Very disappointing experience. I had a terrible experience yesterday (11/10) while picking up my puppy after a bathing and trimming appointment. As I arrived and stood outside the door, I suddenly heard a grooming lady yelling and shouting at my puppy very aggressively. I rushed in to see what was happening, and she told me my puppy was biting her. But the moment she saw me, her attitude completely changed -- she started acting nice and gentle toward my puppy, which felt very strange and uncomfortable. No pet parent should ever have to witness their pet being treated that way. I truly hope the management looks into this and ensures better care, patience, and professionalism from their staff in the future read more

When u went in for my mobile order the female cashier with long blond hair was rude and not helpful. I did happen to go back when other cashiers were there and they were friendly and helpful. The first experience seemed as the cashier was talking to a friend and disnt want to be interrupted. They didn't even look when I walked in, because they couldn't be disturbed. The customer service here was honestly disappointing. There weren't enough employees available, and no one checked in or asked if I needed help at any point. But when I asked for help the kind lady walking in for her shift went and clocked in really fast and helped me. The cashier didn't acknowledge me, didn't speak, and gave off the impression that she didn't want to be there. On top of that, she was having a full conversation through her headset while checking me out, which came across as really rude and unprofessional. It's Thursday 6/27/24 at about 3:00pm. Lots of free parking. The parking lot was clean as well as the store. The store is well lighted. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The shelves were well stocked and everything was easy to find. They had a fish delivery today and the associate was taking out the bags of fish and placing them in the aquariums. I happened to see a bag of neon tetras with about 2/3 of the fish dead. Seeing dead anything puts a scare into me. I do realize that you may lose some during shipping but don't display it. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE service, I brought in my small Maltese mix with very thin hair, they completely shaved her and left her bald claiming "matted hair" they also didn't cut her nails and still charged us full price, they charged a "de-matting" fee and still shaved her, ridiculous price and even worse service. read more

If I could give 0 stars - I would!! Came to pick up my dog and when he was brought out his underside from the front to back was soaked. He was cold and smelled like pee. I went to pick him up and the guy who bought him out said "oh he peed and pooped on himself" I of course was upset because why did I just pay for a service to walk out with him worse than how he came? He saw that I was upset and said if I had time that he would wash him quickly and dry him. All while he's trying to dry him with a towel. I waited an extra 15 min for him to be washed again. He came back out still wet. I just picked him up and left. I won't be returning to this location at all. The fact that the employee thought it was ok to bring my dog out soaking wet in his pee and poop and expected me to be ok with it leave like that is totally unacceptable and unprofessional! read more

Took our three cats there today, cost about $80 each but they were so well cared for. One got scared of the noises and had to get re washed but josh was so sweet to them and you can tell he cares. Getting three back to back appointments was difficult which is why we came here and not rainbow location. I would definitely trust them again with our little ones read more

This definitely wasn't the best PetSmart I've ever visited. Kind of a very poorly managed store. It feels like more of a warehouse. And, almost abandoned. 90% of the live display tanks are empty of anything live. And besides the warehouse section with an abundance of dog supplies (the rest were 30% feline & 20% any other species), a lot of the toys & more "cosmetic" merchandise is bare. Price tags are also hard to find when many are ripped off or entirely missing. There were employees on the floor, but most seemed already busy or distracted on their headset they couldn't be bothered. ...but, the worst was trying to check out. For how desolate & abandoned the store felt, it seems everyone was already in line to check out. And, ONE register open. For a line of 12+. When a customer asked if another register could be opened, the cashier helping me was slightly rude to her- snapped back "we're short staffed", while calling in to her headset for help. (Please save the fake customer service voice in my direction after witnessing true colors- I now know how you REALLY feel about me, also because I used to work retail.) And I found it odd they let the register line get so lengthy when someone from the floor came up within 30 seconds to open another line. And, with a REALLY upbeat attitude like he saved the day... yet waited until customers got pissed. Odd. So, where is management, here? It seems like there are some obvious issues. I can't say I'd go out of my way to return. This happened to be on my route back to the hotel, looking for some certain items for kitties before I trek back home- this was basically a mistake. She was so incredibly knowledgeable about this animal, it was so great! Every question I had, she answered perfectly! The store is not as well supplied as I'd expect. I came in with my puppy that's 2.0lb and they had hardly any toys or snacks for his size. Walmart has only few isles for pets but a large range of tiny inexpensive toys for little dogs like mine. Then lots of items didn't have price tags and then when there were different brands, the cheapest were always out so that way if you're desperate you'll be forced to get the expensive one. I got 1 small toy and 1 small snack. They don't sell dog towels so I guess for that and all other stuff that was just too expensive here I'll go on amazon. read more

Got my Lucy groomed yesterday and I don't understand what they did to the top of her head. I attached before and after pics so you can see what she normally looks like. She now looks ridiculous. I know it's just hair and it'll grow back but we paid like $70 I believe for her to look like this?? PETSMART, THE WEST SHOPPES at 2140 NO. RAINBOW BlVD., LAS VEGAS, NV. 89108 (702) 631-8422 I made an appointment on Sunday, 5/12/24 at this shop to have my mixed terrier groomed (bath, cut, ears, teeth, nails, etc.: the works) for Monday, 5,13/25 at 1:30 pm. I arrived at 1:20 pm on Monday, 5/13/24. No one was in the grooming shop. I waited and waited. I yelled for help; no one came. I dialed their number while I was in the shop. No one answered the phone. Finally, I had to go into the store and get a person that was a helper, stocking the shelves. He went into the back of grooming to get some help after I waited for 10 minutes with no help. Brandi, a groomer, came out at exactly 1:30pm. I explained my situation: I had an appointment at 1:30pm and I was upset because no one was in the shop and no one answers the phone and the shop looked like a bomb went off in their (dog hair all over the floor; it looked like, at least, 5 dogs had been cut and the fur was all over the floor; no one had even bothered to sweep up. Makes you wonder about the health conditions there and what diseases, bugs, fleas, etc. are in there.) Brandi offered no apology what so ever; instead, she tried various excuses like we had a busy day (so that's my fault? Get help then. Don't make appointment when don't have the time or the help.) I told Brandi this was no way to run a business. I asked here when my dog would be taken: then, Brandy told me that the groomer for my dog wasn't even there yet! I have a 1:30pm appointment, no one in the office, no one answers the phone and the groomer isn't even there. I traveled 20 minutes to get here, and 20 minutes to back home. Still no apology; instead, Brandi says: we had go to lunch. Like I care about her lunch?!!!! I told her I was gonna go to YELP and let other customers know what a horrible business they run. Brandi said "Okay," liker she could care less. I left. On way back home, I called the store manager, Jack, On the phone. I told him this exact story, IN FULL. I said I would like some compensation for all my troubles like a free bath. Jack never offered an apology; He said he'd go in and check on the fur on the floor. He said, "No, I'm not gonna do that, we will re-book you for another day." I told him the same thing as Brandi that I was gonna log all this in on YELP. Jack said: "Go right ahead & have a nice day (said sarcastically, like he really cares about my day & said that to further irritate me. I realized that no wonder Bradi could care less about her job she's doing & knows won't get fired because THE TONE IS SET AT THE TOP. I took my 8 month old pomeranian for puppy wash n cut, the 1st time Debbie did a fantastic job so I went back a 2nd time in il Beginning of June. I pick my pommi up and at first I didn't see everything because they fluffed him out and hid what they did so when I got home I started seeing the errors or the bad hair cut they gave him so I'm not sure what happened if Debbi was the one that cut his hair or she past him on to some one else but the Whole right side of his face to the back of his ear was cut short and uneven like my 6-year-old granddaughter cut his hair and there was a big chunk missing from the back of his ear the rest of his Fur is not even like it Was the first time he got his haircut there ....So every time I brush his hair at home I see more more stuff And it makes me more and more angry I will never go to that location ever again petsmart on Stephanie I wasn't gonna call them or go up there or anything I Ended up calling today to complain about it "store manager" answered she told me to hold on then I guess went to an office and it was obvious that they put me on speaker. Plenty many fishies on sale. Wish the managers were a little more attentive to employees and customers needing assistance. There are a couple employees who are downright rude, but I haven't seen them since the new manager started. He seems to be running a tighter ship. I stopped buying my wild birdfood here, too many moths. The rest of the produdts seem great, Store is clean, no smell, and the fish tanks are well tended, if sparsely decorated. Hello, My fiance and I visited this Petsmart yesterday and we adopted a kitty from their little adoption room. We were there for a while and as we were conducting business with the adoption agency, the cashier there at the register was a lady with a deep voice and let me just tell you she was amazing with every customer! She even asked how we were doing and gave us a petsmart coupon book. She said in case you do some shopping for your new baby. We actually used this book and coupons in it. Well, the animals look active and healthy here, which is more than some other pet stores can say. Lots of rodents and birds, and an entire section of fish tanks to make your selection. Didn't pay attention to whether they had saltwater fish available. Came in initially looking for a timed feeder for my cat so that I wouldn't need to find a friend to feed him during a quick trip to California. Browsed the entire store looking for them but didn't encounter any sales associates aside from the one at the register. Finally found one in the dog section- and only one. And at three times the going rate online. You'd think a place that specializes in pet supplies would have more than one- at this rate I feel like I would have been better off going to Walmart. And it probably wouldn't have been $100 there. EDIT: Purchased the feeder, and my cat broke into it and ate a week's worth of food in less than 2 days. Returns only accepted with a receipt, but they are quick and painless. read more

This store was located where I was running errands today and my puppy needed some treats, so we popped in here to keep her happy. The store was very organized and it seemed as though the store was spring cleaning since a lot of bones were on sale. I was glad to be here to be apart of these sales. It is always wonderful to go shopping for something and your going to by it anyways and it's on sale. The store is very organized again by dividing the aisles for dog and cat boundaries with there food. When I paid for the order the cashier was highly professional and made small chit chat while we paid. She even added that when your using your card one can make a donation that goes straight to charity for our fury babies. I had to add to their cause, anything for the animals. Petsmart is always where I buy why puppies treats and bones since I know they are guaranteed and safe for my puppy to eat. read more

I shop here all the time but whatever manager closes on Thursday nights is extremely unprofessional. I arrived at 8:55 and he was guarding the door when I had an item with a receipt that I just wanted to return real quick. When I asked if the manager would just speak to me so I could explain I had a quick return to do with a receipt so there wouldn't be any hassle and I wasn't trying to shop around him and the other 3 employees I saw through the door all went to the back to be out of sight and refused to hear me out. Had he let me in at 8:55 I would've been out of the store before 9. I understand people want to go home and I would never be in a store pass the closing time but I ran over here because it says you guys are open till 9 pm. Super rude and disappointing. Hopefully whoever was in charge of tonight gets addressed for this or change your guys store hours to to 8:55 if that's when you guys close. !!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! Took my dog in for a basic nail trim and grind and ended up having to stop my service because they had my dog YELPING and CRYING! They tried telling me that "it happens when they see their owner" or that sometimes it's just like that (as do I agree). But I could hear him yelling from across the store before I even went in to check on him. My dog has has his nails done before and not once has he yelped or cried. I will be emailing whomever I need to and canceling my account with them. The small elderly woman in grooming refused to grind my dogs nails. after going to Petsmart for over 5 years for nail grinding i was never asked to make an appointment until I encountered this store who demands I make an appt and only offered 7am or 9am and not accepting this "big" job (we're talking about 3 chihuahuas btw), after 5pm when they close at 7pm and 9pm. When I told her was going to find another place for service she simply said, "OK", So, Petsmart, i'm taking my money to another pet store because your staff doesn't want to take it. and I tip very well. read more

Overall good experience. Booked my service on line, and dropped off my doggy. I had never been to a groomer before so I asked the process to pick her back up. I was told 2-3 hours and they would call. We started running some errands and at the one hour mark got a text saying she is ready. I know the amount of time may not be relevant but it did make me question if all services were performed. Then about an hour after I picked her up I get a call to come pick up my dog as she is ready. I explained I already had her home. So service appears to have been good, they were done ridiculously fast, and they were not aware the dog had been picked up. May give them another try. read more
