Been using them for grooming for some time now, but this was the worst experience I've had. The tech (wish I knew her name but she had blue or purple hair) from the moment she walked up you could tell she didn't want to be there and hated her job. This was the first time they had a problem doing a na trim and I can guarantee it because of that ladies vibe. Even at pickup she just handed over my dog and walked off. She clearly doesn't belong there. Her vibe was awful and I'm sure the dogs pick up on it as well. I will request a tech I know is good use a different facility now on. read more

Their grooming is unorganized. I had two dogs with an appointment. They said they would call me when my first dog was done so I could bring the second one in. After an hour, I had not heard anything so I went in to check and he was done, crated most likely, but I had not been given a phone call. She said she went to go grab him. Since he is done, I give them my second dog and they say the same thing: they'll call me when he's done. Again, it had be an hour and no phone call. But that is how long it took my first dog to get done and they are the same breed. The second dog is even calmer than the first one is. So I figured he should be done. I go in and they say that she has to give anal gland expressions to another dog. This doesn't make sense because I had an appointment for my dogs to get done, so why would she be working on another dog? Maybe I misunderstood this and she was talking about my own dog. Regardless, they are not done with him yet so I wait outside. Another 45 minutes goes by and still no phone call. I had been waiting nearly 2 hours for a small 25 pound dog. My first dog only took an hour so I assumed it would be the same. I go back in to check because it had been a while and they said "Oh let me go get him". As if he has been ready and nobody called me again. Also, when I went back in, I heard my dog yelping and crying loudly. He is usually calm so I'm not sure why I heard this. I had a curbside pickup and called 3 times and no one answered. I have a sick 2 year old so I couldn't go in the store to get it. This is my second bad experience. Another time I picked up an order, the employee was extremely rude and acted like I was an inconvenience for having him walk to the curb to give me my purchase. They took really good care of my puppy Jake when he needed a haircut. We appreciate their care and concern.

Paid $76 for extra D shedding shampoo and grooming and a freaking bow and my dog came back without any bow and she's shedding all over the place. Also in the description of what I paid for is a "sanitary trim" but her "sanitary" parts weren't even cleaned let alone trimmed. I'm gonna have to clean it myself with her doggie wipes. I'm just sayin, this was NOT the $76 package I paid for. This was the cheapest one, at best. Very disappointed. Money is tight right now and I just wanted to do something nice for my dog. read more

Seems I have been banned from buying fish. I bought two gold fish and one died so I returned it, After looking at fish for about 15 to 20 min and trying to get TORY to answer questions and watching her roll her eyes at me when I did, I decided on another goldfish, then she told me I could not buy another fish because I did not bring a water sample. Not any fish, not a goldfish for my goldfish tank, not a guppy for my guppy tank, or an angel fish for my angel and tetra tank, no fish at all! How long will I be banned? they did not say. I can't even buy feeder fish, fish that are meant to take home and die I am not allowed to buy. Not sure if I was allowed to buy a cricket or not. I wonder if I can a fish from another Pet smart. BTW the other gold fish I bought from the same tank and is in the same quarantine tank is doing great, I told the Manager and TORY I would be returning her as I no longer plan on giving Petsmart my money but when I came home and she bumped her nose at me I decided no way I will take her back, she would probably die in their care, I will get her a tank mate from elsewhere. So if you get a fish from petsmart and it dies within the 14 days of the return policy don't return it unless you never plan to buy from there again. I am sure if you bring a water sample they will tell you your water is bad. PLEASE NOTE: this review is for the Pet Smart on I-240 south OKC. can not blame the other Pet Smarts for TORY. 3 stars. They are certainly convenient and have a pretty good selection and it's a clean store, but the service isn't always there. And sometimes it's very poor. The grooming is horrible, even after giving them a second chance. He had peed in the kennel while waiting for me and they didn't rinse his paws when getting him out to return him to me. There were also several services that weren't provided that were listed in the package I purchased. I will do most of my pet shopping elsewhere, but when in a pinch they work just fine. read more

I had my rescue poodle " Sunday Rose" groomed at the Petsmart on I 240, Okla City. The poor dog was just a matter mess. Her legs were twice the side they should have been. Could not even make out where her paws began. Was heartbreaking. I dropped her off last week and the wonderful groomers there performed a doggie miracle on her. They did such a top- notch job. My poodle absolutely loves Petsmart especially this location and the MWC location. We get all her organic/natural food and treats here, and she gets complimented by lots of people both young and old! She especially loves the little girls that are at Petsmart usually on the weekends. I mean which poodle doesn't like to get complimented? Anyways, the staff aren't that helpful or friendly, but then again I don't really care since, Lucy my poodle knows what she wants usually. The banfield hospital at this location is the worst. They do not care about your pet. I had an appt scheduled for 5/21 at 230, showed up at 2 and was told that they had released my appointment because they didn't hear from me by phone for a phone confirmation. My dogs name was still on the welcome board. I asked if they had emailed, texted, or sent anything through the app, to which, the girl said no, only the phone call. I also had no voicemails from banfield, Karissa stated that my phone never went to VM, but i had 2 people call while speaking to her and they both stated that my phone was indeed going to VM. I had the email from banfield stating my appt was already confirmed. Karissa spoke to the vet, Dr. Rupert, and the vet stated they could not squeeze me in, even though they could see my confirmation through email. I was then told that my email confirmation didn't count because they did not talk to me on the phone. When I asked where this policy was located so that the customer could find it, Karissa told me that she didn't know, she just knew it was the policy. I asked her to please find it for me. She again went to the back and spoke to the Vet, when she came back out she stated that it was just a policy created by the vet and the office manager. So, customers are required to follow a policy that they know nothing about and is not posted anywhere. I have been bringing my pets here for 5 years. I have never missed an appointment. In the 35min we all spent arguing about the policy, they could have seen my pet for the appt I had booked a week ago! This office cares nothing about animals. read more

Friendly. Well stocked. But.. There were 6 fancy mice with battle wounds-1 mouse was beating up all the others and blocking them from food supply-also fithy cages. I reported it. They kinda laughed like it was a joke and said they would take care of it. Also, not their issue, but lots of paranormal activity accrued. My son and I witnessed treats flying off the shelf and a cart flying across an ale and nobody was there or near. Weird. read more

Service was awful! Dropped my puppy off at 9:22 am for a puppy trim appointment scheduled for 9:30. The website said it would take 30 mins to an hr. Once we arrived they said it would take 1-2 hrs because they were busy. Funny thing there wasn't any other dogs there with 5 employees. Fast forward 2 hrs we get out puppy back and for his puppy trim he only received a nail clipping in bath. When the entire purpose for the visit was for a trim. Now we are at the register and the coupon did not work so the cashier graciously still applied the discount and told us if we go any one more toy we would receive a free toy basket. We get out of line and go find another toy. Once we returned the "Manger" Lance rung us up and decided he would not honor his employees decision to apply the discount and also not give us the basket. Needless to say I will be driving across town to a different pet store from now on. I will NEVER go to this establishment again. Horrible customer service and the groomers were basically just hanging out wasting time!. read more

Cannot believe this is the same place by reading the reviews. I have used this place for years for grooming and occasionally buying supplies here. Every time I have been there, it has been a really nice experience. I am not in the dog training there and I really love the trainer and what we are doing. This store is really good. read more

Manager refused to give exchange on items I bought I even with receipt I had. Said had to go back on card I purchased with. I explained my card was stolen and that I had just received my new card. Looked at me said it didn't matter. On receipt it say if you use debt card you can get cash instead, I explained I was wanting money back just exchange for merchandise that works. Don manager on duty said to just keep it and bring it back when store manager was there. Very rude about it and when we where leaving he was outside, started talking about us as we where getting into our car. read more

We take our dog here for grooming, and to go to Banfield: The Pet Hospital. We have had a couple off issues with the grooming department, but nothing HUGE. The employees are all nice to us, and everyone wants to rub our Siberian Husky's belly. read more

The manager Mark is a JERK! We had been taking our puppy here for training (wonderful by the way! the trainers are really nice, patient and want to help you train your dog.) We were trying to get our puppy off one food and onto another. She ended up getting really bad gas & diarrhea from it and several associates told me that if the puppy won't eat it, that you can bring the food back with a receipt (just dont give them back an empty bag). I called before hand and the manager said, "I'll do it this once. We don't do this kind of thing." Um, apparently you do. I got there and the young girl cashier was very nice and even said "yep, we take it back if it didn't sit well with your pet." She got the manager and he was rude from the get go. I told him I was the one that called and again he said, "fine, we'll take it back. just this once though." Whatever jerk. Luckily she's doing fine on the food she's on now so we won't be having to do this again. But still! The associates are all very nice! I feel bad they have such a douchebag for a manager. When you're in training, any of them are more than willing to help out with "sit and greet". read more

This store is clean but the service is horrible! Before I begin I'll state this review isn't from a recent experience but an experience with this store nonetheless. A couple of years ago I lost one of my gerbils after a battle with an infection. We were all devastated, her sister was horribly depressed. Since they need a partner we went looking for another female gerbil. We got to this store and asked an employee, she told us to hang on and she'd get the manager to see if we could order one. This guy comes out and I ask about gerbils, he got extremely cocky and said "Ew no! We don't sell those." I said "Can we order one? Ours just passed and her sister is bad depressed." He smiled and said "I don't care. We quit selling them and I'm glad! I've got bit by several and they're just worthless in my opinion." Right in front of my 5 year old son... I haven't been back into any PetSmart since nor will I. There's other options. Someone with that mentality could easily be hurting or killing animals he deemed worthless. read more
