Walked into the store about 9 in the morning and the floors were filthy. Went to get our fur baby groomed. The staff was very rude and argumentative. Not friendly at all. We left very disappointed and tried to make an appointment on line. The web site was not working so we called and tried to make an appointment. Again the grooming staff was rude and told my wife she was blocked from grooming in Weatherford. I wish there we negative points I could give. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would encourage everyone to avoid this location and get your fur babies groomed elsewhere. read more

Bath was fine the first time, had her groomed the second visit (bath, trim, nails cut) will NEVER take our girl there again. Paid before we saw her. Teddy bear cut for our doodle was awful, but not even the worst part. Got her home and realized her back paw was horribly bloody. They shaved her rear end bald, no telling what they cut or hurt there. Day 2 she's still not eating or drinking , chasing her tail in pain. If you live your pup like we do, spare them the pain. We've felt like horrible pup parents leaving her there for 5+ hours for a simple bath, trim and nail cut that we requested. Do NOT send your baby here. It's too bad that I can't give zero stars, because I definitely would. First off, the reviews are not blown out of proportion, the staff most certainly has bad customer service skills. The fish department is absolutely atrocious, both the fish aspect and the rude employees. Terrible people skills all around. You don't talk to people in a condescending manner, but these employees could care less. I'm surprised they have any business at all. Terrible customer service! Tried to get some fish for our tank that we have had set up forever. Tried to get the same fish we have always had and was denied because they weren't "the right ones" yet we have been getting them from this location this entire time and encouraged by their employees to get them. The lady was also very demeaning to us and had an attitude. She talked to us like we were stupid and beneath her. We also stood there for a good 15 minutes before I walked up to her to ask her for help. As she walked passed us numerous times and didn't even acknowledge us. Very rude and dismissive. I didn't catch her name but she had brown hair and wore a pony tale and a nose piercing. We will never be back. Spending $100s there every month and this seems like a slap in the face. read more

If I could I would give 0 stars. Walked in and ask for help with the fish and the old heavy guy was very rude. He had a horrible attitude. We told him what fish we wanted and he didn't even get the right ones. Note ones fishes tail was damaged he gave us. At this point we were just ready to leave. There were multiple dead fish in tanks. I've been here a few times and have been unimpressed with the staff. I don't plan on going to this location ever again. The first time I took my dog with me the cashier gave my small dog a TON of large treats at checkout. While I understand this is a nice perk, it was way too many and I wish she would have asked permission before giving her more than one. Another time the cashier acted like I was mean when I told her my dog could only have one treat. I spoil my dog at home but I don't know what treats they use so I didn't want her to go overboard. But the straw that broke the camels back was when I returned something and the computer messed up and the cashier didn't give me the correct amount back. He didn't understand when I tried to explain to him so I had to ask for the manager. When she didn't understand (and seemed to be accusing me of being wrong) she got the head manager. He finally understood and issued the correct refund. But the damage was done. It took too long and too many employees to fix a simple problem. And the customer service from the front line employees was not good. Computer problem or not, a smile and an apology would have gone a long way. The only reason I give this store 2 stars instead of 1 is they have a large selection of chew toys, which is hard to find in Weatherford. We travel a lot with work. My dog has been to many groomers. Including several Petsmarts. This is by FAR the worst grooming I have ever seen. While I was waiting I watched one girl roughly brushing a yorkie, pulling his hair so bad he kept yelping and trying to bite her. Another girl was using the shaver. The dog was yelping and jumping. The blade was obviously dull. When I said something, she said "oh no , he's just being a weirdo". It was dirty. They put a filthy collie up on a table COVERED with another dogs clumps of fur. I felt sick to my stomach, knowing what my poor girl must have just experienced. They bring her out and I'm just speechless. No blow dry, her hair is uneven and crooked and there are actually tangles in her tail. I asked for a rounded teddy bear face and they cut it short, like a poodle. :-o And her nails are ground down SO short and all jagged. AND she stinks. I'm just flabbergasted. I thought I was on candid camera or something. UGH. Just the worse! read more

Just left this store. Only one cashier, I stood in line forever, the person in front of me had so much stuff it costed $700. Finally another cashier came. I'm second in line, the cashier in my line had left to search the store for something, and the new cashier asked the people behind me to be checked out in her line first. I needed fish and supplies as well as some info on tropical greenery and she is the wiz kid on all the above. The service there was second to none and I saw her waiting on three or four people at once.......professional and very helpful.....she is the reason why people pick PETSMART for all their pet needs. I will be going back.......she also advised me on how they do pet adoptions every Saturday! How cool is that? So, attention PETSMART CEOs.......promote this young woman and give her a raise ASAP! Long story, but...I have taken my 2 dogs to petsmart grooming in Weatherford several times over the last few years & never had a problem until today. I booked online & called this morning to double check to make sure the appointments were set because sometimes the online service does not work. They said the appointment was set & we were good to go. I drove 20 minutes from my house to Weatherford only to be told that they couldn't do my husky because she apparently was unruly the last time we brought her. This was news to me as no one mentioned it the last time we took her & no one mentioned it when I called to confirm the appointment. Aaron, the manager was not helpful AT ALL. Apparently Lauren is the one who did her last time and put the note in their system saying "Aspen wasn't a good fit" but neglected to let us know when we picked her up. ALSO Aaron said he was "just about to call me" @ 1:25 when my appointment was at 1:30. That's a little late to let me know. Funny that we have never had a problem any other time or place we took her. I think it was just that Lauren was not a good groomer and Aaron is not a good manager. My recommendation is to NOT take your dogs here for grooming! read more

Took a very small dog for a bath. Dog grooming section was busy and very dirty. Staffed with at least 5 staff members, and busy. I received a call 5 minutes after I turned the animal over for the bath. The staff was afraid to bathe this small animal and turned her away. She was not barking, was not aggressive in any way and displayed nothing but fear when I returned. My advice: Don't go here, not worth the trouble, if they don't have the skills to pick up a small dog and give it a bath, then maybe they should find another business to be in. I have a feeling they didn't want the business as they said in the beginning it would take them up to 4 hours to bathe this dog. read more

Very poor experience. They sold me a chinese water dragon with pneumonia and metabolic bone disease. He lived approximately from 12-22 to 2-3. After over 400 dollars in vet visits. Apparently another they had sold had died as well because when my mom went to talk to them they said she'd called ( we hadnt ) trying to return all the stuff. So obviously they have sold more sick lizards than just mine. When asked for a refund , just for the lizard , with the backing of my vet and all the papers from visits , they told us we could have googled how to properly take care of our pet and said they only sell healthy ones. Which is a lie. Wasn't sentimental or helpful in the least. The girl with the manager rolled her eyes and eventually walked off while my mom was talking to him. I don't know why good customer service is so hard for her? Maybe she thinks the world owes her something. Also in the beginning we were pretty much starving it from wrong information. They told us to feed it two crickets a day. Which led to me having to tube feed it because it ended up in such bad shape. Fortunately my first vet visit was 12-31 so my pet didn't starve to death. I did everything possible to try to save him and spent almost 1,000 dollars trying to get everything right. Only to find out he was already dying when I bought him. I don't even know how to tell everyone how connected I was to this little guy. Never setting foot inside this store again. read more

The best! I travel a lot for work, so I've taken my dog to a ton of different groomers in the last 6 years and this is by far the best. They're a little higher than average, but not too bad. I have a 90lb lab mix, and she's never been as shiny and soft after a bath as she has here. They do great with her nails too. I hate places that don't file them after they clip. When you have a large dog, those things can be weapons if not filed down! I also feel like she stays that cleaner/smelling nice much much longer than other places too. The staff is always super sweet and helpful. I now wait until I have a weekend home from the road to get her groomed just to have it done at the Weatherford PetSmart. read more
