In general I don't support PetSmart stores because of the high markup on their prices. Generally everything is overpriced in the store. For example we bought 3 engravable dog tags here and they were like $12 each; afterward we were at Walmart and they had a tag machine with the same tags for $7 each. Don't get me started on how much pet food costs here! The staff was ok, but not very helpful. No one asked if we needed help finding something or if they could just generally help us. read more

She offered take my dog home and fix ir at home. I said that I don't want it so short her hair. is the first time I have this situation after 3 years. Paid $63 dollars for a special breed appointment ( English Bulldog) nails grinding not just clipped upgrade bath teeth brushing cologne bandana got back a wet dog smelling of wet dog clipped not ground down nails no bandana special shampoo? cologne? not unless they were both "eau de la stinky dog" i was asked to pay pror to getting my dog when i pointed out my invoice quoted a la cart pricing not the regular upgrade package .I got a new invoice then paid i did so asking them to make sure i got the upgrades i paid for . DO NOT USE ASHLEY AS A GROOMER! Utterly incompetent would be a compliment. I brushed out our German Shepherd for two days prior to taking him for a bath and brush. He smelled as he was kenneled for a week. 2.5 hours later he was returned to us smelling just as bad and blowing chunks of fur from his chest, hind quarters, and even when I ran my hand over his back. Ashely said "it's normal" and "dogs shed". She's you g and inexperienced but the fault is on Petsmart for allowing such inept persons to serve as groomers. I love this store. I come here often, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I feed my pet refrigerated food which is really hard to find/out of stock and I oftentimes will call and they will hold it for me, which is great! I have done curbside pickup a couple of times- once on a Saturday when the store and shopping plaza was slammed- and it was really quick, the people are always really friendly. Me and my boyfriend we were looking to adopt a ball python. We met all the requirements to adopt one, but when we went to ask them to get him out so we could adopt him we were refused. The person who we had to talk to told us we had to live in our own home. We already own 11 reptiles including; Bearded Dragon, Chameleon, Crested Gecko and Leopard Gecko. This is an amazing store with great staff!!! I don't post often but felt that this place deserved it and so do pet owners wanting grooming and pet supplies! Petsmart is definitely upping their game these days! I moved here a year ago tried another Petsmart and wasn't impressed very mediocre service at grooming and store selection was ok not exceptional. This Location is the best!!!! Clean, large selection of everything from pet shampoos to pet clothing for cats and dogs and I have dogs and cats :-) Their pricing is affordable and fair and they also finally got the customer rewards program and email/text communications for appointments and perks and more! Amen Petsmart it's about time! I shop Amazon a lot but now use the store more often due to competitive pricing and better selection + pet perks! Grooming ... well Rori is the groomer and she was fantastic! Probably the 1st Petsmart grooming on my Shih Tzu that really looked professional and sharp!! Had many others with others at other stores and so far thumbs up to Rori! She's very Caring, takes her time to do it right and she really knows her stuff, gave me advice and more too! I want to be really clear up front... the store itself is great. Wonderful selection of products and good prices. The store is always clean and the staff loves my dog. The store is also in a great location. Good parking. Being right next to Earth Fare means it's also easy to pick up some groceries while I'm getting dog food. That being said... the grooming services is the worst I've ever experienced in my life. I took my dog in for grooming one day instead of her regular place. Now... my dog isn't fancy. She's a border collie. She doesn't need "grooming" like some dogs. Just trimming back the hair between her paw pads so she doesn't slip on the hardwood floors, nails trimmed, and then a bath. I made the appointment online, which was very nice to be able to do. I showed up early since it was her first time and got her checked in. Close to when I was supposed to pick her up, I get a call. They said that she was ready to go, but was still drying, so asked if I could push back an hour. Sure... no problem. After an hour... I get another call saying the same. This continues until they were closing and I had to get my dog. I get her. She's not the least bit damp and I'm 99% sure that they did absolutely nothing to my dog. She didn't smell like she had been bathed. They were closing, so I didn't get into it with them, but nonetheless, I'll never take her back there again. Awful. read more

When I walked in the girl behind the grooming counter was helping a customer. She finished up and took the dog to the back and never reappeared! Finally After about 15 minutes I asked the store manager if someone was coming back. She eventually walked back out and in that time 2 more dogs walked in. I asked for a pawdicure which is walk-in services and was told I would have to wait till 1:00. I walked in around 12:15. By the time I waited 20 minutes to even get acknowledged I was not willing to wait another 20 minutes! Petsmart I will not be back! You need to get more employees because there are plenty of other pet supplies/grooming available! Very very disappointed! read more

I do not write reviews but I think this matter deserves attention. I've been a regular customer of Petsmart for the last 5 years since I've had my dog with no pressing issues. If I could give them zero stars, believe me, I would. I visited the salon over the weekend, only to discover my dog has fleas this week. Nothing else has changed in his routine, diet or normal care. I bring this to the attention of the salon manager who states very nonchalantly and apathetically, "We don't have a flea problem. We've never had a flea problem. Your dog could have left the salon and gotten fleas outside in 20 minutes". Really? Clearly you do have a flea problem. This is the same indoor dog who has NEVER had an issue, comes to your salon on Saturday now has an infestation on Tuesday. I will be reaching out to their corporate office for an immediate refund. Please DO NOT waste your time and money at this place, unless you're ok with fleas and mediocre customer service. read more

Worse than bad service: My father thought it would be a nice surprise to have our purebread Papillon pampered and pretty'd up while we were away on vacation. They cut her fringe and shaved her belly. Any groomer worth anything knows you do not cut Papillon fringe. Ever. My wife was in tears when we got our baby back. But worse that this devastating hack job which will never grow back, she began itching right away. She had developed a staph infection on her belly which our vet said could have been caused by dirty instruments used to shave her. It cost us a lot of money in vet bills and PetsMart didn't even offer to refund the cost of the "grooming" Avoid this business. Shame on you PetsMart! Shame! read more

The grooming service at this location is 5 star. Our dog is looked after amazingly by Angie Dukes, the service we receive is that of someone's personal business rather than a large corporate. She will always flex appointments based around our work and other commitments. I couldn't ask for anything more from Angie or the staff here. read more

I got 12 goldfish from this location and the next day 10 of them died. Before I got the fish I specifically asked 2 petsmart workers what kind of water conditioner and tank cleaners I needed... and their reply was "I don't know." I booked an appointment for my puppy on Christmas Eve online for his first haircut and a bath. When I arrived, I was told I needed to have a copy of his rabies vaccination paperwork, which I was uninformed we would need to bring. I had to drive all the way home to get it. I understand why this is required, however it should have been emphasized while booking. Because he is only 4 months old and just had his final shots, this was the first time he was allowed near other dogs for a haircut. They told me they try to get most dogs groomed at 8 weeks, however if a rabies shot is required, this is impossible since rabies shots usually aren't given until around 16 weeks. He is a labradoodle with fluffy puppy fur and did have a number of mats. The staff informed me that they would not be able to shave him if he was uncomfortable and that I would need to get him used to clippers. I felt it was their responsibility as the groomers to get him used to the process and use more than just a simple leash to keep playful dogs under control if necessary. My question in this situation is: what if they have been groomed multiple times but are still uncomfortable with or playful during the process? How is he supposed to get used to the experience if it never happens? Additionally, they did not bathe him because it would worsen the mats (that they hadn't removed). As everyone knows, salons are always busy on Christmas Eve because everyone wants their dog to be clean and groomed. They only had 3 people on staff but I only saw 1 grooming (even claiming they were short staffed on a busy day) and that the grooming could take up to 5 hours as opposed to the usual 3. Every time I saw someone "working" with a dog they were just sitting and not doing anything. Every time something happened at the desk, the groomer had to stop and go work the desk taking repeated breaks to answer phones and talk to costumers. Even if this is their policy, all of this should have been disclosed while I was booking. I will now be searching for a non-corporate/private groomer or a vet office. read more
