    I have taken my dog there to be groomed on many occasions. And every once in a while there's an occasional thing that they miss. I took him to get groomed today and specifically explained that he has surgery next week and his hair needed to be cut pretty low. I go to pick him up and he has patches in his fur on his chest. VERY noticeable and big patches. His tail and privates weren't trimmed at all. As well as the hair on his ears being long. I discussed this with the groomers many times about trimming him well. And now I'm out $82 and I still have to trim him myself. This is completely unacceptable

    This review is for my experience with Petsmart grooming. I'm really not sure if I just paid Petsmart to groom my dog or hang out with her for a few hours. She's awesome and all, but I would've liked to get what I paid for. When she came out, she wasn't brushed, her ears weren't cleaned, and I'm really not certain anything happened at all, aside from her nails being trimmed. No one let us know when she was done, and I have a feeling she was sitting for quite some time. No sheet telling us what services were performed with her like last time. My husband called to politely speak to a manager about the "look great guarantee" only to be transferred without telling him he'd be speaking to someone else. The person on the other end said they don't "brush shedding hair," despite the website purporting that a 15 minute brushing is included, and more excuses followed, so he just hung up. I'm sure they're unaffected, but we're taking our business elsewhere.

    Arinn did a fantastic job grooming my dalmation Bella! She really personalized the experience and put my mind to ease when she told me how well Bella did :) We will be back to see Arian! I really like the Pawgress Report I got when I picked her up.

    We have two cavapoos going through training and John is a fantastic trainer!! Could not recommend this place more and very affordable :)

    They are very rude! They would not sell a fish that I have bought and many other fish stores! Do not recommend to shop here at all

    Staff is very friendly and I can normally find what I need. It's very hard to walk past the kitties without not wanting to take one home.

Anya…read moreanswered the first time I called and patiently listened to the issues we had with our rescue dog we got from San Antonio, TX (we live in the Akron area). Then she and Jacob asked a lot of questions and listened intently at the consultation appointment. Gunther had issues with aggressiveness when he was scared or unsure, he was very hyper and spastic, and we could tell he just didn't know how to behave as a dog in a loving home. We opted to send Gunther away with Anya for the 4 weeks border/training program. He came back to us a completely different dog! Gunther learned so much with Anya! He is a super obedient dog and overall has really calmed down. No more jumping on people, no more aggression, no more spastic behavior, no more scarfing his food...he is visibly a much happier dog! He now understands what is expected of him and he really wants to please. We are so thankful for Anya and her team. We have since participated in group walks and Anya is so caring of and concerned with all the dogs. Anya is also a very kind and patient human trainer (the reality is we dog owners often need as much if not more training on how to handle ourselves!)! No regrets, worth every penny and every bit of time!

Even when they've canceled on me at the last minute and put me in difficult situations, I continued to support them and even referred others. at the This is no reflection on the groomer. I am hoping they didn't tell her. About a month ago, my younger brother passed away unexpectedly. That same week, I missed a grooming appointment -- the first one I've ever missed -- and realized it about an hour later. I immediately called to reschedule. Instead of any understanding, I was told I would be charged a $35 rescheduling fee. I explained the situation, apologized, and even offered to tip the groomer extra. The woman on the phone was rude, completely unsympathetic, and told me they could not book another appointment unless I paid the fee, even offering to charge the card on file. I declined and then emailed the owners. It's now been about a month, and I have received no response. I understand policies exist, and I even understand that the employee was likely just following them. But as a business owner myself, I also understand that there are moments where compassion and common sense should outweigh rigid rules -- especially for a loyal customer of over a decade. I don't typically leave negative reviews until I've exhausted every avenue with management, but the lack of response speaks volumes. For the sake of a $35 fee, you've lost a loyal customer of 10+ years. That's incredibly disappointing. Do better, Central Bark.

Yana contacted me promptly. We set up a free consultation meeting with Collin, one of the trainers. I immediately wanted more, Collin explained everything and I was excited to get her started. My GSD loves her training. She looks forward to it. The training techniques work but you must be a responsible dog owner and do your homework. Trust me the training works, the staff at K9 Guide Training are excellent, compassionate, professional trainers. I highly recommend them.

    Here's an update to my last review. As you recall, in response to my initial review, the company…read moresaid they'd be willing to offer alternative training services, even though they wouldn't refund the $1850 I paid (or even part of it) . I had to cancel several months in advance due to a health issue with my dog. I reached out to them to see what we could arrange and they put together a contract that required me to take down all my reviews and never write a negative word about them ever again in order to render those services. The agreement also included a liquid damages provision, which would have required me to pay them money if I wrote anything disparaging about them. Obviously I did not sign such an agreement since I had no idea what kind of services they would be rendering. Although they had $1850 of my money, they had not rendered any services so I had no clue as to the quality of the work. I didn't think it was fair to take down a review or be stopped from posting a review that would benefit other customers. So, instead of training services, I asked them to send me the equipment that they would have used to train my dog, and I would hire another trainer. Despite numerous attempts to reach them, they have not answered that request or sent the equipment. To me, their response to my original review was just a bunch of words. In my opinion, they don't care anything about my dog, just the money. I don't believe either of these things are good qualities in a dog trainer. I hope this review helps.
