Took my puppy In to get his nails done before flying back home with him. Miss Allie was kind and very good with my little guy . Staff at store were really nice as well . Only reason I couldn't give it five stars was because of sticker shock. Heads-up! Pricing has gone up ! Nail trim with grinding use to be 11$ plus tip now is $19 . So be prepared to pay ! I used to take my dog to PetSmart for grooming all the time, and then in the last few years the service has totally gone downhill. They used to greet my dog with treats and make him feel comfortable because he (like most pets that go to the groomer) gets anxious. They used to take their time and be patient with him, but now no more. If he even moves an inch on their table or shies away when they first try to blow dry him, they immediately stop grooming him and ask us to pick him up and hand him back to us unfinished. Unprofessional, zero patience, and total lack of understanding of how to groom a sweet dog that has some anxiety is what comes to mind when I think of PetSmart grooming. If you can't handle a dog with a minor case of anxiety, then maybe you shouldn't groom dogs in the first place! Never taking my dog back here again. read more

Two stars overall for many years of lackluster service..... Our cashier today was exceptionally rude. No reason for it, no excuse for it. :( Then, two of the five fish that we purchased died in the car during the 12 minute ride home. I have taken my dog there to be groomed on many occasions. And every once in a while there's an occasional thing that they miss. I took him to get groomed today and specifically explained that he has surgery next week and his hair needed to be cut pretty low. I go to pick him up and he has patches in his fur on his chest. VERY noticeable and big patches. His tail and privates weren't trimmed at all. As well as the hair on his ears being long. I discussed this with the groomers many times about trimming him well. And now I'm out $82 and I still have to trim him myself. This is completely unacceptable read more

This review is for my experience with Petsmart grooming. I'm really not sure if I just paid Petsmart to groom my dog or hang out with her for a few hours. She's awesome and all, but I would've liked to get what I paid for. When she came out, she wasn't brushed, her ears weren't cleaned, and I'm really not certain anything happened at all, aside from her nails being trimmed. No one let us know when she was done, and I have a feeling she was sitting for quite some time. No sheet telling us what services were performed with her like last time. My husband called to politely speak to a manager about the "look great guarantee" only to be transferred without telling him he'd be speaking to someone else. The person on the other end said they don't "brush shedding hair," despite the website purporting that a 15 minute brushing is included, and more excuses followed, so he just hung up. I'm sure they're unaffected, but we're taking our business elsewhere. read more

You never know what you will get here. I had a 7 am appt for my 2 dogs and was met at the door by an employee wearing ear buds that couldn't even smile or say good morning. Once I got to the grooming salon, I was told they could only do one of my dogs. The appt was made so early because they told me that was the only time they could get both dogs together. My one has anxiety and her brother calms her so leaving one wasn't an option. I rearranged my entire day for this and they could have cared less that they had made the mistake. I will not return to this store. read more

Apparently the HVAC broke in just the grooming salon only but nobody thought it'd be a good idea to call or leave me a voicemail letting me know. Walked into the store or my dog's appointment and was told I'll just have to call back tomorrow to reschedule? Seriously? Aside from that, I've taken my dog there for over a year because of the ease of scheduling and readily available appointments that you can make online. The quality of the cut is very hit or miss depending on what groomer you get. It was pretty bad the last time, my dog looked like they just butchered her fur in weird places. After this last experience, I will not be going back. read more

They always do a great job on my dog. She always looks beautiful and clean after groomings. She leaves there happy and relaxed. I have had issues with other places grooming where she comes home very upset and even has thrown up from anxiety. I have never had this problem with petsmart. I am taking off a star off because they have an employee there who absolutely disgusts me. She is older and her name is Patty (or Patti maybe?) On multiple occasions taking my dog to this location I have seen her yelling/being mean to dogs that she is grooming. I have heard her telling them they are annoying or taking up too much time. I have heard her complain that a dog needs to be trained better or using harsh tones with people's pets. I have on one occasion specifically asked for her to not groom my dog. I could not imagine trusting someone with the care of my pet for 2-3 hrs and then finding out they were mean to them the whole time. If you take your dog here I suggest you have literally anyone else besides Patty and you will have an awesome experience! read more

I've been taking my dog there for many years now to get groomed. After a recent experience I will not go back. Online it states that part of the grooming package is anal gland cleaning. After the last visit my dog came home with his tail tucked and would yelp whenever he tried to sit down. I took him to the vet and found out that his anal glands were full and infected! I called the store to see if they were cleaned the day before and they stated that they only clean them if the owner asks. During the check in process I was never asked if I wanted it done; I had assumed it would be done since it was part of the package. They got the manager for me to speak to and he also stated it was by request only. I understand that some people would not want it to be done, but if it clearly states it is part of the grooming package I should've been asked or it should've been done (and if my dog was fine when I dropped him off and only started showing pain and discomfort after his visit, it leads me to believe they tried to clean them or messed with them in someway during his visit). It makes me wonder if they clean his ears and do the other services listed as part of the package. I was told that I would get a call from the manager a few days after I spoke with him in the store. That was in early July....I'm still waiting for the call. If you do go there to get your dog groomed, don't assume they will do what you are paying for....ask them to do it and be specific. read more

Don't go here. They are butchers and they let you think you are getting who you request for but then if that person actually did the grooming then their performance was like night and day seeming like someone brand new was doing it unlike the manager you requested for and specially asked that they not be passed of because of the previous horrible experience that took 6 months to grow out. Staff is very friendly and I can normally find what I need. It's very hard to walk past the kitties without not wanting to take one home.

I had a horrible experience this morning and wasn't treated well at all my the manager VERGIL.....no empathy, no customer service, no kindness or care for my rescue dog. She was locked in a cage for her 9:00 appt. and I was not called until 11:00 to be informed that her groomer had taken ill while grooming another dog! I feel horrible for that employee but what is the purpose of an appt....and I should have gotten that call at 9:15 not after 2 hours that my already skittish pup had to be locked in a cage. Horrible service and I will not be returning. read more
