Stay away from this place if you are looking for grooming! I…read morealways made my next appointment when I picked up my dog. So my appointment came up and I dropped my dog off at 10:00 for her 10:00 appointment. Right at 1:00 I get a call saying the groomer is having car issues and wouldn't be coming in. I can understand things happen unexpectedly but here is where I have an issue. She was supposed to be to work at 10:00 but you call me 3 hours later to tell me she wouldn't be coming in. At 11:00 when she hadn't showed up, I should have been called and told the situation and given the option to wait and see if she showed up or if I wanted to reschedule. I wondered around for 3 hours just waiting to pick up my dog. I should have been told what was going on! So on to what happened after. I had a call with the "manager". He told me the groomer would definitely be in the following Saturday and rescheduled me for that day. He also offered a discount. Ok fine. Saturday I drop my dog off again at 10:00. I got a call about 12:30 stating the groomer wouldn't be in because of yet again, car trouble. So the manager said he spoke with the groomer and she told him the car was fixed and she would be in. He scheduled this appointment and now I find out he lied! He offered to pick my dog up one day during the week and bring her to the place to be groomed. Some may feel comfortable with their dog being driven across the river by a stranger but I'm not one of those people! They also offered to pay for a company to come get her and again, that's not a good option. How on earth the groomer that hasn't shown up to work in weeks still have a job is beyond me. One of the workers gave me a name and email of the owner because I wanted to speak with them about what went on. Well she gave me a name and email but not of the owner. After walking to the back twice I guess the workers decided it would be funny to not give me the correct information. This place is ridiculous with the lies. The last text I sent o the manager went unanswered of course. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place sure isn't worth your time or money!!!!

I was told DIVA DOG and Brittney was very familiar with the dog. I called as soon as they opened & although they were absolutely Donnie said to bring her in & under the circumstances they would absolutely take care of her. I should mention that this is not the first time this has happened. This dog is use to being in the house with her human momma and nobody else. That being said Donnie & Brittney have a calming effect and she was just fine. They clean her up and she is a new dog. You can tell she feels so much prouder and she likes the way she looks. I don't personally have a dog but if I did DIVA DOG would be the place I would bring them to get groomed Thank goodness Walker has a wonderful business like DIVA DOG and wonderful people like Donnie & Brittney.

Their prices are affordable and the quality of care is top notched. For example, our dog has only one eye with an ulcer. Every single vet tech that has assisted them in examining our dog has been very patient and careful. A typical office exam consists of nail trim (if uncomplicated), anal sac expression, ear cleaning and the physical exam. They do not offer in house billing but do accept care credit. We highly recommend O'Neal Lane Pet Hospital because we trust them with our pets and they treat us like we are family.

He has cared for our dogs year after year, giving them and us expert veterinary care and gentle kindness. His care has extended to providing a peaceful, dignified passing when the time comes. When Shomer our 175-pound male English mastiff was dying, Dr. Albarado met us at Sherwood's back door with helpers and a trolley to make everything be easy and smooth. Luckily, Shomer had passed peacefully in our van on the way to the clinic. He went to sleep as he did every afternoon while being petted by his mom and protected by his dad. Dr. Albarado and Sherwood refused payment and let us pay only for cremation services. Sherwood is open 24-hours a day, provides emergency care and --- unlike Banfield --- offers final care. Sherwood is there when you and your pet need help. We have not used it yet, but Sherwood also offers day care and boarding. In the past, we have been able to find trustworthy folks to come stay in our home so that our pets can be safe and comfortable. Sherwood is the only place we consider trustworthy of taking care of our family. From the Sherwood's website: Dr. Adam R. Albarado was born and raised south of New Orleans in Marrero, Louisiana. From an early age, his goal has always been the pursuit of caring for companion animals. Dr. Albarado obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at LSU with his DVM being awarded in 2004. With a special interest in dentistry and feline medicine, Dr. Albarado joined the Sherwood South Animal Hospital team of veterinarians in December of 2018. He's a member in both AVMA and LVMA.
