Their staff introduced me to their doctor while I was standing on Circle L Animal Rescue land. I took the dogs to her. Dr. Debbie Wilson phoned me at home and said she would provide, medically, for the dogs and even had one delivered to my home in Paulden! When I sent all the vet invoices I also shared that my only income was $550.00 monthly I receive from Social Security. These dogs medical bills demonstrate the poor health of the dogs at Circle L Animal Rescue. I shared that these vet bills were a financial strain on me. They blew me off entirely and said talk to their lawyers!!!!!!!!! Do not be taken in as I was. Circle L Animal Rescue in Prescott Valley is a deceiving, dishonorable, and phony. They don't care about the dogs. Only the $$$$$$$$$$$ signs Tanya Liptak.

The dog pens were not clean of feces and the animals were dirty. The staff is slow to respond and answers questions with condescending, argumentative answers as if one is not knowledgeable about animals (except them) nor one does not know how to care for animals (but them). I was picking a dog, but when I suggested continue to look another day and time just to ascertain I was getting the best dog for my family (because they had no questions regarding my home or intentions as no application was available . . . I concluded this is a sanctuary, which is a wonderful thing, but they are not interested in adopting out any animals. Don't get your heart broken by wanting a dog from this facility and then dealing with the heart break that their lack of enthusiasm is obvious and they have every excuse for stalling so that you do not get a animal from them.

You can write as much as you want, but I stand by what I said. Your people were extremely rude and yes, they did give Bella to a friend. You are not being truthful with what we went through, but it's over and done with. I still suggest that people be highly cautious when dealing with your organization. I would never suggest using your services.

I would give this organization negative stars because they do not even deserve one star! I…read moresubmitted an adoption application online for a Newfoundland and I have to say, this organization was extremely unprofessional. After receiving my application they sent me a two sentence email to set up a 'home visit' for two weeks later! If I had a dog that needed a home I wouldn't make her or the people wait that long! So we waited the two weeks and were very excited. During the wait we received zero follow up nor did they provide anymore information about the process or the dog. The day finally came and we waited all day (3pm appointment) and I even took off work but, these people NEVER showed up and NEVER called as well as my email asking for an explanation went unanswered! The appointment was a day and time of their choice and they do not show up?! We waited all that time and my disabled father was crushed! For a nonprofit relying on the goodwill of the public for financial support and adoptions this has to be the dumbest and most unprofessional way to go about business. Do not waste your time or money with these rude and inconsiderate people. Go to the city shelter to adopt pet truly in need.

Have heard this many times and tried to talk to the director, but was told have them call her! She could care less when I told her I was not volunteering any more at the first of the year. Unfortunately, I have stopped doing this following my recent visit to the shelter. My 15-yr old Australian Cattle Dog mix had recently passed away and I was interested in adopting another adult dog. I was told that I had to be interviewed by their "dog adoption specialist" before being allowed to meet this dog. This was the most condescending and humiliating interview I could have imagined. After just 10 minutes of the interview, I walked out without meeting any of the available dogs. I then visited the Verde Valley Humane Society - totally the opposite experience. I was greeted by a very pleasant and helpful man that took his time to introduce me to a few of the dogs that were available. Everyone working there were friendly and helpful. This experience was absolutely night and day from the experience I had just had at the Sedona Humane Society. It is understandable why so many of the dogs at Sedona Humane have been there for so long without being adopted.
