Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday boy at the Birthday +Gotcha Bash! We received excellent customer service and are so grateful for these types of events!

Do NOT Recommend! I deeply regret bringing my Poochon here. I was very clear about what I wanted. specifically, that I would comb my dog's hair myself and bring him back for a "teddy bear cut." I was told that it wasn't necessary and he would be fine, but when I picked him up, I could barely recognize him. The worst part is that now, my dog is terrified of baths and hides when it's time for grooming. Before this visit, I never had any issues with him being afraid of combing or baths. When I picked him up, he was actually crying and couldn't get out of the grooming salon fast enough. I honestly can't believe this is how things turned out, especially after I was so specific about what I wanted. If you truly care about your pet, I would recommend you go elsewhere where they listen to your requests and treat your pet with care and attention. My dog is now fearful baths & grooming. I'm left with a lot of disappointment, plus the added stress of finding another groomer to undo the damage. I won't be returning and wish I had read the reviews beforehand.

Pretty clean Petsmart. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My fiancé recently got a puppy (a big puppy though. He's a husky mix- we aren't entirely sure since he was a rescue). We needed to pick up some essentials that the puppy needed. We grabbed one of those water bowls for him and a harness. The collar and lease were not working since he would pull a lot and get choked. We let him pick out his toys too! He grabbed the crinkle toys and squeaky ones. He loves them. Added in a giant bone and we were good to go.

I am leaving this review for Karina in the grooming department! If you have a teacup, toy or miniature puppy I recommend 10/10!! This was Rocky's first grooming at 3 months so i was worried it wouldn't go so great being that he's a toy maltipoo and only 1.98lbs. Karina greeted us and made sure he was comfortable before she took him to the back. She assured me he was in good hands and would call once he was ready. I stood around for a bit just to make sure things were fine, and he was in good hands! Karina was very gentle and made sure Rocky was comfortable throughout the entire time. I love how she interacted with him and was sure to let him know that he was being a good boy. Overall I am satisfied with Rocky's first grooming experience. It's safe to say we found his groomer!

He loves getting groomed and shopping for toys here!

    Arcadia dawn light
    Evelyn A.

Just got home from this store after driving 20 mins specifically because this was the only location that had the reptile Arcadia jungle dawn light that I needed. ( it was my first time at this location ) what I think is unbelievable is that I bought the light for regular FULL price and when I got home and opened it up it was in horrible condition.... It's clearly used and it was poorly maintained. I don't care buying used products but for the same exact price as the new ones ? That's unbelievable, since when do stores sell used stuff for the same price as a new product ?? Worst part about it is an employee willingly took it back from someone after inspecting it and thought it was in good condition to put back onto the shelf's... truly disappointed with PetSmart. This is why reptile owners hate big chain stores. Now I have to waste my time and drive back to this store today or tmr because it's the only location carrying the lamp I need...

A couple of these weren't terribly serious, but we felt we weren't "in charge" anymore, that our dog wasn't getting the message from whatever we were doing, and that if we didn't do something different, it could really get out of control. Brad really helped us with this, where traditional "training" wasn't working. We have two or three things we're working on with our girl, but here is the most dramatic change we had with one issue. She is very food motivated, and would beg from us at the table whenever we sat down to eat, and would be underfoot in the kitchen during prep. She got overly excited and would not settle and lie down. Brad explained we weren't communicating well with her on a dog level, so to get that communication kicked in to gear, he actually started our session not with this problem, but with making sure she would not dash out the front door when it was opened. This was to establish that we were in charge and what was expected of her. What he showed us how to do worked like you wouldn't believe. It was like a light bulb went off for our girl. What we did affected everything after that. It wasn't about dashing out the door, it wasn't about begging for food, it was about knowing what was acceptable in our pack and to look to us for direction. That night, at dinner, she went to her "spot" with a simple direction and was relaxed during our entire meal. She can now be directed to her spot and will stay quietly any time we need her to. Best of all, she seems truly relieved that she doesn't have to be in charge and that WE are. She is much more relaxed around so many other things. It gave us so much more confidence! I didn't think that what Brad taught us would work. It's quite counterintuitive. But trust me, it worked like magic. This is not dog training - it's communication with your dog. Brad answers all your questions, doesn't waste your time, shows you clearly and directly what will work. We're so thankful we found him!

I met with several trainers before Brad & had little to no success in the areas we needed most, I was exhausted. Now for the first time ever, I can leave him home alone without the overwhelming anxiety and guilt that used to come with it. Our walks are actually enjoyable again, and I feel confident bringing him around friends and into new environments. What I appreciate most is that the training gave me the tools and confidence to understand and communicate with my dog better. I have my freedom back, and Cash is happier and more relaxed because of it. If you're struggling with separation anxiety, behavioral issues, or just want a better relationship with your dog, I can't recommend Brad enough. The impact has been life-changing.

We definitely recommend Andi!…read more We originally reached out to Andi for consultations regarding both of our Maltipoos, Kiki and Coco. During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and ethical trainer who truly puts dogs' well-being first, we wholeheartedly recommend Andi and Diamond Dog Training.

Working with Vladae will!…read more We've been working with Vladae for about four months with our now six-and-a-half-month-old Golden Retriever, Coach, and it has been one of the best investments we've made. What sets Vladae apart is that he doesn't just train dogs, he teaches owners how to build a lifelong relationship with them. Every lesson leaves us with practical tools, clear direction, and the confidence to continue the training every single day. Because of that, the progress doesn't stop when the session ends. Vladae has an incredible ability to understand dogs. Watching him read a dog's behavior, body language, and mindset is genuinely fascinating. He knows exactly how to communicate with each dog in a way they understand, and it's clear this comes from years of experience and a deep understanding of canine psychology. He's also one of the most invested professionals we've ever worked with. Throughout the week, he encourages us to send videos, provides thoughtful feedback almost immediately, and is always available to answer questions or jump on a call if we need guidance. You never feel like you're figuring things out on your own. He truly cares about both the dogs and the people raising them, and he always follows through. Every recommendation Vladae has made, whether it's training tools, techniques, or daily routines, has become an essential part of Coach's development. We trusted the process from day one, and the results truly speak for themselves. (See the videos! Coach is only 6.5 months old in them.) Our puppy is happy, confident, well-mannered, and genuinely loves learning. We receive compliments on his behavior everywhere we go, and we owe so much of that to the foundation Vladae helped us build. We also had the opportunity to work with Erica, who trains alongside Vladae, and she was absolutely wonderful. One session with Erica is included in the program, and it was incredibly helpful. It's clear she shares the same passion, knowledge, and dedication that make this training program so special. Vladae brings unmatched energy, professionalism, and passion to every session. He genuinely wants every dog and every owner to succeed, and that level of commitment is incredibly rare to find. If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and is committed to setting both you and your dog up for long-term success, I can't recommend Vladae highly enough. Coach has become an incredible puppy, and we're excited to continue into adult school because of the foundation he's helped us build. We're so grateful we found him!

Let me share a little background: We adopted our adult mini poodle (5-7 years old ) 10 months ago. He's crate trained but NOT potty trained. We tried potty-training several times by watching educational videos online and it was just confusing and contradicting. As a result, we gave up and he wears diaper since he is an indoor dog. He started snapping and actually bit my husband as he was removing the diaper. Bisko doesn't like it when we take off his diaper. On top of this, he barks like crazy when there's a visitor. He can go on and on for hours. The aggressive barking and snapping was addressed and corrected right after the first session! We are now currently doing potty training the right way. As the name of training entails, no force ( no shock collars, prong collars, etc. were used ) It's a lot easier now as there are definitive instructions provided on how to continue training. Addressing the negative reviews on Yelp: As I mentioned, I read every single review before deciding to contact Jeff: 1. For the initial contact, a phone call inquiry is really required as he has several questions about your dog. This cannot be done via text as there will be a lot of back and forth. 2. The other negative review is quite irrelevant. The training was successful for years and the incident happened 3 years after. There are a lot of factors that can happen in between those times. CONCLUSION: It's our first time trying training with a dog behaviorist and seen huge & significant improvement right away. This business is recommended! Hope we can continue further leash training later on.

She invited me in and told me to pull the door shut behind me after collecting the package. While I was in the process of retrieving and scanning the package, another employee, shown in the photo, approached me in an extremely aggressive manner and told me to "get the f-- out of the store." When I explained that another employee had just allowed me inside, she responded that she "didn't f--ing care" and ordered me to leave and come back in 10 minutes. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. I was not trespassing, causing a disturbance, or doing anything inappropriate. I was following the instructions given to me by another employee. There was absolutely no justification for profanity, hostility, or being spoken to in such a degrading and unprofessional manner. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location or dealing with this employee again. I previously had a subscription and also used to buy my dog food from this store. That will now be a thing of the past. I will be taking my business to Petco instead. This situation reflects poor communication, poor management, and shockingly unprofessional customer treatment.
