in to look at kittens (as a very interested potential purchaser) and asked multiple people numerous times if someone could allow me back to play with the kitten and see his personality a little bet more. This was shortly before 7pm so they were not closing soon. After over 20 minutes of waiting and seeing a few workers close by, I didn't have time to wait any longer and left. I would hope they don't do that to more people or you'll never find them homes. read more

My dog loves coming to get groomed at this Petsmart. Every time we go he is so excited to see Nina!! Cami is a great addition and was welcoming when I came in at the desk. She talked and interacted with my dog as if he was her own. Nina.... where to start.... she deals with my overly hyper dog with ease. My elderly mother took her red poodle to be groomed a week ago. Today my mother had to bring the dog to vet because pet smart put a bow around the dogs ear and caused blood to stop flowing into ear. Now the dogs ear is getting removed and this store is claiming its the dogs fault . They say the dog must have moved the rubber band the bow was attached to and its not there fault. Insane !!! They blame a dog when they put the rubber band on the dogs ear. Please stay away from this location. Horrible how they treat animals. Should be criminal !! Update: ear was removed this morning. Considering the location I wondered why the rating was 3 stars for this store. As we arrived (early) and were promptly greeted I still continued to wonder why 3 stars. Anete was the groomer for our puppy Bella and she seem nice enough. The appointment was for 1hr according to the site so we looked around in the store then opted to go to another store in the area. After close to 1hr time frame we returned and was given our invoice to pay. Bath and nail grinding was our selected service with cost around $47.00. So while my husband watched our little puppy get groomed I went and paid. I returned to the grooming area to where he was and the woman who provided the invoice informed us that there was 30 minutes more of service time. I told her I thought since the invoice was given then Bella was just about finished. Nope that was not the case. We were invited to come back when she's ready. So we went back out in the mall to shop AGAIN! Now I understand the 3 stars. This lady justified why 2 stars is warranted. I will say this is not the only PetSmart I've used for grooming. Most do not present you with a bill until you are done. What if the service is in dispute? I've paid for it as though I'm happy with it. In this service type of business this seems backwards to proceed this way. I hope a corporate level person reads this review and address this with the staff. The actual groomer was great but the invoicing lady there on 12/30 around 3pm needs some customer service schooling. Glad we don't live in the area so when we get home our puppy will get her normal routine of being groomed at home. Will not re-visit this location. The last PetSmart location used was in Port St. Lucie and they were a cut far above this Palm Beach Lakes grooming salon. read more

The food I always purchase for my dog was not in stock when I arrived at the store. The cashier came and helped me and she found the food I was looking for in the stock room. The manager on duty, Chris, helped me as well and found the food I was looking on one of their top shelves in the stockroom. I had such an amazing experience with the staff at this Petsmart. Kayla, Amanda, and Paige were so sweet and accommodating to our three energetic girls. They were prompt, knowledgeable, and did such beautiful work. All of our pups looked amazing and were so happy after. Paige was especially impressive. Never F***ING again will I bring my dogs to this BS place. One of my dogs is a fluffy dog and I like to keep her fluffy. I made sure before I took her there to comb her out a bit and cut the small little knots she had. There was no need for them to cut her as low as they did and then said that she had a few knots in the back of her leg. They do not call to tell you if they will be cutting her different from what was discussed when she was dropped off. So, flipn' mad you have no idea. I called Petsmart to talk to the groomer and she was already gone for the day. Then both dogs come back smelling like eggs cause they use soap with no fragance. They want to up charge for every small thing. Now, I know better, taking them to a small groomer who cares about the dogs and how they look. Took my puppy for the beginning training class. Mediocre at best. We learned a few things, nothing signifiant to add to our training already in place. Helpful for a first-time dog owner. Took my dog to be groomed this weekend. The groomer called me and ranted, "the dog looks bad, I can't fix it; I can shave her all to the same length." She cut her too close. In my online booking; I gave written instructions; do not cut too close. I explained why. When I arrived; I explained the same. The groomer complained that my puppy peed and she had to wash her twice. Well, that'll be the 2nd and last time. Luckily, her coat will grow. Three stars because my dog still had a coat, at least. read more

You get what you pay for. Petsmart probably has the cheapest grooming around but it's also the lowest quality job. Unfortunately, I have to find the lowest price because it's pricey with four animals that need grooming, but I'm starting to think I want to pay the extra someplace else to get better quality. Nina does a good job but everybody else there must be amateurs because my animals come out with a crappy haircut - some spots have long hair, some is short, they don't do around the face very good. The last time I went, my dog had a knick on her paw from the clippers and it ended up getting infected two days later - she was limping and it was swollen. Cost me $70 at the vet. I will probably continue to go because like I said it's pricey with 4 animals - I will just always ask for Nina. read more

First I must say that some of the people on this site have potty mouths,Next I have to say that people are human and they make mistakes,so get over if your dog hair do came out too short,hair grows...such silliness over a dogs haircut,...I have been going to this PetSmart for over a year and everyone is extremely nice and helpful,in regards to the groom shop it like anything else ,some groomers are better than others,this grooming shop is by far the best price around,so go pay 90 dollars for a dog's haircut and I will stay with Petsmart for a 40+ haircut for my dog,who cares if it's an inch too short,I am 50 dollars richer and that only means I can get in for a grooming appointment that much sooner..Thank you Petsmart for making my dog look beautiful and saving me money also.... read more
