So many unique pet needs for any reptile, fish, rodent, birds, cat, dog needs. I was so lost at looking, watching mesmerized by the creatures. The only REAL problem with the entire store is the checkout and the till staff when you want to GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY !! You can go there at peak times with the entire line full or be the only one in the store and have to wait, every , single, time. I've been there and waited while the person on desk #1 will eventually wander back over to it after having a lovely chat with the girl on #3. I was there on Dec 11 and dropped a couple of hundred on dog food and that's how it happened! You will actually feel your life ebbing away and slipping closer to death waiting in that line, its THAT bad. (grin) I don't know if its their system, or the staff training, or the steps in the checkout process, or what, but the waiting in that bloody line is beyond ridiculous. I used to come to Global Pet Foods pretty regularly every few weeks to stock up on raw food for my…read moredogs because I absolutely loved the service. My last visit, unfortunately, will be my last. Since expanding their raw food selection, Global has not kept up with educating their staff about canine nutrition, which made for an extremely awkward and painful experience listening to a staff member try to make it sound like she knew what she was talking about. Global has clearly caught onto a market that is demanding raw food nutrition for their pets, but has fallen sorely behind in backing these products up. There are many other highly knowledgeable sources available in the city if you are looking to buy raw food for your dogs, and I would highly recommend giving your business to people whose passion is extending genuine knowledge and sound advice regarding canine nutrition. In hindsight, I wish I would have brought my business to a local pet store anyway, rather than a chain that offers Air Miles and drives other small businesses across the street under...

I had such a fun time shopping for winter clothes with my dog last night. We are from TX so he is…read morenot used to this snow at all. In fact, when Milo goes outside to potty, his feet get so cold, he hobbles around as though his legs are broken until we get inside to the warmth. I knew I had to get him boots at minimum. And, I wasn't looking forward to it. I know how dogs HATE boots. Thank goodness for Global Pet Foods. One of the staff members energetically ran over to help us try on boots. She found the perfect ones for them, and helped me get them on. She made the process so easy and even brought treats over for Milo so that we could make sure he could walk in his new boots -- he wasn't wanting to move otherwise! Then, we moved onto coats. They had so many options and sizes. I found him a perfectly fitting Canada Pooch one with a cute scarf to match. I just HAD to... (haha)! When I was checking out, I was laughing with the ladies running the store about all the hilarious winter gear for dogs out there. I brought up this knit hat with braids that I saw on the Canada Pooch website, and we just died laughing. They said they would like to try ordering some and would call me if they end up getting them in stock. Such a fun place to shop with great customer service. I want to drive clear across town every time for my doggie's necessities now. It's not the closest one to me, but I don't care ;)

The owner, May, came highly recommended to me by a friend. It was our puppy's first time at a…read moregroomer's, and May ensured his visit was a positive one. She kept him for three hours to ease him into the routine. I'm not sure why, but my dog's hair prior to visiting May was matted. His fur starting growing massively, and it out of control. As a result, May has to cut off his beard, around his ears, and a couple of other problem areas where it was matted. We bought a new brush from May (good price too), to prevent this from happening again. Our puppy was washed, teddy bear cut, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, bum tided up, and with tip and tax, it came up to about $70. Since our dog was a puppy, May gave us a discount, which was much appreciated. I think for more basic services (no fancy haircut), the price is cheaper.

He's never been more excited to see his groomer and always comes out looking like a champ. They don't have a mass drop off time which is nice you bring them in and after a couple hours he's ready. He gets that one-on-one attention that I think he deserves and they do an amazing job of caring for him and making sure that he looks and feels amazing. Always excited to go and always just the best environment when you go there. Definitely a thumbs up thank you guys for taking care of him. You definitely are going above and beyond and it's nice to see people that care about him as much as we do.

We asked specifically for a first time groom for our two 1 year old dogs. I could hear my dogs outside through the concrete building. When approached the groomer said "I bet you're wondering why I'm not with your dogs?" She offered a lame excuse and continued on her way. We waited an hour longer than the quoted time for our pups to be released, she hands us a bill and walks away. No love for our dogs, not nurturing...we will never bring our sweet dogs here again. I hope the dogs will forgive us for such a traumatic experience.
