Feeder crickets are contaminated. Manager was very demeaning and rude to me when I pointed that out. Made comments about me to other customers and staff members. I had a larder bettle in my bag of crickets and when I asked if they would take them back (didn't want to get my gecko sick and I had only walked out to my car) manger told me that's how they come. My parter and I have both worked in the pet care industry, and that's not how it works. Larder beetles show up were things are nasty and moist. Shipments of feeders do NOT show up with them unless they are contaminated. If this kind of filth is normal to them I'm worry about what other kind of nasty things they thing is normal. The manager, I think her name was Ashley, also choose to demean me in front of other customers and with other staff members. I will not be shopping at this location again. read more

Direst Ladies restroom I've ever been in, we travel a lot and was really disappointed in the condition!

Disgusting how the workers don't even care about the pets there, out of all the 6 cats only one had water and it's water bowl was full of litter, so imagine being so thirsty and dehydrated that you are forced to drink chemical water full of litter it breaks my heart for those poor cats not only that but they are in the tiniest box possible desperate for love and pets and only 2 of them had a bed that was also full of litter on them, and a couple of the cats food was mixed in the litter so they would have to pick through litter with their mouth to eat some kibble. One of the cats also had a bloody chin like a cut I'm not sure how but they need to also take better care of that. DO BETTER PET SMART!! read more

They called and said my dog was ready to pick up i waited out side of the reception area only one customer at a time . while waiting i noticed one of the girls step out and spray the dog that was leaving all over with something did not think anything about it . I pick my dog up and got her in my truck she stank! Now i know why they sprayed the dog ahead of us they must not clean the holding cages or they put her in a dirty one . Defeats the purpose of bathing the animals , i figured i would pay someone to bath her to allow me to get other thing's done never again . read more

We had accidentally bought adult food instead of puppy food and didn't realize until we opened the bag. We noticed the kibble was bigger, then read the label to realize we got the wrong one in a hurry. I called right after we found out, and a really nice man said that mistakes happen and we can return it. He was very friendly. However when we actually came into the store to return it, and old man named Jerry checked us out. We told him we needed to exchange some food, and we realized we got the wrong bag. He looked at the bag and then us, and laughed in a condescending way. He said "after you opened it". This really rubbed me the wrong way, and he was not shy about hiding the fact that he thought we were stupid. Laekyn is my favorite groomer. She is the sweetest and show care for my dogs. She has always made sure everything was fine. She even went out of her way to explain what would be best haircut for my little rat-cha. She tried her best with his stubbornness to clip his nails and thats all i could ask! 10/10 read more

This review is really just for the grooming services, well, for BETH'S grooming services, which were stellar. I was nervous about having our cavalier King Charles spaniel groomed at a chain store franchise. Full disclosure: About 20 years ago, a friend of mine had to put his dog down because a groomer broke the little cocker spaniel's leg, and it could not be reset. Until now, we have had all our dogs groomed at the groomer housed within our vet's office, which is reassuring to me. But, our regular groomer's earliest available appointments are now in SEPTEMBER! Our little cavalier was getting pretty matted, so I was forced to look elsewhere for her health and safety. When I went in to book the appointment, there was just one woman in the grooming area (which is completely viewable through glass from the store areas), and I had to wait a little bit for her to get to a stopping point with the dog she was grooming so she could take my information. I was grateful for the time to observe not only the worker, but the dog, to see how stressed or nervous he seemed and how she handled him. The dog was very calm while she worked on his foot pads, and she was not hurried or abrupt with him. Assured enough by all of this, I booked a Saturday noonish appointment for our little Betty. When we arrived, we noticed the woman checking in the dog ahead of us, asking a lot of questions about cut, services, etc. The woman who checked us in wasn't as personable, and given Betty's fur matting, was NOT encouraging; basically, she showed us a swatch of fabric "fur" to show us that they would shave Betty everywhere. We were a little upset because the cavalier coat is not ideally to be cut at all, but due to our own delay in getting her groomed, she was going to have to have some mats cut out. But that seemed a little aggressive to us! We kept talking to her about what could be kept and brushed out, and when we left, we saddened and nervous about what we would get when we came back three to four hours later to collect her. They called about four hours later and said she was ready to pick up, so off we went. We waited while they went to pick her up, and when she came out, we couldn't believe it! We were prepared for bald Betty, but she came out fluffy and beautiful, mat free, with pretty little bows in her "pigtails" (her ears). We had stipulated we wanted her fluffy little hobbit feet left long, too, and they were trimmed and shaped, looking fabulous. There were some shaved areas, but they were well camouflaged. Seriously, she looked AMAZING! We took our sales slip to the check out at the front of the store (she was $40, which I signed off on when we took her in), and I got $10 cash for the groomer. I went back and said, "I have a tip for Beth..." not knowing who she was. The personable, energetic woman we had seen initially upon arrival said, "I'm Beth!" and we talked to her about how happy we were with the quality of the cut and she explained what she had done and how mindful she had been of what we wanted. I will happily return with any of our dogs here, but only if I can make a Beth-specific appointment. She was awesome! read more

I got my dog done by the manager I believe Jessica. Yes that's her name. My dog was very nervous and she seemed nice and I figured she would be in good hands will she wasn't when I got her back she wasn't there so another groomer gave me my dog the hair cut was so uneven and my dog looked ugly she had beautiful fur not just that but when I got my dog home it started acting odd. I looked at her butt and belly and she had Razer burn on her butt and belly . I was so upset I'm never going back and to top it off it took 4-6 hours to get her back! Do not go to Jessica she's a bad groomer and a bad manager, if she can't get the hair cut right. Nor be decent enough to tell me she burn my dog. She also did the wrong hair cut. Pet smart is the worst pet store out there. Please deter all your animal needs to Petco. Where they actually care about the customers and their animals. The staff here are the rudest people. Not only do they not greet you when u walk in, but they all conjugate at night in a little circle while they ignore you. Then you have to track someone down just to ask a question. And when you do find someone she looks at you like you're something she stepped in then talk about you in front of your kids as you walk off. Night shift staff is terrible in Conway. Old guy is nice. Purple hair girl is nice. Other girl w brown hair at night should NOT be allowed to work in cust service. Rude! And I will never walk back into that store again. They lost our business after tonight and we drove straight to petco where they all greeted me w smiles and happy faces and walked around w me an got me everything I asked for and was so nice. One of the staff here is rude my son wanted a toad so i told him to get a small critter carrier container he went to tell a worker and by the time i got over to where they were the worker went off on my disabled 7 year old son saying it wasn't the proper setup for a frog and he couldn't have one the she ran off to the back so I couldn't talk to her and that container was just to house it til we got home instead of a bowl we live 125 miles away and don't have a pet store so we were going to get one but she was rude she made my son cry we had the proper setup at home never will i go there again a complete waste of time and very disrespectful to a disabled child didnt even give me a chance to explain what he was wanting!!! read more
