I took my cat here to get her nails clipped because the website says they provide this service. The lady in the grooming room had a very bad attitude and snipped at me that they "don't clip cats nails." She then sent me to the vet station inside the store where I spoke to a very friendly vet employee. I explained how somehow the grooming station doesn't offer nail clippings for cats. I don't know what she had access to, but she didn't offer any help and it took her 20 seconds to say no. I even talked to the manager on the phone and she was very short with me and didn't even refer me to another place to go. I felt like a nuisance there. I went to the Dog Pawlor off of college and received so much better care. They were way friendlier, cheaper, and it took me about 2 minutes total. read more

I like the selection available at Petsmart, but they seem to be understaffed. I had a issue with my total and asked a checker if she could call for a manager. Since she had another customer asking for a manager I just waited behind her check stand. The checker, who was really good, called for a manager three times and it was a while before one showed up. She dealt with the other customers issue, as the checker was able to deal with mine. Overall the service is good, but if you have an issue plan on waiting a while. read more

Very freindly staff. Our dogs stayed here for two nights. As far as we could tell they did well. We had asked for the suite and they were put in a normal kennel. They had to pee really bad when we left and were covered in something really stinky. They stink so bad we couldn't even make it home to give them a bath we had to stop somewhere. Wouldn't use it again because of the lack of outside space but it was ok for last minute read more

I come here for cat food and various dog supplies, but really, this review is for the grooming department. Elise is wonderful and so patient/sweet. She always takes great care of my dog; Freyja comes back so clean and tidy. My dog can be pretty high energy, so I'm especially thankful that Elise is able to take care of her and does so with a smile. I highly recommend PetSmart grooming department! And thank you Elise! read more

Dear Petsmart, WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! Might I say, this is one of my favorite to go on beautiful Thursday morning, along with McAlister's Deli. Anyways, the workers there at PetSmart are so nice, cute, and overall fun to be around. In particular, Damien, is it? I dont know how that man doesnt work for google or something. He is so smart, helpful, and very kind. When you stop by petsmart, say hi to damien, he will light up your day with his smile. With love, Ryry read more

I am giving the PetSmart Store in Fort Collins, Colorado a negative 10, the only reason they get a 1 is because you have to put something in. I booked an appointment over the phone to have my dog groomed, the appointment was for a specific time, I always put appointments in my phone, when I arrived, they misstated the time as earlier than the specific appointment I made and told me that they were booked and couldn't get me in. The attitude was one of "it must be your fault" not that they made a mistake. I will never use their services again. read more

Zero stars if i could... My dog had been sick for a couple days so I took him to the vet at Banfield and she said that he has diabetes and that it was going to cost me thousands of dollars to keep up with it and when I told her I didn't have thousands of dollars she said I should think of other alternate decisions. the next day I got home and he was doing worse and I thought I was going to have to put him to sleep because I cannot afford thousands of dollars. so i took him to another vet and he for sure does have diabetes but the insulin is only like $25. They made it sound WAY worse than it actually is. I almost put my dog down because of the vet here. I'm SO glad I went to a second vet. read more

The grooming salon is the best! they have been super careful with my furry kids for over 10 plus years. They take extra special care of my special needs dogs and I never have to worry about anything! read more

The woman in adoptions is absolutely useless. Refused to let me hold a cat for adoption 2 hours and 15 minutes before they closed because "they're getting ready to close" TWO HOURS BEFORE CLOSE. Also, 3 employees were standing in an isle chit-chatting about their weekend hiding from customers. There was a kitten was sitting in its own vomit and piss for who knows how long, and we returned to complain to her about the abuse of an animal sitting in its own piss and vomit, and she walked out saw it was me turned around (assumingly to get someone else to talk to us) came back out with a horrible attitude and said "I'm not in charge of cleaning their crates." EXCUSE ME?! WHAT? You're in charge of the adoption of these animals?? You're in PET CARE. Overall crap experience, worst customer service I've ever received and honestly disgusted with the service and quality of life their giving these poor animals. I would've just adopted all four to save them from the hell that is PetSmart, but she was too damn lazy to even let me hold a cat. DO NOT GO HERE read more

As far as a chain pet supply store it is average and has most of what I would need and anything I can't find here I would purchase online. When we took our dog to get groomed here the hair cut was OK, I little short near the eyes.. but the dog smell wasn't any better. I even saw blood on the back paw from his nails getting over trimmed. Overall it was medicore experience, and I will not take the dog back to get groomed here. read more

Took our golden doodle here to get groomed. Groomer asked if our dog played outside in the snow a lot (since it is the middle of winter). We answered yes, therefore we expected her to leave some fur on her for warmth. When we arrived to pick her up she was completely shaved to all one length. Her ears are completely shaved to the skin and she looks absolutely ridiculous. She even cut her entire face/beard down to nothing and cut her whiskers and EYELASHES off! The girl then let us have her back and I checked her ears inside and they were still filthy and full of hair. Ear cleaning, plucking, etc, is part of the service and was one of our main concerns. We had to ask her to take her back to finish the service we paid a hefty price for. All in all, I would not take my dog back here, as they did a horrendous job. No more playing outside for our doodle this winter! read more

The staff were friendly and helpful when we got our Teddy Bear hamster. Yet 5 days later we took him to our vet because he had loose stools. He was diagnosed with wet tail and had to take antibiotics. On his re-check 4 days after that, he was improved and gained weight. . Unfortunately the stool sample showed he had a tapeworm. More medicine required. I called and spoke with the store manager. She offered to let us return him, which I declined, since my daughter is in love with him and I have spent $200 I him already. It would have been nice to be offered some coupons for free food, yet nothing was offered. read more

These people do not care about your dog! They are very rough and rude. I should've listened to other dog owners. I brought in my pup and told them he was nervous and timid. They brought him in and didn't even do one nail while holding him down roughly. I'm glad they turned me away so that I can go somewhere where they actually give a sh**t. read more

Horrible grooming service. Derek kid butted my dog's hair when I asked for a trim..it is winter, not summer, as I had specified. He cut her rear end with scissors after shaving it to the exposed skin. It took four hours and fifteen minutes, I watched the last thirty min through the glass and he spent more time talking than working. Awful management of time and the manager didn't even care. Please spare your dog's agony, do NOT take them in. read more

This place is fantastic! Our dogs absolutely love Laura and Becky, the trainers, and the day camp is just so amazing!!! They treat our dogs and their accomodations with the upmost dilligence and watch over anything we are concerned about and report to us immediately. Somewhat pricey, but we've tried other place and other try to immitate but none can replicate! read more

Don't get your dog groomed here! I have taken my two little guys here several times and every time I come pick them up, they don't look how I asked and their nails are too short. One time, my dog had a cut on his belly after I brought him home. The groomers are rude and don't care about what you want at all, they probably don't care about the dogs' well being either. My dogs are terrified of the grooming area, when I start walking to the door, they pull away and start shaking. I'm never getting my dogs groomed here again. read more

We love the Fort Collins Petsmart! We've been bringing our dog, Lily, since she was a puppy and some of the staff know her by name and get excited to see her when we come in. The best part has been the training classes with Laura! We have taken them all and enjoyed them thoroughly. Lily is super smart and easily outsmarts her humans but Laura always had advice and suggestions for us to combat that. We are rookie level owners and ended up adopting an expert level dog but Laura helped us every step of the way. She truly cares about every single dog (probably in the entire world) and genuinely wants the best for them. Her years of experience are second to none and I wouldn't trust anyone else to train my dogs. read more

This is the absolutely most appalling place I have ever been to. I'm 38 years old with four small children and two days ago I lost my husband who is 38 years old as well. He always kept the prescription card for our dogs food. I did not have it and needed their food and then clerk would not sell it to me I tried explaining the situation and she even got rude. Please I beg anyone to not go to this store. My family has been through enough tragedy and they had zero compassion!! read more

love it as well. their prices are little cheaper than petco, but the slaes people are very friendly and helpful. I usually go to either petco or pets smart to get the better price. no problems here. read more

A grooming factory. Stayed in the room and watched a dog fall off table and no one attended to it. No one talked to the dogs. We live in a vet-rich town; store owner should get some advice on training personnel. read more

I like this store, with such a large variety of cat food. The prices seem a little high. Some things are double in cost. Like the cat tunnels. At walmart, half the cost. But they do have a much larger selection of toys and food. read more

I am writing about the grooming. I am giving them 3 stars, because they actual do a pretty good job grooming, but they never seem to care how I would actually like my dog groomed. The groomer just seems to do whatever they would like. They can be very rude and have an attitude of someone, who thinks they know what is best for you. I have been grooming my dog the same way for the last 7 years (she is 7), and until moving to Colorado have never had trouble with this. It seems to me that these groomers need to take their egos down a notch and listen to their customers. We are not all stupid. It would be nice to be treated with some real respect (as opposed to some put on attitude). I always give very specific instructions, so there should be no confusion and tip nicely when they are finished. Please staff, once you have discussed your point of view (in a polite manner) with your customer....take your customer seriously and do as they request. read more

My wife and I went to Pet Smart on 7/16/16 to purchase dog food for our 3 dogs. While there I noticed doggy treats displayed on two pegs next to one another. Despite the fact that the bags weighed the same, and had the same SKU they were marked at different prices (one at $5.49, and the other at $8.49). The long and short of it is that I asked to speak to the manager. When he saw the two identical bags, he tried to tell me that someone had switched the tags. I told him that there were SKUs for the same product with different prices, and that I wanted the lower price ($5.49). The manager became upset with me, and grabbed the SKU sale price sticker I had in my hand, slapped it on the doggy treats I was holding, and knocked them to the floor. He then rather insincerely picked the bag up, handed it to me and walked away. It was my impression that he tried to intimidate me by slapping the bag from my hand. To make matters worse, I called Pet Smart's customer service line three different times to report the incident. They never called me back with any information or formal apology. We are taking our $200+ per month dog food business elsewhere, and will not shop at Pet Smart in Loveland again! read more
