So I went to Pet Smart for a haircut for my golden doodle (female) .... So I was ask to bring her early 8am on 2/17/24 so I got her checked in and they saw in the computer how I wanted her cut so when I got her back,I was in shocked that they took away all the futures of my dog being a poodle !!!! They shaved her ears and her tail which I don't know why anyone would do that without m saying so,I know it would grow back but DAM .... I have been taking my Misty to PetSmart for grooming since we got her at 8 weeks old. Today I was livid and infuriated when I received a call one hour after dropping her off. The call was to tell me that Misty was ready to be picked up. I could not believe my ears. I had bathed her prior to dropping her off because she smelled like a dog but I didn't think it would expedite a 3.5 hour grooming process. Little did I know what I was going to walk into when I got there. She claimed that she had given my dog another bath and she was still too matted to comb her beard. Guess it was just easier to shave her face down, so she did. Never called and consulted the owner, that would have been me. She didnt bother combing hour her legs either they are just as full as ever she looks like a Bichon and not a miniature schnauzer, she only cut her back and left her skirt and we never do that in the summer because she gets too hot. So, she just did whatever she he wanted to do and this was her only customer. Well now I know why NIKKI only had one customer today. Since she only had the one it looks like she could have taken the necessary time to come out my Misty's beard instead of cutting in all the way off. At this point if I could give it a thumbs down I would, the only saving grace from the visit was Chris the Assistant General Manager who told me I wouldn't have to pay for this monstrosity of a cut and he would that he talk store manager. I hope they o Provide her with the necessary tools she needs to do her job properly. Because this, is unacceptable, these are our babies and you don't get to do whatever you want to do to them. Always a great experience! I take puppy in with me every time, there is plenty for her to sniff and everyone is so happy to see her. The grooming service was fantastic and she came home so soft and smelling like cookies. They always a have whatever I need, though a slightly bigger collection of doggie sweaters and coats would be cool. They have huge selections of everything else though and what I can't find in store, I can usually find on the website. read more

I went into PetSmart with my brother and sister this afternoon and I was rejected from buying a fish because they said my tank was too small but me and my wife have had fish for a while and I feel like I know what I'm talking about but I was told that they can't sell me a fish so fuck this place Petco for the win. read more

If I could figure out how to give less I would. My German Shepard has been going there for awhile to be groomed. Every thing was fine. We go this last time and he was all of a sudden too old for them to deal with. The women working there were rude and just didn't want to groom him since they were busy. We absolutely love this location, it is right by our house and we find ourselves here every other week or so. We always get stuff for our kitty cats, but we love taking our one and a half-year-old in to see some of the animals. He loves the snakes, and the birds. I know when we decide to get him his own little furry companion, this will be where we decide to come! read more

This review is only in regards to the grooming department. I had an appointment for my dog to get a haircut and bath. Upon arrival, and was told the groomer Amanda P was running late but was on her way. An hour later I had gotten all the way home and received a call that she never showed up, and if i still wanted my dog groomed it could be done by someone else, but would be at least an additional 4 hours because there were other dogs ahead of him. Mind you, he'd already been sitting in a cage for an hour already and there was no way I'd leave him there for an additional 4 hours (at least). They clearly don't care about pets, owner's time, or customer service. Little to no apology, no apology in person when i picked my dog up, disappointing all around. Between this recent inconvenience and the fact that they've done a sub-par job my previous two visits, I will never bring any of my pets to this or any petsmart location. read more

I took my roommate's dog for an appointment scheduled for 2:00 pm. I arrived early and they took him quickly. The woman I spoke with was very nice. When my roommate when to pick up the dog, however, they were still shaving him at 6:00 pm. The woman had cut off his whiskers and cut him in a few places. None of the cuts were bad (thank goodness) but, our doggy friend will not be returning to be groomed there. read more

Took both my pups for a way ovetdue grooming. Both groomers did a perfect job, bath, shave and clip. Will be back. Great experience.

Our first pet grooming visit with Holly was amazing and she was so sweet to our little guy. He was two months old and had so much fun with her. She did such a great job and even trimmed him a little since his coat was already getting pretty long. She deserves 5 Stars! Today, we took him back and met Patty, who wouldn't let us pay for a full grooming because he's "still a puppy" and "needs to get acclimated" nevermind the fact that he's a Shih Tzu/Maltese drowning in his curls and fluff. Patty was not nice to our now three month old puppy, which we learned when she said he didn't "like" her. He loves EVERYONE (even his vet, no joke) but the one time Patty handles him he's traumatized and looks horrible. She botched what she called a puppy "trim" (literally cut the hairs on top of his head after handing him back and now it looks ridiculous) and complained that a three month old puppy was scared of the dryer. Really? Come on. Said he was not cooperative at all and clearly "king of the house" and all other condescending things she could think of. Needless to say, we love you Holly but I don't think we can take our pup back to Petsmart after this. Thanks a lot Patty. read more

Holly and Olivia are amazing. They both always take such good care of my pup. They always make sure they understand what kind of cut I want and deliver. I have a little shihpoo and she gets so excited everytime I tell her we're going to the groomer. She walks in like she just knows shes going to see her friends and they know her by name as soon as we walk through the door. Love them. read more

The BEST experience I've had to date with a Petsmart groomer. Charlie's groomer was Olivia and she did a fantastic job. When I picked him up I could tell she really cared about my pup, his health, and my opinion on his grooming. She was super friendly and gave me great tips of how to make him less nervous when clipping his nails. Charlie was comfortable with her and looks like a little prince. I will 100% request Olivia again!!! read more

I would give zero stars if i could! I won't ever go back here to the grooming salon or the store. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment to take my 4 month old Boston terrier to get his nails cut. First off when i walked in there were several employees in the back just standing around talking and there was button that said to ring in case they were busy well i rang it and they just sat there and stared at me instead of coming out finally after 5 mins of them staring at me and talking someone came out and said since it wasn't 4 they couldn't take him yet ( it was 3:55) then they asked if i had his rabies paper so i showed it to them and told them it had today's date because i had to get the vet to reprint it so i could bring it and they said they wouldn't take him because they didn't believe it! They were extremely rude and then went to get the manger to talk to me because they didn't know what they were doing and even the manager was rude! He just dismissed me and said we can't do it and handed me my paper back and walked away. I will never bring my dog back to get groomed here ever i will go elsewhere where people actually care about the pets they are getting and know what they're doing.
