Several different types of hay . Always at a good sale too!

It's a very big & clean pet smart but it definitely needs improvement with employees. The check out desk is always ran by a rude sales person. I truly wish people would apply for jobs they love because it really shows when you actually get into working. The stock was very nice and neatly placed all around the store. There was a low amount of animals all over the store at the moment so it was quiet. They have hay marked at a Buy one get one half off but it's never registered in the system so you'll pay full price unless you mention it to them.

We can now take Moose off leash comfortably knowing she will come when called, sit and stay even in busy environments. I feel like we are happier humans and she is a happier dog thanks to Sam's help. The training style used was also based on rewarding Moose with play rather than food or negative reinforcement, which I really appreciate and didn't know much about before. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. Highly recommend Dog Wizard and Sam!

Probably my highest review ever for a service I haven't used yet. hear me out…read more I just rescued a Rat Terrier puppy called Raffi from Texas, who showed signs of abuse and trauma upon arrival. I've parented/known many rescues in the past and never seen anything like the fear she exhibited. fully freaked out, I shot a message to Atlanta Dog Wizard with an SOS to help. Kat quickly got in touch and we had about a 30-min call, which provided me with INVALUABLE insight into my urgent situation. That information she gave me--keep in mind, I had paid no money for her advice or training to this point--gave me some practices I could use, right away, to make Raffi feel more comfortable. I still might officially use Atlanta Dog Wizard in the future, if Kat is any indication how the company does things. She has a passion for rescues and turning around challenging situations and making dogs (and humans) shine. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I was very excited when I first met with my trainer. Unfortunately, tools are not something that I…read moredid not necessarily want to use. I, myself, a novice, not a trainer, had been using a prong collar. I was jarred when she used the prong to correct my 10 month old puppy, and said he was in shock because she kept snapping the leash. That was a bit too much for me. However, when I asked the trainer what method they used, and I was told the LIMA method. I was confused as to why corrections with tools were being used. After reaching out to a few trainers, this is what I have found about the LIMA METHOD; There are technically 2 views on what this term means. The original definition has a hierarchy of things that must be done before going to usage of tools of discomfort such as prong collars and the like. The newer more common conversation has left the hierarchy behind and does not allow for use of such tools at all. So I was definitely not understanding why the trainer seem led to be using the prong as a crutch to train. I was only using it for walking, and eventually would have liked to not use a prong collar at all. The trainer was definitely professional, but using tools to walk, place, sit, basically give any command was not something I was interested in. At one point when she kept snapping the leash on my youngest puppy, teaching him place I expressed that I had taught my other puppy how to be in place without doing that. My hope was that they would see if I can do it without snapping, a leash and a prong collar on the dog that they can do it too but the same behavior kept happening. I also let the trainer know that my other pup would bite if you tried to take food away that he found on the street, but we were not using that scenario at all when training. Since I am not a trainer, I can only go by what other trainers have told me. They have told me that unless I have aggressive dogs that are biting or trying to hurt others that prong collars are really an antiquated tool as is the e collar. Definitely no hard feelings. Just not the training method for me.

When we followed Franck's methods she caught on much faster than we did! Franck started training her when she was all of 3 months and 3lbs! I'll admit that I was extremely skeptical at first. I was afraid that using the prong and e-collar would cause aggression, fear, or alter her personality in some way. Let me tell you...it didn't in the slightest! I've only seen her become more trusting and loving. She's basically a Velcro dog at this point. Lol! Getting her properly trained at such a young age was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I can't tell you how many times I've been complimented on how well behaved she is...ESPECIALLY for a toy size breed. I can take her anywhere because she's so well behaved and sweet. She's outgoing and friendly to everyone she meets. She's such a well adjusted pup! More than anything we've gained confidence as dog owners and it's great to know that Rain has a trainer for life should we ever need him. It was a pretty big investment but on the other side of things I consider it money well spent!

Rocco, since he was 4 weeks old, lived in a house where he was exclusive and went to the patio to relieve himself and play and practically did not go out to anything. Only walks once in a while. A few months ago we moved out of to a 22nd floor of a pet friendly condominium where I have to take him out for a walk and for potty. Suddenly, he's behavior changed. He didn't like to be around other dogs and was very anxious and barking a lot. This led me to hire Franck and I have to say it was the best money I have invested so far. Franck with his patience, professionalism, and kindness made Rocco now become a happier and more relaxed dog. And most important...made him follow commands and behave. I'm so sooo happy with the results and I recommend Franck 1000%. If you are looking for a professional who's responsible, know what he's doing, with patience, and commitment... HE'S THE ONE!!!

If I could give ZERO I would...BEWARE! Please take your dog…read moreanywhere but here. We signed our puppy up for a 2 week board and train hopeful to get her to walk on a leash better. She had a lot of energy and wanted to play with everyone. She was a regular at doggy daycare and never had any issues or reactivity. Everyone loved her. We worked on basic commands at home, but leash pulling and distractions were an issue. After reading reviews and the 100% guarantee spiel, we dropped our girl off with high hopes. I emailed to check in on Zura, we were told we would get updates daily, and I do not feel the trainer was very professional. Several times he sounded too busy, or was out doing other things. 2 long weeks later, we picked up our pup and I was shocked. She was extremely underweight and came home acting off. She seemed nervous and unsettled. The trainer sent snippets of videos everyday and I asked what our dog was doing the rest of the time, I never got a response. My husband reached out to the trainer and the owner and they gave this speech about her adjusting and being consistent. The day after she came home, my husband took her on walk and she freaked out. She was screaming and was super anxious. Naturally we contacted the owner and at first she was extremely condensing and unprofessional. She yelled at me and implied I didn't know what I was talking about. I have actively rescued and rehabilitated dogs for the past 20 years. This is the first time I had ever outsourced training due to health issues. After a heated conversation she decided that "She wasn't happy with our dogs board and train and she would like to take her for a week". JoAnne had our dog for 4 days. Our dog came home with welts on her neck (both sides) from the shock collar and a scab on her back leg. We took her to the vet and she stated that it looked like our pet had been mistreated. Our dog seemed very high strung and agitated. I would take the ecollar off at night or when she was in her kennel, and she was very reluctant and skittish when I tried to put it back on. The trainer told my husband if our dog wasn't listening to turn up the number on the ecollar. It didn't work, it just made our dog panic. When we first started training, we asked about the ecollar and how high it got. They said it was like a tens unit, and didn't hurt them. That is not true. They turn it up very high and told us to do the same. Our dog left to the board and train a goofy puppy and came back extremely fearful and anxious. Our dog had been crate trained since she was 10 weeks old. After her board and train, she started screaming in the crate, and digging at her bed. She also had several accidents in the crate, she had never displayed that behavior before. My heart was broken for our girl. I reached out to a K9 Behavioral Specialist and after assessing our dog, they agreed that our dog had been mistreated. She associated the ecollar with punishments' rather than positive reinforcement. This place does not care about the wellbeing of your dog, they care about money. It is a franchise, and perhaps they have some locations and trainers who actually know what they are doing, but not here. After everything, there was zero chance we were taking our dog back to them and expressed this to Bryan and JoAnne, she stated "your dog will never be off leash, your are going to have to accept that." I challenged the 100% guarantee and requested a refund. We never heard from them again. The guarantee is not real. They never apologized or showed any concern or empathy for our dog. I have several videos that they provided while she was at training that are uncomfortable to watch. They try to conceal the shocker in their hand while filming, but if you pay close attention, you could tell our dog was constantly being shocked to comply. Please take your pet elsewhere. We entrusted our girl to their care and it is the biggest mistake I have ever made. It changed her completely. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE! Video of Zura after picking her up. More to come https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoUcih4dzCc ***I have attached the text of the date we picked our dog up from the second training session (4 days) and the vet afterwards. I have wanted to have and train a female GSD (German shepherd dog) all my life since I was raised from birth with a female GSD, Heidi. My wife was not convinced that boarding for training was how she wanted to have Heidi trained, but after meeting with Chase Haggerman at Georgia K9 NTC and our beautiful Heidi nipping her heels with 3 month old teeth, she agreed to enrolling Heidi in the basic obedience program. I must say thought the week Heidi was there was not easy for us, but it was tolerable knowing who's hands she was in with GAk9. They have an incredible facility with excellent staff.
